Rubbing his forehead the young man settled under a tree in the front of his temporary highschool. It was probably around 5:30 in the morning, all was quiet.
The angel streched his wings for a moment before retracting them. He pulled a trench coat around them before standing and brushing himself off.
"Of all the places to get stuck I get stuck in a town that has overcast 300 days a year." He muttered to himself, glaring up at the clouds that coated the sky. The angel muttered something to himself while toying with the stiching on his backpack. It was a messener back that was a muted tan with gold tht matched his eyes.

Artemis smiled at the overcast weather, grateful that it was blocking out the sun. The sun hurt her eyes when she flew- she once crashed because the sun was in her eyes. The young demon's silver hair was in a messy bun today, some of her silver locks falling over her right eye. Artemis smiled, twisting and twirling through the air. After getting over the sadness that her family had made it into Heaven and she didn't, she became quite cheerful, going up and visiting whenever she could. Her raven-colored wings were about 6 feet each, giving her a 12 foot wingspan. She blinked when she saw a boy sitting against a tree at her new school. "What is he doing up at 5:30 AM?" she murmured, landing behind a nearby abandoned building before retracting her wings and pulling her black, white and red plaid hoodie over it. She then ran to school, her new messenger hitting against her hip. It was red and black plaid, with a white wing on it and sky blue stitching that matched her eyes. She walked over to the boy, smiling at him. "Any reason why you're here at the crack of dawn?" she asked.

The angel looked up and chuckled to himself.
"It's 7:00 somewhere." He said, knowing he hadn't given a clear awsner, but that was how he did things. The angel took note of the fact the girl was very pretty and certinly liked to match her clothing. A light wing flutter his coat. If you looked close you could almost see the outline of his flight feathers.
His wings flight feathers were a dark gold and flecked with red, green, and blue and everything else was snowy white.

Artemis smiled, nodding as she lookd up at the sky. "That is very true," she said, before looking back at him. "My name's Artemis. What's yours?" she asked, sitting down on the ground. She didn't really care if he didn't want her there. Artemis was a very stubborn girl.

ooc: Photobucket won't let me see the links so I can type it out. I can't copy and paste, but when I click on it, it says "Copied". What the fudge? XD

Also: I have to check on another RP on a diffrent site. BRB!

"Zuko." He replied when she'd been looking away he'd been totally checking her out. He had to admit she was beautiful in more than one way. Zuko joined her on the ground, he was drumming his finger's on the ground.

ALSO: OMG BAD ZUKO!!! *hits him upside the head*
Artemis: OMG! *kicks him in the kneecap*

Artemis smiled at him. "It's very nice to meet you Zuko," she told him. (Is it just me, or whenever I see 'Zuko' I start thinking of "Avatar the last airbender"?!?! XD) "Are you new here Zuko? Because I've never seen you around town before," she said, tilting her head slightly to the right. She always did this when she was curious. Wow, he's cute! she thought absentmindedly. Wait! He's a human! He'll eventually die......Oh well, it's nice to dream.

((I think of Grease when I think of Zuko.))

"Yep." Zuko said, returning the smile. His teeth were white and straight, you could tell he'd worn braces when he'd been younger. That was true. Zuko shook the thought of dating Artemis from his head.
Dude she's human, your an angel. It just isn't going to happen. His eyes were flecked with dissapointment for a moment.

Also: Awwww. Poor Zuko. *hugs Zuko* Trust me dude, she isn't human. XD
Artemis: *DEATH GLARE*
Me: Eeeep. *runs away!*

Artemis smiled a little. "Knew it!" she said, laughig a little. "Most people that are new in town come here early. Every year, there's a typo in the class schedules. I guess it's a senior tradition to prank the new people. So all of the new people show up at 5:30 even though school starts at 7. Sometimes, seniors can be a pain," Artemis explained. I should know! I've gone through school more than once! she thought, stifling a laugh. She frowned when she saw the look in Zuko's eyes. "Zuko? Are you OK?" she asked, looking concerned. "If you're worried about the seniors, trust me, they won't mess with you as long as I'm around. The seniors know better than to mess with me. I know martial arts," she said, laughing a little.

ooc: Oooooh, Mace? Who would mace be? *is curious*

Artemis nodded. "I understand. But I'm curious, where did you move from? And why would you want to move here? It's like that town in Twilight. It rains for most of the year and snows for the rest. And the snow can get pretty deep," she said, smiling a little. "It's also quiet here... Nothing exciting ever happens." Well, that anyone knows of... This is a freaking demon hotspot! she thought, frowning a little. I wonder if he's a demon...? ....Nah! I need to stop being paranoid.

((Mace will play a role later on.))

"That's something you'd ask my dad" Zuko chuckled to himself, he even his did. He was a retired Arkangel that had taken him in while he was stuck learning on Earth. Zuko wondered why the Arkangel had picked here of all places to live. Zuko looked down at his watch, it was 6:00.
Time flies when your trying to keep your wings under a coat. He though to himself.

Artemis smiled. "Well, whatever the reason, I'm glad you came here. Nobody really hangs around me because I have weird hair," she admitted, laughing sadly. "I'm thinking about dying it to it's original color- it's a reddish brown. I... got sick one year, and before I got better, all of the color drained from my hair," she said softly. "But I don't mind. It looks really pretty at night when the moon's out.."

Zuko raised an eyebrow.
Something like that happened to a friend of mine, he goes by Mace." Mace was probably the only person on earth, besides the Arkangel that knew he wasn't human. In turn Zuko knew Mace was half angel, half vampire.
"Do you beleive in angels and vampires?" He asked.

((DUN DUN DUN!!!))

ooc: EEEK!!!

Artemis nodded. "I do...." she said softly. What was he going to tell her? And why did he ask such a random question? she wondered.

"Yes," she said, smiling a little. Artemis knew vampires existed because she was killed by one. She went on a date with a guy, and he kissed her before sucking her blood. My first kiss was stolen by that vampire, she thought, looking up at the sky. And then he killed me!

"Just looking up," Artemis replied, her jacket now low enough to reveal her scar from "the bite!" It looked like two jagged parentheses, with a deeper mark where the fangs were.

Artemis looked at him curiously, raising an eyebrow. "Oh, because I believe in mythical creatures I'm not human?" she asked. Please buy it.

Artemis sighed. "That's what happened to me," she said softly. Hey, it woud explain her scar right? She sighed, pulling down her shirt collar a little more to show him the scar. "I went on a date with a gu, and he turned out to be a vampire," she said, laughing a little. "It was quite odd... I thought I was a goner." Even though I did die, but he doesn't have to know that.

ooc: Sorry that I keep getting off, I'm going back and forth between Menewsha and Roliana. *sweatdrop* Don't worry, my RP buddy on Roli will be off soon, so I'll come back for a while! ^^

"You had every right to think you'd be a gonner." Zuko said laying back in the damp grass. He drummed his fingers on the ground to an old song he would listen to the humans play. He'd never actually gotten close enought to hear the words.

Artemis smiled sadly. Oh, you have no idea, she thought, laying back and staring up at the sky. Her shirt was a navy blue, which went halfway up her neck to hide her scar. She had a dark blue skirt, and black boots with 3 gold buckles along the side. Her boots were about 5 inches below her knee. "I wonder where all of the new kids are? Maybe they didn't do the typo this year," she said, twirling a lock of her silver hair around her finger, bored out of her mind.
