Tomo smiled, knealt down and gave Ai a big hug "of course I'll be back. Why would I attempt to create a meal that pretends to look like food when I can have a delicious meal made by the two most important people in my life?" he asked and kissed Ai on the cheek. Then he stood up and planted a lingering yet quick kiss on Steven's lips "I'll see you both later, take care of yourself. Come get me if you need anything" he told them and walked away.

Ai smiled.After Tomo left Ai looked up at Steven."mommy...is Tomo my daddy now?"She asked.
Steven just giggled."You could say that yeah." Ai's face lit up."Lets get this shopping done so we can go make dinner for daddy!" Steven nodded."Alright we have decorations,invitation kit..what else do we need?" "Balloons!"Ai shouted. Steven then went with the color theme of the kit choosing about 10 balloons."How are these colors?"Steven asked Ai. "perfect!" "Alright lets buy all of this now."Steven went to the cashier and payed for everything.After that Steven and Ai went home. Once they were home steven put most of the stuff in the living room."Now what should we cook for dinner Ai?" |
Tomo was in his zone. He'd been doing this for 10 years. This has been his life. Now his life is dedicated to protecticting his family. He taught the class with the same rhythm that he normally did, then he headed over to the workout room to practice his moves. As he sparred with the air and other equipment, his mind wandered to his fight the night before. He'd been so scared that that man had seriously hurt Steven. He'd been scared that something was wrong with the baby... he'd been scared of a lot of things. But it's all over and it worked out rather nicely, he thought to himself.

"hm...how about chicken breast and salad with breadsticks?"Ai suggested.
"Sounds good lets get cooking!"Steven got out chicken breast and defrosted them in the microwave.Once they were defrosted Steven took them out of the bowl she had put them in and put them onto the counter putting seasoning on them. While steven did that Ai warmed the bread sticks up. i wonder when Tomo gets home. Steven thought in her head. |
After spending plenty of hours training (with classes mixed inbetween) it was time to head home. Home... is it really my home? he asked as he dabbed a towel on his face as he walked towards Steven's home. I haven't trained that hard in a while, he thought as he sipped some water.
After awhile he walked through the door of Steven's home "hey, something smells great, what is it?" he asked and headed to the kitchen. He was still pretty sweaty from him workout/walk here so he just leaned against the doorframe and watched Steven and Ai cook dinner. He smiled at them and finished off his water bottle. |
"Welcome Home!"Steven shouted.
"Tonight mommy and i are cooking chicken,salad and breadsticks!"Ai shouted cheerfully.While Ai waited for the bread to warm up,Ai washed the salad in the sink and put tomatoes,carrots,celery in it and mixed it all up.She then put it onto the table in the middle.Then the breadsticks were done and she set those in a bowl and set those onto the table as well. Steven put the chicken onto the grill and waiting for it to cook.She then walked over toward Tomo."And how was your day?"Steven asked Kissing Tomo on his lips. |
Tomo smiled and pulled Steven close "pretty good, it was very productive. In case you didn't notice, I worked up a nice, large sweat. Do you guys need anything? If not I think I'm going to just lay down or something" he asked, he was tired from his workout/walk here.

"Not at the moment.we'll tell you when Dinner is done."Steven said kissing his cheek and going back to the kitchen to flip the chicken on the other side.Once she did that she had to wait a few minutes.

Tomo stretched "alright, I'll be on the couch" he said and promptly crashed on the couch. Just as he did the previous night, he fell asleep as soon as he hit the couch. But this time the nightmare was back. Except it wasn't a memory. This time it included Steven and Ai. He was relitavely quiet, but if one was to look at him, you could tell he wasn't sleeping peacefully. It was like this every night. He would be mentally tormented. The only sweet exception was the night before, where he had the sweet memory of that kiss on my mind.

