I'm in Washington. It shouldn't so hot here, we're the northern most continental state. We're practically arctic tundra...

TutsTalkin.. 07-11-2010 03:48 AM

I'm not sure how hot it was exactly. It's 78 now but my house is about 10 degrees hotter. xP

Really? I actually thought Maine was further north...=/

fairywaif 07-11-2010 04:39 AM

I recall it being Maine also.

I'm watching Kekkaisshi! :)

Emma Corrin 07-11-2010 04:41 AM

I think Maine is higher than Washington

Sooo - now all the heat?
Is like, gone XD
It's cold now T_T

Cardinal Biggles 07-11-2010 04:50 AM

Yeah, I always thought Maine was further north too, but then I read that part of Washington was, I don't know.

Emma Corrin 07-11-2010 04:55 AM

Haha - it doesn't look it on a map~
But maybe?
Who knows :P

-rolls around the thread while watching Law Abiding Citizen-

HappyStarr 07-11-2010 04:57 AM

ya know? It looks like there's one point in Minnesota that's the furthest north. XD And...Maine is lower on the map than I originally thought. >.<

Emma Corrin 07-11-2010 05:12 AM

Lolol~
You sure?
Weirddd~
Now I'm thinking I'm remembering the map wrong but I'm too lazy to look it up XD;;
-hasn't looked at a US map in quite some time-
Ah well haha

So what's everyone up to?

HappyStarr 07-11-2010 05:15 AM

Not much, really. Trying not give in to the temptation to eat more milk and cookies. It's becoming nightly....

But I'm failing. Though, I guess it can only last as long as I have milk....and then I have to wait until I go back to Safeway. >.>

Emma Corrin 07-11-2010 05:17 AM

Lol!
But they're yummyyy haha
I'd totally be doing the same thing if my grandma made them T_T <3

Lolol!
-snugs-
But hey - at least you're eating something yummy with your milk!
And you're eating healthy!
Milk is healthy ;)

HappyStarr 07-11-2010 05:20 AM

haha indeed! I'm actually normally a very healthy person. I just have huge periods of milk/cookies and/or ice cream or cake splurges. At least my friend and I are planning on working out together on a regular basis. I've been sooo out of shape lately.

And I WISH these were homemade. I can't really bake here at home, since it heats up the house too much..and the oven doesn't bake evenly anyway...

Emma Corrin 07-11-2010 05:25 AM

Lolol!
Then you totally deserve to splurge on milk and cookies right now since you'll be working it off soon anyways :3

Neither does our oven :(
And I don't bake for the same reason~
That's why I let my grandma do it :D
-she has an air-conditioner that cools the whole house too- <3

HappyStarr 07-11-2010 05:32 AM

Aww! Well....I don't really have anyone to ask to make cookies for me. >.> Soo...I have to either make them myself or buy them.

Emma Corrin 07-11-2010 05:34 AM

Aww :(
-snugs-
You could always wait for a rainy day and bake them?

HappyStarr 07-11-2010 05:36 AM

haha Perhaps. If it ever rainssss! D< We're apparently in a drought now. It's been so hot and un-rainy that all the snow we got over winter got entirely canceled out!

Emma Corrin 07-11-2010 05:37 AM

Hun, we were in a drought one day, and the VERY NEXT DAY we had a flood watch :P
It'll rain, just give it time ;) <3

HappyStarr 07-11-2010 05:45 AM

LOL That's pretty cool. It never rains where I am. Even if the entire rest of the county is rainy, we live under some sort of weather bubble. We can watch the satellite images disperse and come back together right around us. T_T I went to school just a few miles down the street from where I live, and I'd come out of class in the rain, and as I drove home, I'd hit the bubble and there'd be no more rain.

It rained this morning, apparently. But I missed it. Last time was a couple weeks ago, and it rained for ONE MINUTE and then just disappeared as if it never happened.

T_T I want a huge thunderstorm to roll through...and stay. For DAYS.

That's kinda hilarious, not going to lie XD
Was it all dry where the bubble was too?
Or was it kinda damp?
