Hmm well I'm trying to enter in all three categories. According to the contest, the theme is humor. There is a drabble, a poem, and a short story.

I finished the poem one. It's an Ode to Afrodonkey. But someone did say they didn't get it, and honestly I don't know if it's all that funny. Poems aren't my strong suit. It's more of an attempt at tongue in cheek humor I think...

I haven't decided on the drabble or short story, my original idea for the drabble is turning out too long and I don't know where to cut it to reduce the word count. So I either turn that into short story and write a new drabble or I scrap the story and rewrite it.

Oh, sounds quite frustrating and time consuming Seito. Poems have always been something I'm good at, but I right them based off of my emotions at the time, so they are usually quite sad.

I've tried writing happy poems...and they just don't flow or work so well with me. Sad or upset...I can write with my eyes closed :sweat:

Imagination: Yup! I's a gypsy! I got to work on this is as soon as I heard about the event. >D Then added accessories as I earned money in the first couple days. And now it's super awesome, 'cause I'm on Team Gypsies for the Street Circus. bwahaha

And Seito: Wow! Sounds like some hard work! I've never been good at writing humor. Like...I can toss it in, but if I purposely set out to write something funny, it kind of flops. =/ I wish you luck, though!

Hmm well the term varies slightly depending on person to person. The most common meaning is a short story that is exactly 100 words long (hence my problem).

It's quite fun actually. xD I love writing and spend quite a bit of time writing fanfics (yes, I'm a fangirl nut), so this is a fun exercise since I haven't done any serious writing in awhile.

I've always struggle with poems. They always seem to lack whenever I write them. I can't get the words to flow right for myself.