After a few minutes the chicken was done and steven put the 3 slices of chicken breast onto a plate and turned the grill off.She then handed it to Ai and Ai set it on the table.Steven then set the table.After she was done she put 3 glasses of the table.Ai's had orange juice,Steven's had water and Tomo's had milk in it.
After that Steven walked over to Tomo noticing he looked like he was having a nightmare.She knealt down to him and kissed his cheek."Wake up Tomo its dinner time sweety."She said in a sweet tone. |
Tomo jumped out of his nightmare, but was relieved to find Steven smiling at him. He placed his hand behind her head and pulled her closer to kiss her square on the lips. He smiled when he broke away "I love you... you save me from the darkest of nights" he whispered before sitting up and following Steven to the table "everything looks great! I can't wait to eat it" he said and sat down. He was used to the nightmares, even if this one was different than the others. They bothered him right after he slept, but as soon as he started to do something, they were ignored. This one was different, though. It still bothered him even though he was doing something. Yet at the same time, it wasn't an overpowering worry. He knew it was just a nightmare that he will probably never be truely rid of.

Steven smiled and kissed Tomo back."I hope you enjoy it."Steven said happily and sat next to Tomo.Ai began eating her food."Yummy!"She said happily.Steven then tried it and couldn't believe how good of a cook she was.

Tomo took a bite and smiled in delight "this is quite possibly one of the best meals I've had... in my entire life. The onther one was last night. Of course... that's not really saying much since what I eat just imitates food... But this is still the best tasting food ever!" he praised and took another bite, suddenly realizing just how hungry he was.

Steven smiled at Tomo."Im glad you like it."Steven said taking another bite of her food and drinking her water.Ai looked very happy.Tomo was now basically a father to Ai from her view.

"So, what did you two do while I was gone?" Tomo asked as he shovled more food into his mouth. "Did you have fun?" he inquired.

"We bought Ai's birthday decorations and invitation kit.And we pretty much went home and cooked dinner."Steven said with a chuckle."Ai wanted to hurry out of the store so we both could cook such a great meal for you when you got home."Steven said as Ai and Steven both took another bite of their food.

"Sounds like lots of fun. Thank you for the dinner, it was awesome and very delicious" Tomo said. he leaned over a planted a kiss on each of their cheeks "I'm so lucky, I have both of you in my life" he told them.

Steven smiled at Tomo."Your welcome."After both Steven,Ai and Tomo were done Steven stood up and took the plates and headed toward the sink and began to wash them.Steven was very happy she had Ai and Tomo in her life.

Tomo walked over to where Steven was and wrapped his arms around her waist "mmm... I've missed this. I don't know how I'll stand going back to the dojo tomorrow" he mumbled in her ear "do you need help with that?" he asked, placing a kiss on her neck followed by one right behind her ear.

Steven smiled when Tomo spoke to her how he didn't know how he would go to the dojo tomarrow.Steven blushed as she had felt Tomo's kisses on her neck and behind her ear."I think i've got it."Steven said with a giggle.Once she finished cleaning the dishes off she put them in the dishwasher then washed her hands.After she washed her hands she dried them."Ai sweety want you to get ready for bed."Ai nodded and raced up stairs.Steven thought Ai was so cute.
Once Ai was upstairs and getting ready for bed,Steven walked over to Tomo and lightly wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed Tomo's lips. |
Tomo immediately pulled Steven closer and wrapped his arms around her waist. he placed a hand on the back of her neck to support her head and intensified the kiss.

Steven continued to kiss Tomo deeply with passion.She deepened the kiss making it as passionate and as long as she and Tomo wanted it to be.She moved her hands down from his neck down toward his back while still kissing him.

After kissing for awhile Tomo simply held Steven close and rested his chin on her head. "I love you" he muttered. He sighed in contentment and closed his eyes "you're the only one that scares the dreams away" he whispered, barely able to be heard.

Steven stayed in Tomo's arms listening to every word he spoke."I love you too."Steven said looking up at Tomo and Hearing Tomo say she scares his nightmares away made her smile.Though if her true demon were to come out she would be the nightmare."You can sleep here in my room with me if you want to."Steven suggested.

Tomo blinked and stared at Steven, a dumbfounded look on his face. "Sorry... I just... thought that maybe I misheard... did you just invite me to sleep in your bed tonight?" he asked.
