Okay. That's it. I will seriously turn over my room this weekend and find it.
Have looked under bed. Have looked under skirt. No luck as of yet. Thank you both for your suggestions. |
I'm watching a show on SyFy called Beasts of Legend. They're trying to create a dragon that would possibly exist in real life.
Well, can I check under your skirt then? You might have missed it.
Haha - I mean, I think that I would have found it - so I'm going to decline that kind offer Zaza.
ZAZA! Pervert! *is aghast*
Yay, husband is back! He came home Wednesday. |
Yay for scholar!
It's nice having someone to cook for again. I totally have a feeding-people thing. If academia doesn't work out, I might seriously open a cafe. I just bought a second-hand espresso machine from a student who graduated and is moving back to Germany, and with that cheapo machine ($100 used; most "good" machines cost upward of $600), coffee grounds from the grocery store (it's best if you grind your own, as freshly roasted as possible, and grinders cost upward of $400), I'm making better coffee than any of my local fancy cafes.
Sorry, I'm bragging. But I am a good cook, and now a good barista. I don't have much experience at mixing drinks, but I do love it. I love food (a problem of sorts, but I'm getting it under control), and I think that helps when it comes to cooking of any kind. *rambles* |
Yummmmm food. My best friend is a pastry chef. I can appreciate the culinary arts Scholar. Haha.
Nothing wrong with being a perv, <<;
@Scholar Will you stock my microbrews? XD |
Back on and glaring at the TV.

@Scholar
Yes, they are beers. Many cafes in Europe sell alcohol though, o_o; As do some independently owned ones in America. |
Yup, I remember all my local cafes selling both coffee and beer. There's one place in my neighborhood that's trying to do the same, but I don't know how well they're doing.
Exactly, so getting microbrew to sell by commission wouldn't hurt your sales any, ;D
LOL. I might really try making my own beer someday, when I've got the time and space.
Eh?! :shock: What did I just walk in on?
A conversation about cafes and beer?
Yup. I've been thinking for a while of setting up my own cafe. I have a feeding-people thing. I also recently bought a second-hand espresso maker, and can't understand why my local cafes keep making foul dishwatery cappuccinos.
@Scholar
Cause they don't understand the concept of rinsing and air drying? XD |
:rofl: Maybe. My landlord in Holland would soak his dishes and then wipe them off with a dishtowel. No real scrubbing or rinsing. o.O
@ Scholar: Ick
@Scholar
That's.... nasty. o_o; Just sayin. First off, dish towels can harbor so many germs, which is why they emphasize air drying in American restaurants. Second. No scrubbing or rinsing? D: |
I have such a phobia of germs, so that's just revolting.
I just don't find the idea of dipping the dishes in water with no cleaning gross...
@zaza -- Yup, that's exactly what he did. It was pretty gross. Though, I think he did scrub really dirty stuff, but no rinsing.
