"It gets easier to deal with it," Lucivar said. "It could be worse. At least neither of them are insane fangirls."
"I suppose." Daemon kept his voice neutral. He paused when Dejaal nudged Belle before bounding off to go find food again.
"Just think about it for a bit," Lucivar replied. He grinned a bit. "And watch out for Andy's dragons, one of them is a bit chatty."
Daemon snorted. "I am not worried about that. You know I have dealt with more chatty beings."
Lucivar snorted.
"The Scelties are chatty, aren't they?" he replied. He grinned. "At least there aren't any here." |
"Yet," Daemon replied dryly. "It wouldn't surprise me in the least to see one of them get a Ladvarian."
"It wouldn't surprise me either," Lucivar replied. "Andy said she isn't going to actively look for anyone else, but you never know who she's going to find anyways..." He shrugged. "I don't mind belonging to her, really. It could be worse. I don't know about Belle, though."
"Your confidence is inspiring," Daemon said sarcastically. "From what I've heard, I have a possibly psycho touchy-feely trainer."
"I thought you could handle anything," Lucivar pointed out, almost with a straight face. "Really, she's not all that bad, I don't think. Not psycho, at any rate."
"I could certainly handle her. The only question is how much coercion will be required."
"Coercion?" Lucivar repeated, raising an eyebrow.
Daemon merely smirked, knowing Lucivar would know exactly what he meant.
Lucivar just rolled his eyes.
"You'd get along with Thomas," he replied. |
"Again, who is this Thomas and when am I going to meet him?" Daemon cocked an eyebrow.
Lucivar chuckled.
"He isn't out here right now," he replied. "You'd know if he was. He reacted a bit loudly to Dejaal." |
Daemon snorted. "Good to know. I'll keep an eye out for him."
"Black hair, pale eyes... You'll know," Lucivar replied. "Give him a few more minutes, he'll show up."
Daemon nodded after a moment, settling back to wait.
Sure enough, a couple minutes later, Thomas emerged, sauntering over to Belle before he spotted Daemon and paused. The two exchanged looks, sizing each other up, before Thomas grinned widely. "Well, this will be fun." |
Andy watched what happened, and shook her head.
"This can't be good," she said. |
"Porbably not," Belle agreed. "You two behave. Don't do anything with each other or to each other or any variation thereof. Just stay on opposite sides of camp."
Thomas grinned but obeyed for the moment. |
"And you want to throw a Sebastian into that mix?" Andy asked her. She paused. "I'm not sure whether to classify that as a Bad Idea, or sell tickets."
"I think I should sell tickets," Belle said, bemused.
"And you know, if they all had short hair, it would be hard to tell them apart if you just glanced at them," Andy commented. She shook her head. "I'm not sure whether or not it's a good thing to have them all in the same place."
"It's probably going to be a bad thing but I'm going to do it anyway." Belle grinned.
Eclipse sighed and shook his head at her idiocy. |
"I'm not surprised," Andy replied. "You also thought it was a good idea to get a Daemon in the first place."
