Belle shrugged, just as confused as Andy. She looked over at Eclipse as he walked over, pulling her to her feet and helping her clean up.

Andy was still terribly confused.

"Kaelas," she said to the cat after a moment, "you're male. What just happened?"

Kaelas looked almost thoughtful for a moment before shaking his head.

*Not my place to say,* he replied.

"I'm sure we'll find out eventually," Belle offered, finishing up the dishes.

"Probably," Andy agreed as she helped clean up the dishes.

Belle shrugged and put the dishes away. "Well, shall we turn in for the night?"

"Sounds good to me," Andy replied. Absently, she glanced around at her group.

Belle nodded and set up Lucifer's room for her use, going in and taking over the bed. "Night all!"

Oddly, Andy wasn't tired immediately, so she sat up and watched the stars for a while after everyone went to bed. She wasn't sure if anyone else was still awake, but she made sure not to disturb anyone. She didn't notice that Sesshoumaru was still awake as well.

Belle spent a while reading, trying to finish the first Black Jewels book before she went to sleep.

Andy stayed up for a little while longer. She thought she was the only one awake, until Sesshoumaru came up next to her and sat down. She jumped slightly, but relaxed when she realized it was him.

"You should be asleep," he said softly to her.

"Not tired," she replied. She squeaked in surprise when he reached over and pulled her closer to him, but didn't say anything. He'd earned the 24 free hours, after all, and really, she couldn't say she didn't enjoy it. "What are you still doing up?"

"Keeping an eye on you."

"I don't need to be kept an eye on," Andy protested. She would have said something else, but she completely lost her train of thought when he leaned over slightly and kissed her. The kiss was brief, and he pulled away quickly. Andy blinked and tried to regain her train of thought. "...You were planning that the whole time," she accused after a moment, blushing brightly.

"And if I was?" he asked. Andy paused for a moment.

"...Do it again."

Eclipse sat down next to her, quirking an eyebrow at her little giggles and noises she made while reading. She just shrugged eloquently and went back to reading.

The two outside stayed up for a while longer, until Andy eventually fell asleep on Sesshoumaru's shoulder. Lifting her up gently, he took her back to her bed and laid her down before settling next to her.

The next morning Belle was eager to go. They were supposed to reach the Anne Bishop areas in the next few days.

Andy was eager to get going, as well. She wanted to see what other characters they would trip over, even though she probably wouldn't catch any for herself.

Every time she happened to glance at Sesshoumaru, she blushed a bit and looked away quickly. It happened fairly often.

Belle grinned as she caught on but stayed silent for the time being.

Andy noticed Belle's grin.

"I saw that look," she said. "What are you grinning about?"

"Nothing of import," Belle said with a grin. "Don't worry about it." She finished packing up and started walking.

"Liar," Andy accused, albeit teasingly.

Belle chuckled and shook her head, stretching out and walking.

"You're no fun," Andy said, rolling her eyes. Taking out her gear, she checked the map. "We should be crossing into Anne Bishop Land fairly soon, I think."

"Awesome." Belle grinned, rather evilly. "I can tell this will be very entertaining."

"Oh yeah, this should be good," Andy agreed.

Belle grinned and took her time, in a more lazy mood today. She'd find the bishis she wanted eventually. And then she'd really have hell to deal with.

Andy was oddly pleased about being in the Anne Bishop territories. This was an area where she knew what she was doing and wouldn't be horribly lost when it came to people.

Belle stayed calm when they got to the territories. She'd have her fangirl attack later.
