Andy grinned a bit when Seth jumped. She could hear Kaelas clearly, since she was his trainer, but it was obvious that Seth hadn't expected it.
"I told you he could talk," she reminded him. She could hear the deep rumbling rumbling from Kaelas. The massive cat was purring. |
"I wasn't expecting Jedi mind tricks," Seth muttered, continuing to brush him out. He grinned at the purring and continued, gently working out a burr.
"So if I said he can turn invisible and walk on thin air?" Andy asked. He could, but that was beside the point. She grinned. "You know, I bet if we looked hard enough, we could find some Jedi around here."
"Now that would be epic." Seth grinned idea. "I want a Quai-gon Jin or an Obi-won Kanobi."
"I've heard Qui-Gons lack a sense of humor," Andy said. "It would be interesting to see, at least. Especially with how eclectic our group is becoming."
"Yea really. I think we've got a little of all the big groups." Seth shook his head.
"Pretty much," Andy agreed. Her gaze was drawn to one of the little white crabs as it scuttled by. "I've got to get used to seeing those things around."
Seth chuckled. "Well, just don't lick one."
Belle couldn't help but giggle at that. |
Andy couldn't help but giggle.
"At least we don't have any peanuts to fight over," she added. |
"I think I have enough peanuts to go around." Belle grinned. "Although that would be cool. If a bunch of people with Jacks all got together and made that scene all over again."
"That would be kind of trippy," Andy said. "And really weird."
"Well definitely but it also has huge potential for infinite entertainment." Belle grinned. "Okay, one of us needs to get a Jack now."
"I'll leave that one to you," Andy said, grinning. "Not my thing."
"Can you imagine all the trouble he and Norrington would get into? I mean, they'd be fighting all the time." Belle grimaced at the thought.
"But he wouldn't belong to me, thus making him not my problem," Andy pointed out teasingly. "I can totally see it getting to the point where we would have to have the dragons each restrain one of them, though."
Belle laughed and nodded. "Yeah, I can see that. Quite easily." She shook her head a little. "Well, we'll just have to make Seth get him then."
Andy grinned.
"You've just been volunteered, Seth," she said. |
"Great. Gee, thanks." Seth rolled his eyes. "I don't think Jack Sparrow would get along very well with either of mine. Olivia is too practical to get along with someone like him."
"You mean a genius scatter-brained idiot?" "Yes." "Except for Walter," Olivia interjected. |
"This is about the point I fall out of the conversation," Andy said.
"Don't worry about it," Belle said. "I'll get a copy of Fringe somewhere and show you the first season."
"I tried watching it once," Andy said. "It didn't really catch my attention. I gravitated way closer to Warehouse 13 and Moonlight."
"Yeah. Oh well. I have no idea what you're talking about when you refer to Warehouse 13 so it all works out." Belle shrugged.
Andy grinned and sighed.
"I love Warehouse," she said. "It's like the perfect mix of life and sci-fi, with an abstract history lesson thrown in there." |
"Supernatural is the best. I mean, two hott guys and a bunch of mythology stuff."
"I never had time to try to get into Supernatural," Andy said. "I would have loved to, since it seems like just my kind of poison, but I could never really find it on TV."
