Tomo watched Steven who seemed to be going through a contraction. He placed his hand around her waist and pulled her close. He kissed her head and listened to her, ready to do something if she needed help.

Steven yelped a bit."It hurts."Steven said as she opened her eyes a bit.Steven could tell that the baby was trying to get out now.It hurt so bad that steven closed her eyes and began to cry a bit."Ow...i think the baby is trying to get out!"Steven said with a yelp.

Tomo sat straight up "are you sure? it's too soon. Um... ok, let's get you to the hospital I guess" he said, his mind reeling/panicking. He looked at Steven "ok, just um... breathe deep or something. That helped last time" Tomo offered as he breathed deep himself.

"I need you to get Ai."Steven instructed to Tomo as she tried sitting up.She tried taking deep breathes hoping that would help but it seemed like it kept hurting.it has to be too soon Steven thought in her head.

Tomo nodded, kissed Steven quickly and rushed to Ai's room. He rushed in and woke her up "wake up, the baby's coming" he told her. He all out picked her up and carried her back to Steven's room "How are you doing?" he asked, sitting down next to Steven. Ai was half asleep in his lap.

When Tomo told Ai the baby was comming Ai was still have asleep.She just let Tomo carry her.
Steven was breathing a bit heavily."It hurts."Steven said trying not to scream.Steven was in very much a lot of pain."We need to go to the hospital now.We can take Maria's car."Steven said keeping her hands onto her stomache. |
Tomo swallowed, he could hardly drive. When one grows up the streets, you don't really learn how to drive. Nevertheless, he nodded and helped Steven to the car. "Just breathe, it'll be alright" he said and stumbled through starting the car and driving to the hospital.
Once they got to the hospital he rushed through everything nervously. "Everything will be alright" he told her, still holding Ai. |
Once they were inside the building one of the nurses automatically knew that her water must've broken.The nursed rushed over to steven and set her down in a wheelchair."I will go get the doctor."The nurse said and rushed to one of the nearest doctor explaining steven was going to have her baby.
The nurse then strolled Steven into an empty room and helped steven onto the bed."The doctor will be here in a second." |
Tomo, as much as he wanted to be with Steven at the moment, knew that he needed to stay with Ai, so he sat in one of the chairs and held her sleeping form on his lap. Everything's going to be alright, Tomo. The baby has a strong mother, it'll be alright. Everything will be just fine, he chanted to himself to help him calm down. He breathed deep to calm his nerves and petted Ai's hair. He bent down and kissed her head "You're going to be a big sister" he whispered to her.

While Tomo was with Ai Steven had received directions from the doctor that she would have to wait since she wasn't very much dialated so she wasn't in too much pain.i hope this doesn't take days...when i had Ai i had to wait about 48 hours.

Tomo was fidgeting all over the place. He fought to keep his breathing under control and closed his eyes. Breathe... just breathe... it'll be alright. Everything will be alright. They're going to be just fine, he thought to himself. He placed a kiss on Ai's head how can you sleep through all of this? he asked her in his head.

A few hours later Steven was finally dialated enough and she was soon giving birth though you could hear her screaming from the pain.it hurts. Steven suddenly her heart beat was slowing down which made the doctors give her medicine to make her go to sleep as they put an oxygen mask onto her nose and mouth to keep her breathing while they get the baby out of her.
Once they got the baby out Tomo and Ai could hear a cry from the baby in the delivery room.The two doctors soon came out to Tomo holding the baby."The birth was a success though your wife had trouble breathing when she was giving birth but for now she is resting." The other doctor walked beside the other docor who held a baby."We almost thought this one was dead until she cried."He said with a smile.Steven had actually had twins! |
Tomo swallowed and stood up "are they alright, is she alright?" he asked, he was so scared that something went wrong. His eyes fixated on the tiny baby in the other doctor's arms. He held his arms out "may I?" he asked as he looked at her. That's when it occurred to him, they thought Steven was his wife. Let them, it's close enough to the truth, he thought.

