Nadya turned when she heard the door open behind her, tears streaming down her face and her eyes went wide when she saw D on the rooftop... but she had forgotten to stop running and ended up running into the rail and flipping over it... if it weren't for her hands grabbing ahold of the rail she would have fallen to her death. She stayed there... shocked... unable to think or do anything other than hold on with all her strength for the first thirty seconds before screaming out his name.

"D! Help me!!"

D looked up shocked hearing her and ran to the edge. "Nadya I am right here don't worry" he said and took her wrists. He pulled her up then went to a safer part of the roof. "Are you ok?" he asked looking at her worried. He whipped her tears and held her close not wanting her to fall. "Did I scare you into falling?" he asked quietly.

((The part I think I'm missing is I don't know if Joseph's Uncle/Father thing is dead or not... I think that's going to make my future posts vary a lot and I'd like to know before I really post anything else...))

Nadya clung to D like he was the last solid thing on the Earth...had he not been there to catch her... she might not have anything to cling to at all... the tears streaming down her face wouldn't stop and it was all she could do to repeat the same words over and over again to him through her sobbing breaths.

"I'm sorry... I'm so sorry..."

D's eyes came back to life and he smiled. He kissed her head. "It's ok. But why did you do that to me?" he asked wanting to know why she broke his heart like that. He had been so confused. "So you really do love me?" he whispered looking at her hopefully.

Helleina was shocked feeling Ethan's hand under her shirt but she let out a very soft moan. She couldn't believe how amazing this was. To be this close to Ethan and not really have to worry about anything but Ethan. She then started to undo his shirt wanting to know what it would be like to have nothing between them.

((No he isn't. Just really really hurt))

Nadya kissed him fiercely, winding her fingers through his hair and pressing as much of herself up against him as she could. "Of course I do... but it was the only way I could think of to save you." She shook her head and then remembered why she locked him in his room. "Leave... we have to leave... right now." She started to pull him away from the edge of the building and back down the stairs. "We're both in very real danger. I was going to kill him... and end this cycle... but by the time I got there it was too late... others had fought him and he somehow escaped."

D was so happy she still loved him. "Wait Nadya what are you talking about?" he asked stopping and pulling her back to him. "Nothing is going to happen to us. I promis you I will make sure nothing does" he said pulling her closer. "Let's just stay up here a little longer" he said picking her up and sitting down. "Now tell me what happened while I was stuck in my room" he siad smiling at her. Now that he knew she loved him really truly loved him he didn't want to let her go.

Elizabeth came out and walked over to Josephs side. She then wrapped her arm around him and kissed his cheek gently, "so what else does the outside world have to offer?" she asked as she looked up at him.

Isaac nodded," that is understandable." he said to her softly and kissed her head gently. He then was surprised when she asked what love felt like and looked at her, "well I think love is how strongly you feel towards someone. You feel like you have to do anything and everything to make sure that person is okay and to protect that person always. YOu feel like you always want to be with that person and never leave her. YOu just want to make her smile all the time and hear her laugh. That is what I think love feels like." he said as he looked at her.

Nadya felt her resolve crumble in his arms. She wanted to make him safe... but she felt so safe in his arms already... hadn't he managed to rescue her once already tonight. She wiped the tears away and took a few deep breaths into the front of his shirt. Finally more calm... she started to explain everything that happened. "Hatori did erase my memory before... but he was forced to. Things have been clicking bit by bit... they noticed me getting close to you even if I didn't... and always before we got too far to do anything about it... they erased my memory. Didn't you ever wonder why I'd suddenly go cold after spending so much time flirting with you?" She let him sit there and think about it for a minute before going on. "Joseph's father has been trying to do something with all the patients... if they start being cured... he kills them. I don't know what his ultimate goal is... but you and I are both in very real danger. The sooner we get out of this asylum the safer we will be."

D nodded listening to her. "I just thought that was just your time of the month" he said smiling at her. "but if we leave that could put us in more danger because he would think you quit and I was let out. If we stay here and be careful when we flirt then we will be fine" he said and kissed her head. He laid back and pulled her close to him. "You wont have your memories erased ever again." he whispered and kissed her lovingly. He couldn't believe she had gone to help but he was so glad she came back.

