@ Biggles: I prefer to stay away from unnecessary cutting XD
|
Abel - Ah, fun fun. Seems like a very nice person to give you such good art! ^_^ I used to have gold contact that I'd wear to work sometimes and freak people out. It was awesome back then before Twilight came out and ruined everything... *sigh* |
@ Yumeko: Something sparkley?
Edit: nvm. more proof that my reading comprehension skills are dwindling away to nothing -sigh- |
Aww....stupid Twilight. It just kind of blew up out of nowhere, and now it's brainwashing helpless kids. T_T
|
@ Yumeko: nice xD
I want contacts now... |
I agree, Usuri, yet surely someone out there takes the effort. What's that phrase... "beauty is pain"? *snickers*
*raises an eyebrow* I think that's significantly more impractical, Cardinal Biggles. I suppose, Yumeko, but Omi seems a bit... off to me. |
Biggles - Nuuuu.... no sparkles. Vampires don't sparkle in the sun....they turn into bonfires. <3 Starr - No joke. I loved it when the books first came out, but then the fan girls found out about the movie and all the "OMG EDWARD'S LYKE SO HOT!!!!!" got on my nerves and I hate the thing now.... Although, I did pick up that new short book at Walmart tonight and read a little bit. It's much better than the series from what I read.... |
I live in Washington and I get questions like "Have you been to Forks?"
No one goes to Forks :talk2hand: |
@ Abel: I suppose so
@ Yumeko: I saw the graphic novel at a bookstore and it weirded me out... though everyone was better looking in that book |
Abel - Off how, if you don't mind my asking...? Beauty if definately pain....Those contacts ended up giving me an eye infection that nearly spread to my brain before I could convince my parents to drive me to the doctor. They were very cool looking, but not worth all the pain and cost of getting it all cleared up. ---------- Usuri - I haven't looked at those. I'm too annoyed with what the series has turned into. |
Yumeko: Oh goodness. My mum also wears contacts and she had a scare a few years back after leaving them in too long. She developed an ulcer and nearly lost the eye...
I stick with my good old four-eyes look... |
lol I wear contacts. Just regular contacts. But it's for vision. Got those instead of glasses, 'cause I needed my peripheral for Orchestra.
And yaa! I was alright with the books until the movies came out, too. I HATED their choice for Edward, and honestly...I don't see what the HUGE obsession is. I didn't even expect it to blow out of proportion like it has. But I DO wanna read the new book. I have something VERY personal against her killing off Bree. *cracks knuckles* |
Well, Yumeko, an usual interest in hand-touching, for one thing. *grimaces*
|
@ Yumeko: I just opened it for LOLs.
|
*lies on the floor and draws* :3 Gotta practice, practice, practice~~
|
@ Mellie: cute~
:3 |
Biggles - Yeah, that's what they were telling me, about the losing the eye. They said if I had waited even one more day, it could have spread and I would have been in big trouble. Starr - Oh yes. Edward needs to die. I found a really funny picture from Harry Potter of him laying there as Cedric after he was killed and Harry's over him with is wand crying or whatever. It says "Quick, Harry! Stab him through the heart before he begins to sparkle!" I laughed very hard and saved the picture. xD Abel - Ah, I see why that could be a bit bothersome. I don't like to be touched by anyone other than my love and close friends, so I understand that one very well. Usuri - Maybe I will one day, but I haven't gotten up the want yet. I do want to the the parody book I saw at the store a while back. I can't remember exactly what it was called, but it was Twilight retold with messed up versions of the names and made really dorky and funny. xD |
Well I've noticed a lot of people here seem to fall into the "touchy-feely" category, so I'm not really sure what should be considered out of the ordinary. *shrugs*
|
Oh yeah, I've heard of that book. It was re-written by a comedic website, as i recall...
|
Abel - True true. I wonder if they're all like that offline as well. Are you enjoying this event? Biggles - Do you remember the name of it? I saw it at Target, but I can't remember the title now. |
I must admit I don't, but I remember it having an apple core on the cover...
Hang on, Google here I come... |
Biggles - Yep, that's the one! ^_^ |
haha I've only seen the first movie. I went opening night with my friends, and I made it very clear that anyone who squealed at Edward was getting pelted. Amazingly, we got a cool theater where everyone agreed.
Abel: I ain't touchy-feely at all. XD There are some people I will straight up refuse to hug and I deem them worthy. >.> Exceptions are purely when someone's really upset. I hate it when people are sad. DX and I don't know if my contacts have anything to do with this, but my Retina is apparently swollen right now. Though, they said it's not too big of a deal. So I'm just tryin' to take it easy on my eyes. Getting some glasses soon, since I'm almost out of contacts, and I'll get more contacts after an appointment I'll make later... Oh, And there's a Parody Twilight movie: Vampires Suck. Looks mildly humorous..XD |
Touchy-feely?
>_> . . <_< . . *whistles and walks away* |
It's called "Nightlight"