The doctor carefully handed the baby to Tomo."She is perfectly fine she just mostly needs rest.And since she is sick it was hard to give birth to twins because her illness makes her have difficulty with breathing."The doctor explained.While the doctor and Tomo talked Ai woke up and seeing the two twins.

Tomo smiled and knelt down so that Ai could see the baby he was holding "yeah, Ai, you're a big sister. What do you think of your baby sister?" he asked, a smile gracing his face.

Ai looked at her baby sister."She is so cute.Where is mommy?"Ai asked with a smile.The other doctor with the other twin in his arms spoke."You can see your wife if you'd like to.She should be waking up soon."

Tomo looked at the doctor, smiled and nodded his agreement. He turned to Ai "come on, Ai, let's go see mommy" he told her, cradeling the baby in his arms. He waited until Ai stood up and then headed into the room to see Steven. He sat in a chair next to the bed and looked at Steven. He then looked at Ai and the little baby and smiled "your mother is simply amazing" he told them, then focused his attention on the baby "and you, little one, are a tough one. So strong at such a young age. You two really had me scared there... you came early. But I'm really glad everything came through. I can't wait to get to know you two better" he told the baby. The baby was sleeping peacefully, causing Tomo to smile and kiss the baby's head for the first time.

Ai stood up and went to Steven's room.Ai could tell Steven was sleeping.Steven still had the mask on her nose and mouth to help her breath if she couldn't breath.The doctor with the other twin set her down in the baby bed next to steven's bed."If you need anything at all just push the call button."He said with a smile and left closing the door gently behind him to leave the family alone.

Tomo smiled and gently bounced the baby he was holding. He reached over and picked Ai up with one arm and set her on his lap "Do you want to hold her?" Tomo asked Ai, referring to the baby. "I'll help you if you want to" he told her. He smiled and looked at Steven, his gaze softned. "Ai... I think you're mom's superwoman or something. She can do everything, it seems" he said softly. He grabbed Steven's hand and kissed it, then focused his attention back to the two girls in his arms.

Ai smiled."Yeah i wanna hold her.Can you help me?"Ai asked with a smile.When Tomo said all those nice things about her mother she smiled greatly."My mom is the best mom i could ask her.If my mom was someone else i wouldn't like her as much as i like my real mom."

Tomo smiled and helped Ai hold her sister. "Careful with her, Ai, she's very fragile right now" he cautioned. He smiled down at the sleeping baby and her sister, then he looked over at the baby bed where their brother was sleeping. He smiled and turned his head to Steven and he squeezed her hand gently. |
Ai carefully held her and held onto her.She thought she was so cute."She has really soft looking skin..like mommy does."Ai said with a giggle.The Baby girl smiled up at Ai and cuddled into her a bit.
The baby boy began to fuss as he wanted to be held.Steven was still sleeping peacefully.Though she could feel Tomo squeezing her hand.After an hour or two Steven began to wake up seeing Tomo and Ai and her two twins. |
Tomo was holding the baby boy while helping Ai hold the girl. He noticed Steven began to wake up and he smiled. He looked over at her and smiled as he gently bounced the baby boy "there's the mother of the hour. How are you feeling?" he asked her, reaching over and brushing a strand of hair away from her face.

"I feel soar."Steven said feeling like she couldn't even move a single muscle in her body.When she saw the twins she had no idea she would have twins."i had twins instead of just one?"Steven asked with a bit of a chuckle.
Ai walked over to her mom with the baby girl."Mommy do you want to hold her?" "Sure."Ai carefully handed steven the baby girl twin and steven held onto her in her arms gently rocking her. |
Tomo smiled and brushed Steven's hair as he gently bounced the baby in his arms to sleep. "What do you want to name them?" he asked. I almost said "we" I must be fueled by the doctor's comment about Steven being my wife. But she's not, We just barely started going out, I don't have the right to name them without her permission, Tomo thought.