Joseph smiled. "Why don't we go get you some shoes" he offered smiling at her. "Or would you like to go look for jewelry?" he asked smiling at her.

Elizabeth smiled up at him, "I would love to get some shoes." she said and didn't remember really haveing shoes of her own. "then maybe we can get jewelry." she siad as she smiled up at him.

Joseph smiled and nodded. "Alright." he said and wrapped an arm around her. He walked to the shoe store and then looked at them. "What shoes would you like love?" he asked smiling at her.

Nadya bit the inside of her lip and looked at him full on in the face. He didn't understand the danger... she was scared. Almost senselessly so. More scared than she was on the streets when she was a child. She held him close and closed her eyes, praying that he knew what he was doing. She didn't look up... just asked her only real question in a very small voice. "But what if they've already seen us?"

Elizabeth looked around and soon saw some converse. "I like those." she said and saw a black and white pair. She smiled up at Joseph, "could I get some?" she asked.

D kissed her head. "I highly doubt it." he said and kissed her lovingly. "I am just so happy you love me" he said and stroked her cheek. "Why did you have to yell though?" he asked looking down at her. He was still confused about that.

Joseph smiled and nodded. "You can get any shoes you want" he said and kissed her head. "I should get a matching pair" he said chuckling. "I like those" he said then shook his head. "Any thing else?"

Elizabeth shook her head, "nope, those are the only ones I want." she said as hse looked at him. She then kissed his neck gnetly and smiled, "and thanks for getting them for me."

Joseph smiled and nodded. "Of course." he said smiling. "Are you sure you don't want to get heels to wear with that beautiful dress?" he asked and kissed her head. He was actually having fun shopping.

She looked up at D... "I had to make it believable... I had to make sure that more than just you heard me." She looked back down, shame in her eyes, face flushed with embarrassment. "It wouldn't have done any good hurting you if no one heard me do it. All it would have done was hurt you without guaranteeing that you would have been out from under their fire." She buried her face into his shirt again. "I would have done anything to keep you safe... even killed... I still will if it comes down to it."

D looked at her and raised her chin. "Why couldn't you have told me at least?" he asked and kissed her softly. "But please don't ever do it again. You torn mu heart out when you left." he said looking into her eyes. "I love you" he whispered and kissed her lovingly. He couldn't believe he was holding her and she was in love with him.

"If I told you... and they talked to you about it... I didn't know if you'd be able to hide the truth... it seems like we know so little about each other even though we've known each other for so long... " She shivered, the sun was setting and all she was in was her scrubs. "I just noticed but it's almost night... I'm going to need to get some sleep. Hatori... asked if I wanted a job transfer and that I should see him tomorrow to sign some paperwork. I don't know what the assignment is though. I'd really rather not be taken off detail of you until I know you've had your surgery... but if it's going to protect us from getting killed or losing our memories then we should."

Hatori smiled down at Amy and began kissing her passionately as he ran his hands down her sides and knew that tommorrow would be hell... But now only she mattered.

Ethan moaned and helped Hellenia take off his shirt and threw it to the floor. Getting a bit braver he bit her lip and began working her shirt off as well hoping to God it was going to be okay. He didn't want to make her do anything she didn't want to do.

Hana listened closely and looked into his eyes softly. "You've loved someone before... I can tell." she whispered and then got a horrible idea. What if he was in love right now? COuld he be cheating with her on someone? Could he be married? Worry ran threw her head. All she had known threw her life was betrayal and pain and that's all she could think of. The pain of just thinking it was emense and she held her head and closed her eyes. "You're... Not.... Cheating?" she asked bravely her voice shaking as she looked up at him needing for him to say it to her face.

Helleina's heart beat stopped as she saw his chest. She helped him with her shirt. SHe pressed herself closer to him and loved having nothing between them. She ran a hand threw his hair and pressed herself closer to him. She couldn't believe how wonderful it felt.

Amy smiled "I love you too Hatori" her body shivered against his touch, letting out a light moan as she wrapped her arms around his neck.
