i had an overnight job for two years..... i am still recovering lol

Life definitely can be tough, but at least it can be amazing and beautiful at times to. My friends usually are theones pulling me through the down times too, they're just one of the awesome parts of life I think :-D

Beldroth: That's awesome :-D Warm there? I wish it was warm here. I live in Pennsylvania. It's miserably cold and threatening to snow. Yuck.

Linnea: Yup! I'm 24 and a single mom, so they kill me, but it's the easiest for me to do while still getting plenty of time in with my daughter and making enough money to scrape by. Plus, I get to work ten hours a night, so I get a full 40 hours in 4 days, leaving me 3 days in a row off each week, which is just more time with my little girl ^_^ She's my world. I don't sleep much, which my doctors yell at me for, but once she starts preschool in the spring that should get better too.

yeah.he is a good friend of mine so i am glad he cheered me up a bit ^-^

Eeek. That is cold, about what it is here actually. I don't even think I'd mind the cold so much if it were just less damp and miserable. It's this "cant decide if it wants to snow rain or just be cold as the poles" thing that I can't take. Makes me hurt.

And I don't midn the ngihts too much really, I've been working mostly night shift jobs or multiple jobs or jobs and school since I was 18, so you get used to it. I'm sure you know how it is Linn

i've had jobs since i was like 12... and i am in my mid twenties now... but i only ever had that one overnight job... i prefer nights, i think that is why i decided to do it in the first place... but it takes it's toll... i miss the days when i was jobless and then when i didn't have a job for a couple months i wished for a job again... damned if you do and damned if you don't i guess lol

I think I'd take the itchy skin over the constant snuffy cold head thing from the fluctuating humidity here. Yet if I could live anywhere it'd probably be Louisiana in a swamp somewhere ever more wet, but at least that'd be warm.

How bout everyone else? If you could live anywhere, where would it be?

i'd love to go to louisiana maybe for like a visit... but the humidity would kill me i think... in maine there is some humidity and there most definitely would be more there... so i would die lol

but i'd love to live... in the osaka region of japan!
i hear they have good eats there!!!

Oooh I'm a navy brat! well, kinda. My mom took off when I was pretty little so my dad shipped me back home to my grandparents when I was really small.

Same here! Not to mention I love miso soup. I swear I could live off of it. I used to live in Pittsburgh,and they have this amazing Japanese steak house there called Nakama. Best sushi I've ever had! I'd seriously blow half my food budget each pay check on a few trips there rather than being responsible and eating at home like I should have been

Wow, Jelly fish huh? That sounds like an odd problem at first but I can see where it would be a big issue. isn't it funny hos such small things can cause such catastrophe sometimes?
