Suddenly when Evan had hugged him and told him never to risk his life again, he smiled softly and slowly began to wrap his own arms around her. Just being in her arms and knowing the battle was over, his demon was exhausted as he let his human form take over once more. He closed his eyes and hugged her closely to himself as well. "I...I'm sorry..Evan..I promise..I wont do that again." He said as he kept smiling at the thought that they had both survived.

She hugged him tightly."We should go home now wouldn't you say?You look really tired."She said helping Hikako up.She put his arm onto her shoulders and had her arm around his waist and began walking slowly and out of the building they were in and towards the path towards their house.

After they had both left the old house, Hikako kept one of his arms over Evan's shoulder for support so that he wouldnt collaspe to the ground unconcious again. Most of the time when they were walking home, he frowned deeply staring down at the floor. "Evan...I..I'm sorry...for making you go through all of this.." he said weakly trying to stay concious.

"its okay.Im fine."She said with a smile.When they arrived home Evan opened the door and stepped in with Hikako closing the door with her foot then she headed upstairs slowly.Once they got upstairs and into her room she gently layed him down on the bed."sleep well okay?Are you hungry for anything?"she asked.

Hearing that it was fine to her that Evan had to go through all this pain because of Hikako, he kept frowning as he didnt look over at her at all. He felt too ashamed that this had all happened. When they had reached her house and went into her room, he slowly laid down with Evan's help as he stared over at her trying to smile. ""No...I'm okay...I..I'm just really tired." he said still weakly as he closed his eyes trying to fall asleep.

"Okay."Evan said quietly and layed down next to him.She was a bit concerned about Hikako.She turned the lights off and looked over at the window looking at the moon and how bright and beautiful it looked.It made her feel calm somehow.She put her hand onto her stomache..rubbing it softly and falling asleep.

Hikako had no idea that Evan had decided to lay down next to him as he kept his eyes closed and tried to fall asleep. Soon after two minutes had passed, he immediatly fell asleep and began to dream. This time though, his dreams were filled with horror as he saw himself killing both his brother and mother with a grin on his face. No...no!...he thought as he began to twist and turn on the bed from the horrible dream.

Evan woke up seeing how he was tossing and turning.She then gently shook his shoulders."Hikako....?"she asked hoping he wouldn't shove her away roughly.If he did she would probably hit her head onto the corner of the nightstand with the lamp on it.

Feeling Evan shaking his shoulder, Hikako began groaning as he kept twisting and turning on the bed. He hadnt known that it was Evan shaking him, he had thought it was someone within his dreams just trying to kill him. Like his dead mother, or dead brother.

Evan shook his shoulders a bit more."Hikako...Hikako wake up!"She said feeling a bit worried.She was worried about Hikako.She didn't like how he was tossing and turning a lot.She knew he was having a nightmare.But she worried about him no matter what really because she doesn't want to loose him.

After being shook by his shoulder even more, Hikako quickly sat up breathing heavily and sweating. "Wh..what happened?" he asked quickly, looking around the room in fear that the nightmare was real, he glanced over at Evan still in a little shock. "Evan?..wh..what happened?"

"You had a nightmare."she said.Evan got up off of the bed getting a cold wet cloth and wiping the sweat off his forhead,cheeks and neck trying to cool him down a bit."Are you okay Hikako?"she asked looking very concerned as she cooled his body off a bit.As she cooled his body down with the wet cold cloth she frowned and her hand trembled.She was obviously worried.

Hearing that he had gotten a nightmare, Hikako gave a little sigh of relief as he began to slowly control his own breathing. "Oh...okay." he said as when Evan came back with the cold wet cloth and began wiping him, he shivered a little from the cold feeling and looked at her with a little frown as well. "Evan...dont worry...I'm fine.." he said seeing as how she was frowning as well, gave him a little bit of an uncomfortable feeling.

