Belle just grinned. She could do it if she wanted to. It would take time, sure, but she could do it.
"We'll see how things work out." |
"You do that," Andy said. She grinned. "While you're busy with that, I'll be running around the glow-in-the-dark territory poking anything that won't poke me back."
Belle snickered. "Yeah, good luck figuring that one out," she said with a grin. "I can't wait for you to poke something on accident and it pokes back."
Andy grinned.
"That'll happen too," she said. "But I have a pretty good idea what won't poke me back. And the whole place lights up, it'll be amazing." |
"Oh I know. I loved that movie. I'll definitely go wander around in there for a while at least. It's too pretty not to."
"Agreed," Andy replied. "Very pretty and very technologically advanced. There's practically something there for everyone."
"Pretty much." Belle paused for a moment. "Unless, of course, someone has eyes only for certain sparkly fairies that claim to be vampires."
Andy blinked.
"Yeah, no," she said. "Glow in the dark? Yes. Sparkly aggressive fairies, I think not," she said. She grinned. "That's what the neurotoxin arrows are for." |
Belle snorted and shook her head. "Yeah, I'm good without. I think I'll stick to my Assassins."
"Neurotoxin arrows, poison blades, same result," Andy said, shrugging. She snickered. "And I'd love to see one of them try to blend in on Pandora, that would be amazing."
"Altair could. He would freak out first, but give him a few days and I bet you he'd be able to blend in," Belle said with a grin. "Ezio probably would be able to, but Altair is better. Well. Okay, Altair is a better Assassin. Ezio is a better person."
"They don't glow and they're not ten feet tall or blue," Andy pointed out. "So that already gives them limited places to try to hide."
"True, but they could still get around without being seen. Being smaller also gives them the advantage of having more places to hide." Belle grinned briefly.
"I wouldn't put my money on them in a fight in Pandora, though." |
Andy snorted.
"Neither would I," she replied. "Though you know they'd have fun in the lower gravity and denser air." |
"Oh yes. Yes they would. And I hope you know eventually we're going to have to make our way over there." Belle just grinned.
"Of course," Andy replied. She grinned. "I have a green mage to set free on the glowing plants, a weather mage to analyze the effects of denser air on wind patterns, and a giant cat to tease with glowing things." She snickered a bit. "It's going to be great."
"Oh yes. Yes indeed." Belle grinned. She could just see half of her guys flipping out a little when they got there. It would be so fun.
"In the meantime, do we want anyone else from this area?" Andy asked. Personally, she was all set for the moment, but Belle tended to be more outgoing with her choices than Andy was.
"Unless we happen across a shiny Robin, I don't think so. I'm ready to head out to wherever." Belle shrugged.
"That may not be as hard as it sounds," Andy mused. With the right kind of 'bait'... She thought for a moment, going over the information she'd absorbed from the books. She looked at Belle. "Teaser is blonde."
Belle snickered. "He wouldn't be averse, either." Then she paused. "You realize that means we'd have two of them in the group, yes?"
"Hey, we'd probably be the only group that could boast two shinies for a while," Andy pointed out. "Especially caught so close together. The odds of that are outrageous, going by the original shiny parameters."
"Three shinies, if you count Mouse." Belle grinned. "And that would be an excellent thing to boast. It would be freaking amazing."
"Weird as hell, but amazing," Andy agreed. She blinked when a thought crossed her mind, and she bit her lip. "Hey, Belle... Shinies sparkle when they appear out of their balls, right? Keyword there being 'sparkle.' So... would Twilight shinies blind people?" She already figured she didn't want to see a shiny of any sort of vampire, because that would just be wrong in so many ways. But it was kind of an interesting point, given the sudden appearance rate of shinies.
Belle started laughing. "Probably," she agreed with a grin. "They already sparkle, so they'd have like disco lights when they came out of their balls, or something." And that thought was just too amusing. Belle snickered again.
