When Evan said that Hikako was a great husband and father, he smiled softly and just leaned in giving her a little bit more of deeper and longer passionate kiss onto the lips. So right when he pulled back, he was smiling softly wrapping his own arms around her body gently, than raising her into his own arms a bit. "Okay, than lets go." he said walking out of their bedroom, heading downstairs into the living room seeing how the twins were both watching cartoons once more. "Derina, Dernita. Looks whose come to play." he said laughing a little as both the girls looked over at their parents smiling brightly running over to them jumping up and down. "I want a ride I want a ride!!" both of them said at the sametime, just seeing how their mother was being carried made them really excited since they just loved to be carried. Hikako just laughed a little as he walked over toward the couch, laying Evan down onto it gently looking back at the twins. "No girls, I need to go make dinner. Just watch cartoons with your mother."

Once Evan was laying down onto the couch, Hikako had walked right into the kitchen and stopped when he realized that he wasnt even sure what to make. "Wait, what do you guys want to eat?!" he asked outloud, poking his head out of the kitchen door staring at the couch than over at their daughters who were talking with their own mother.

When Hikako had walked into the kitchen, he didnt seem to even have time to get any pots or pans out when Derina came into the kitchen asking if she could help. Smiling softly, he nodded at her, patting the top of her head and kissing her forehead. "Yeah. You want to make a meatloaf?..okay. I'll help you than." he said reaching up to the higher cabinet; pulling out a tall white head-chef's hat and putting it on her head. "Now your head-chef. What do you need me to do chef?" he asked chuckling a little playfully.

When Hikako had heard what Derina needed to make the meatloaf, he just smiled softly, walking over to the fridge, opening it and looking inside for the meat for a couple of minutes. He made sure the piece he had gotten wasn't too big, but at the sametime not too small. Getting it out, he gave it to his daughter, standing there watching her as she shaped it into the actual shape of a meatloaf. It was really surpring to him to see how his own daughter knew how to cook so well from just watching TV with her sister.

Once Derina had placed the meatloaf into the oven, Hikako looked down at it for a moment before looking back at her smiling and nodding. "Well...Looks like someone had been watching a lot of cooking shows." he said laughing a little and patting the top of her head. "Go and wash your hands Derina. I'll stay here to keep checking on it." he said. Meanwhile in the living room, while Dernita was watching cartoons, she had turned her attention back over toward her mother as she was writing. "Mommy?..what are you writing?.." she asked curiously, leaning back to take a peak at the dairy she was writing in.

When Dernita heard what a diary was, her eyes widened up as a bright smile formed onto her lips. "Ooooo can I have one too mommy?!" she asked excitedly, while in the kitchen, Hikako was sitting on one of the kitchen chairs, staring into the oven waiting for the meatloaf to finish cooking.

When Evan had told Dernita that she could make herself a diary, she smiled brightly as she already knew she and her sister had plenty of notebooks upstairs in their rooms. So she just got off the couch, running upstairs to their own room, grabbing onto a yellow notebook that was on top of a table that was even smaller than her or her sister; Derina. Having a notebook now, she than grabbed onto her box of crayons and markers, running back downstairs to her mother with everything. "So I can write whatever I want?" she asked before opening her notebook.
While when the 30minutes were up and Derina had come back into the kitchen, opening the oven and taking out the meatloaf. Hikako smiled softly patting her head as he grabbed a large plate from one of the upper cabinets, putting it down a little so that she could place the meatloaf onto the plate. So once, it was on the plate, he placed that right into the middle of a round table in the kitchen. "Dinner's served.!" he called out walking into the living room looking at Evan and Dernita.

When Derina told Hikako that Evan wouldnt be able to get up due to her reopening her wounds for that. His eyes widened up for a moment as he nodded, originally he was thinking about carrying her into the kitchen table, but just sitting up probably would've been bad for her too. So when Derina had set up the table, beginning to cut the meatloaf, he just smiled sitting right on the other side of the table watching how she cut it. Dernita at this point was just writing about how she felt in her little diary now.

When Derina had cut slices of the meatloaf giving it out to the whole family. Hikako stayed sitting there as she handed him a slice as well. "Thank you." he said as he saw how Dernita was sitting writing in her little book. "Dernita, stop writing for now, and eat." he said playfully as Dernita just when she heard her father, turning around smiling nervously. "O...okay daddy." she said, eating her slice of meatloaf given by her sister. When Derina asked her sister what she wanted to drink, she looked over at her for a moment. "Hmm...I guess I'll just have some coke as always." she replied.

When Derina had handed her sister the coke she ordered, Dernita smiled grabbing the cup taking a little sip of the soda before continuing to eat. "Thanks sis." She replied. Hikako on the other hand had just finished his food as well as he looked over at Evan who was sitting up, asking if Derina make the dinner. He just smiled softly leaning over toward her side, kissing her cheek gently. "Why dont you lay down Evan..? You must be tired."

Hikako just nodded in agreement to what Evan said first about her being fine. After the whole family was done eating dinner, he watched how Derina grabbed onto the plates, bringing them into the kitchen and began cleaning them. Originally he was thinking about going in there and telling her to let him do it, but than he thought about it again and just shook his head. She was old enough to do it on her own without any mistakes as he just grabbed two paper towels, spraying the coffee table with a little wood shiner since it was made out of wood and began to scrub it gently to get it clean. Dernita on the other hand was finally finishing up on her day report in her new diary as she turned around showing it to Evan. It said:

Once Evan had told Dernita that she did really good and that she was getting the hang of writing in a diary. She smiled brightly as she took the notebook back, closing it and bouncing up and down contentiously out of plain happiness. Dernita placed the notebook onto the floor next to her than turned to look at the TV since the cartoons were still going on the whole time the family was eating together. Hikako at this point, looked over at Derina coming out of the kitchen as he smiled softly, obviously she had to be done with cleaning the dishes, so that was why she was coming out of there. "Evan..you want to go upstairs..? Or do you want to stay here?" He asked wondering if she wanted to go upstairs and rest.

Evan looked up at Hikako and nodded."Yeah im a little tired."She told Hikako.She smiled up seeing Dernita excited about writing in her diary.Derina sat next to her sister and falling asleep with her head in Dernita's lap.She was very exhausted from cooking and cleaning.Since Evan was injured Derina was taking over the job of taking care of things around the house.She felt completely exhausted.She never knew how hard it was to be in her mother's place.

When Evan said she was a little tired, Hikao just plain nodded and walked up to her, slowly wrapping his arms around her body gently and picking her up into his own arms. "Dernita, Derina. You two just stay down here and watch cartoons. I'm going to bring your mother upstairs to lay down." he said with a soft smile as he walked upstairs than into their room, walking right over to the bed, letting her lay down gently and pulling the covers over her body up toward her neck. "Just get some rest..okay?" he asked kissing her onto the top of the head gently. Meanwhile Dernita was downstairs as she had one of her hands slowly stroking her sister's hair while she slept.
