Like a snuffed out candle
Flowing through the air;
Like the dreamy colors
Of immortal despair.

To the significant whispers
Too silent to hear,
Above all the noise
Consuming fear.

Earth
Fire
Wind
and
Water
One with the night
Midnight's Daughter.

Like a lonely friend
Forsaken by all;
Like a leaf on a tree
That begins to fall.

Like the crescent of the moon
Shining bright.
One with the shadows
One with the night.

Like a blinded lover
Who cannot see;
Like the sound of your heart
Beating peacefully.

Walking along
This broken way
To find an answer
That has gone astray.

Earth
Fire
Wind
and
Water
A darkened soul
Midnight's daughter.

Stay with me
I swear I'll never leave
I can't give you the stars,
But I swear I'll try.

My love burning
Inside my soul
Has become
such a feeling;
It's hard to ignore.

I loved you then and I still do
Though I wish the outcome
Was another way.

Please stay with me
I ask for you to come back.
Even if my heart is scarred in my hand
Please take it.

I can't give you the world,
But myself out to you.
Your guardian angel,
Forevermore.

Fragile Dream
 

Fragile Dream



Wakened by the fragile sound of eternal screams
I lay here in fright of what seemed so disturbing
The night falls into place where dreams become life
And the very soul you once knew turns bitter
Walk away if you must
But stay with me as you go
Turn my heart inside out and strike my veins with your poison
As this fragile girl you once knew dies with every breath
It’s just a matter of time before it all disintegrates
And becomes but a dream of your imagination
Find me in the white forest and catch me as I fall
But leave me there to die in your arms
Whispers of confusion enter your ear
Afraid to tell you
“I love you”
Will you miss me when I’m gone and beg to wake from this dream?
Or will you carry on your role of the great destroyer
The destroyer of hearts
Over and over again I cry
Falling for the same factor that I tried to avoid
Walk away if you must
But stay with me as I go
Spotting something in the darkness
Obliterating all thoughts and feelings
Shining light upon my face
But for what?
Another chance to fall
All to become fragile again
While I fall for you once again and beg for you not to go
Let it be all but a dream
And awaken me from it now
But the fragile dream still remains becoming my life
Torturing my soul forever more
As I whisper
“I LOVE YOU”
Heard by none

The Teddy Bear
 

His name is Teddy, he has so much pain

The needles pierced in him made him insane

The X over the eyes to hide his sight

Never to see again from the flushed out light

Nothing seemed to be normal, it all was a lie

The blood rushed down as he tried not to cry

A smile was a frown and a laugh was a scream

His life was falling apart seam by seam

When it all seemed okay and everything was gone

He climbed out from the shadows and found a star to wish upon

Still that wish was not granted and all fell back

And the curtains closed, as he gave up his act

The crowd became bored and left him all alone

A small light was reflected and his scars were shown

No one was there to ask him why

No one was there as he wished he would die

Bloody hands prints along the wall were shown in emptiness

All he ever wanted to get out and live in happiness

He never knew what it was like to have a friend

So he took the closest sharp object to his wrist again

He was pale and dark as night, skinny to the bone

He was starved and distant from his life, he was all alone

Curiosity grew as he wondered what life could be

Outside of the walls that he was trapped in from what he could not see

His reflection on the shattered mirror showed his whimpered face

As he laid alone in the world fallen far from grace

No angel was there to watch upon him as he killed himself every night

His weakened body slowly fell as he knew the end was alright

He knew that where ever he went after he was dead

Was far from better from this life where he laid down his screwed up head

The story is just about over and nothing left should be told

Just remember he died that night with only one thing he could hold

The teddy bear in his hands stayed there when he died

We all know now how much it hurt and why he could only hide

Torn Apart by the Voices
 

How can you sit and watch her die?

Losing your touch and falling to pieces

Aren’t you supposed to help?

Aren’t you the one that promised they’d never fall?



“How do you expect me fight this?

I hold nothing in my power to control it.”



But this is nothing new

You’ve seen it from the start



“You scream at me like I can do shit

What do you expect from me?

I hold nothing in my power to control it

And you know I cannot do a thing.”



Is it a lie or is it the truth?

Can you save the innocent?

You doubt yourself as if you were small

Look at yourself



“Why do you look to me as if I were a god?

Haven’t you seen I’m nothing but a mortal?

Weak and pathetic just like the rest

Dying as she is and you know it”



You’re not happy as I see

But you could be if you tried.



“Are you listening, don’t you see?

I hold nothing in my power to control it”



So if as you wish me to leave you be

I’ll just watch you die just like the rest

Insanity
 

INSANITY


Out of the corner of my eye the sky shot black.
Raging fires seared my heart as the world came to an end;



A glance to the ground as I was pulled under,



Don’t follow me down as the darkness swallows my being;



Become, but a shadow of your imagination



(The dark whispers in your dreams)



[I’ll] tear apart your world with my bare hands



And penetrate your soul.



Once again another shattered soul



Walking among the corridor;



Wind breaking my scream as bleed once again;



I cannot escape after all this time.



You’re such a perfect flaw



Screwing with our minds;



Bound at my limbs,



But you cannot stop my maddening heart.



Will you still love me if I go insane?
Truly it is your entire fault.



[You] let me slip;



Out of the corner of my eye you try to help me up;



How dare you contradict yourself!



I’ll push you down into the flames.



I hope your body sears;



Leaves not even a memory.
You’re the reason my sanity slipped.
