What are your favorite and least favorite animals?

If you want, you can tell me why or why not you like the animal(s), too! (:

I guess I'll start, my favorite animal is probably an elephant, or a giraffe!

I don't have many least favorite animals, but I don't particularly favor snakes or certain types of fish.

Hrm.. I like owls and weird seabirds, I think. Wild horses. And kitties.

I can't think of an animal that I particularly dislike right now.

What types of fish don't you like, Sidhe?

Weeellll, I don't like scary things, like salmon.
Because they have scary mouthareas.
(its not another david bowie wedgie, i promise.)

I don't like wiggly fish that touch you while you're in the water, either. :gonk:

I like elephants because I like them, and they're wrinkly. :3

Giraffes are tall.

I love elephants and manatees more than anything. I like sparrows, owls, hawks, falcons, and ravens, though I'm not fond of birds in general.

I hate fish, amphibians, and many types of reptiles, but not all reptiles.

I like Tigers. And dragons ('cause I believe!) Ummmm...ya. Tigers are my most favoritetest (if you don't count the dragons), followed by: Leopards, Jaguars, Platypuses, Koala, Polar Bears, Owls, Eagles, Horses, Foxes (especially the Fennec fox, so cute!), Cheetahs, Huskies, Meerkats, Margay Cat, and...uhh...uhh.......I'm sure there are more. ^_^ The list is in no particular order, though (though you might try moving the wild cats to the front)

Basically, if it's cute and pretty and/or can kill you...it's my favorite...? XD

I agree on that fish thing, though. That thing's freakish. I'm also not too fond of cows, Chihuahuas (they're reallyyy annoying...and Naaasty), and Apes ('cause they stank....they're actually more in between on me...but they stink...like my brother..DX).

Hmm, I love dogs! X3 Dogs of any kind. They make great pets and best of all, they make their owners happy. =]

For least favorite, I'm going to go with insects of all sorts. Especially mosquitoes. D< They're useless things that shouldn't be alive. D< Well...I guess they're not useless to the animals that eat them but you get the point. ><

Oh, I also really like pandas, polar bears, and penguins. =D

Dragons and Tigers are opposite of each other zodiac wise. are an conflicted person? Like always in between?

I like Tigers. My chinese zodiac animal is the Tiger, and this is the year of the Tiger!

LOL I like them because they're both beautiful and powerful. Very majestic beings.

I'm actually a horse.

lol I forgot insects and bugs even counted as animals. ^_^" Silly me... I'm actually alright with spiders, caterpillars, and roly polies... but I REALLY HATE WASPS. D<

I love cats, reptiles, and fish. I have an unnatural obsession with fish and reptiles. O.o

I would have to say that my least favorite animal are humans.

I really am obsessed with tigers. They are so adorable, omg, especially the white tiger, well Siberian tiger to be exact. I'm obsessed with them because I take/grew up with my dad's liking to them, so it makes me have some satisfying motivation to like the same things as my parents. Another reason why would be I have about 20 stuff animals of them.. Sad enough, I rather not give any of them away, but I may just to have space and able to make some other younger child have a stuff tiger. :"D

I'm also a fan of Husky and German shepherd dogs. I can't really stand any other dog, unless they are a mix of those two breeds. I'm not sure why I love them; I'll probably say because of the K-9 movies.

Frogs are pretty awesome too, since they can be rainbow and go "Ribbet!" I have no other reason to like them. Hm, I also like other big cats such as jaguars, cheetahs, and lions. Don't forget, panthers and leopards. Wolves, Bears, Foxes, Pandas, Penguins, and Iguanas are also a favorite.

I'm not sure what I actually hate, besides orangutans, insects, caterpillars, snakes, mosquitoes, monkeys, primates(I know we class under them...), elephants, and mooses.

Hmm, I have a lot of favorite animals and not a lot of least favorites! Favorites right now:

Octopi: They are incredibly intelligent creatures. For those who have them, they have to keep them entertained by things like hiding their food in a box or jar so the octopus can figure out how to get their food out. They also look really cool. I really want to know what their tentacles feel like holding onto an arm or finger!

Fennec foxes: Because... just LOOK at that picture!

Naked mole rats: So ugly they're cute! Also, I went to a science center where they had a large naked mole rat exhibit. This is where I started liking them, because they are SO funny! They keep busybusybusy like ants and crawl up their tunnels backwards and all over one another. They'll try to carry large pieces of food and such around in the tunnels, and the food will sometimes get stuck because it's too large, and they're just hilarious to watch as they try to get the food unstuck.

Bats: Because secretly I like to pretend they are vampires (shhhhh...) Really, I just think they're interesting critters. I'd want one as a pet but they don't make good pets :( What's super cool is that at our new apartment complex, right outside of our porch, there are two or three bats who come out once the sun has come down. They fly so erratically! Also, I went camping one time and the bat was attracted to our campfire. he came by REALLY close to us; it was SO cool!

I know there are more but that's all I can think of right now.

Least favorite:

Cockroaches- UGH. These are just SO nasty.

Centipedes and Millipedes- I'm with Sefirosu on these things. Every time I see pictures of them or see them in person, all I can think about is how awful it would feel to have them crawling on me. *shudders*

@Tezonic: Why do you hate moose? I've never seen one but really want to. They're huge animals aren't they?

Oh my goodness....The Giant Octopus at the DC National Zoo XDDDD I watched it for a good 10+ minutes as it tried to get a ball through the tiny space between the "land" and the glass. Most. Stubborn. Animal. Ever. The next time I went, about a month or two later, they'd taken the ball away and I think moved the land...XD

Animals like horses and moose scare me. :gonk:

my favorite animal is an Octopus!!!! all cephalopods are pretty cool, but the octopus is my favorite! i <3 them alot ^^ they're just so amazing and my room is filled with them, actually XD

@Rain: I think Cuttlefish are kind of cool. Does that count? XD