"i worry because i care."she told him as she put the cloth onto her nightstand.She put her hand onto both of his cheeks."Hikako....if something is bothering you...you can tell me.I wont hate you or get mad at you or anything."Evan said as she had a deep concern expression on her face and even in her eyes.

Hikako slowly wrapped his own arms around Evan's body as he looked into her eyes with a soft smile. "I knew you always cared though, Evan." he said with a whisper as he hugged her close and looked down at the floor hearing that she wanted to know what happened in his nightmare basically. "Its just...I saw....my mother...and brother...trying to kill me.."

When she heard about his dream she looked up at him.Though in the subject about killing she was unsure if Hikako even know she killed his brother."im sorry...soon enough these nightmares will dissapear."she said meaning about their life will be full of happiness because of the wedding and the baby."I have a question Hikako...about the wedding.."she asked.

Hearing Evan tell him the dreams would soon disappear, Hikako kept his own arms around her, hugging her closely. Hoping that she was right, he hated that dream, this was the first time he had ever gotten a dream like that, and he never wanted to have it again. When he heard that she wanted to ask something about the wedding, he tilted his head with a smile. "Hmm?...what is it?"

"would we be getting married when my stomache is big?"she asked."i know its weird to ask but i thought it would be cute.Would you be okay with that though Hikako?"she asked looking up at him with a cheerful smile on her face.She hugged Hikako tightly."i think wearing my wedding dress while my stomache is big would be very cute."

"Hmmm....if thats what you want Evan. Than sure." Hikako said with a smile as he kept hugging her close and gave her a gentle kiss onto her forehead. "True, that would look very cute indeed. So why not? Lets do that." he said slowly taking one arm away from around her waist and placing his hand onto her stomach.

Evan placed her hand onto his hand that was on her stomache and smiled at him.She had continued and still felt the guppy feeling.She was unsure if Hikako felt it though too.
"Well Then its decided."she said and kissing Hikako onto his cheek.She smiled happily at him. [should we do a timeskip to a few months into the future?] |

After about 8 months had passed and Evan's stomach and grown a lot larger, Hikako was sitting in the living room writing down some names for invitations to the wedding that was going to probably be in a few days. After living together for so long, they had both made friends around the town so he just thought it'd be nice to invite them to the wedding. |
Evan was currently in their room reading.She was wearing a long yellow dress with a white undershirt that had long sleeves.Between when she would be reading she would feel a kick or two.Whenever the baby did kick she slightly chuckled.Sometimes the kicks hurt bur right now they were somewhat soothing while she read her book.

Once Hikako had finally finished writing out the last of the invitations, he left a large pile of envolpes on the side of the table as the pile seemed to be stacked almost to his waist. With a sigh of relief for finishing, he stood up stretched his arms out, yawning. "Damn...finally done." he said with another yawn as he rubbed his eyes trying to make sure he stayed awake. It was around midnight and Hikako still hadnt gotten any sleep since he was working on these invitations all day basically. He left the envolpes on the side of the table and dragged himself over to the stairs and upstairs to their room. Once he walked into their room and saw Evan sitting on the bed reading, he smiled tiredly and tilted his head. "Still not asleep yet hun?"

She shook her head."No get im getting sleeply."She said with a chuckle."Did you get those invitations done?"she asked tilting her head as she looked up at Hikako and put her book on her night stand.She had her hands onto her stomache rubbing it gently.She was very excited her wedding was going to be soon and she would wear her white wedding gown while she was pregnant and had a big tummy.She thought it was cute.And she was also excited at how many friends they had made in the past 8 months.Some of them were people from the local market they go to and some were workers that worked at a nearby baby store and even the people that worked at the jewlery store and the people that gave Hikako the wedding ring for Evan when he proposed.

Hikako walked over to the other side of bed and sat down looking over at her with a nod. "Yeah..I finished them." he said smiling softly as he laid down onto the bed and turned his body to look at her and her stomach. "Eight months already huh?..its almost time.." he said slowly putting his hand onto hers which was on her stomach already.
