There's a circus trivia thing? *out of the loop* Starr - Russian was one of the languages I wanted to learn, but I decided I'd rather focus on Japanese until I can speak fluently and everything, then find another. Best of luck with your learning! |
*peeks inside* Is anyone around?
|
@ Starr: Yup. I used to do those as well but I like to format my posts. XD
@ Cain: Hello~ |
8D I finished updating the first page because I am a good girl 8D
.____.; now to work on that freebie prize art >__>;; |
@ Mellie: Nice :3
Go mellie go~ you can do it! |
Russian is a beautiful language.
Hallo Cain. I'm not sure we've met before.... |
Hello, Usuri.
Hmm, I don't believe we've met either. Nice to meet you, Cardinal Biggles. |
A pleasure, I'm sure ^.^
|
haha ^_^" Don't feel hurried, by the way.
And, ya. I'm trying to focus on German first..but it's like...I'm already picking up other languages slowly anyway. I can read a small amount of spanish (VERY minimal--I just know how to read my stepmother's notes to the cleaning lady :ninja:) and I've picked up a very small amount of words from Japanese. Thing is, I just really like Languages. ^_^" If I have the chance, once I finish animation, I wanna study some linguistics just for the sake of my amusement. Honestly, I think it becomes much easier to understand (just understand) once you have the grammar cracked. Speaking comes with vocab. And Hello, Cain! |
Hello, HappyStarr.
Likewise... I suppose, Cardinal Biggles. *smiles* |
'Ello, Cain. How's your night going? ^_^ |
@ Cain: How are you :3
@ Starr: I want to learn a whole bunch of languages * 3 * ♥ |
I'd like to learn German after I master Japanese, I think. |
I've heard good things about the Rosetta Stone software as far as learning languages is concerned...
|
:3 *waves* Hello Cain~!
:O I'd love to learn lots of languages, and I've tried, I'm just really bad at memorizing things >__<; I don't think I remember anything from Spanish and barely anything from Japanese. . . my Chinese is mediocre. . . oh I'd love to learn German! and Korean too :D |
Oh, I bet you'll have no trouble once you've got Japanese down. German is so much closer to English. It's why I started with it. XD Well..that and I'm 1/4 German.
Usuri: Yaaa! We can do it! We'll be so multilingual the world will be like "Woah you're so cool" and bow down before our awesomeness. |
I learned/deduced how to say "I love you" in Korean from listening to Loveholic songs. I'm such a dork.
|
@ Yumeko: German seems really cool. I need to master Chinese and Japanese before I start on other languages though. I also really want to learn French and Korean. :3
@ Starr: Oh yea 8D |
I've also heard very good things about the Rosetta Stone software, but it's very expensive. It teaches you in the way that people are thought to learn best. It gives you the same lessons that you would have had as a child learning your first language, I've heard. Starr - I'm 1/4 German as well. ^_^ |
Hmm... maybe I should get Rosetta Stone then... :P
|
*waves back to MelonFairy* Hello.
I'm doing well, Usuri. Languages, hmm? I'm not very familiar with other human languages, I must admit. |
Cain, you like to go by Abel, don't you? *just remembered reading that somewhere* |
I've actually heard the opposite about it. My Vietnamese friend hates how they teach her language. And she spent a good 10 minutes talking with the lady at the cart in the mall about it and teaching her a few words.
XD I learned "I love you" in Korean..from my Korean friend. And "Refrigerator" >.<" |
I'm sure mastering one human language as you seem to have is enough, Abel.
Edit: I remembered just as I finished typing ._. |
@ Abel: That's good. :'D
I feel like you would be adept at languages if you tried learning them. |
