I was talking to my friend Angel, and he put together this string of letters that was supposed to form a sentence. It hurt my brain, so I asked him what it meant and he thought I was crazy. I mean, I use "lol" and such, but not to an extreem. ( It looks rather funny when you say "laugh out loud", doesn't it? ) D: u dnt/ i sad ya i do isnt it sad/ |
Just take the extra, you know, .2 seconds to type out a whole word! And at least some of the time, use capitals in the right places, and commas, and the correct forms of your/you're, their/there/they're, and to/too/two. And don't use z instead of s, THAT IS ALL I ASK. :gonk: I understand messing up constantly (WHO ME?), but I mean... try to look like you at least have a basic grasp of what you are doing.
I don't rip on people or not talk to people who aren't mostly 'internet literate', but I'd be lying if I said that I didn't make judgments about it. Which is awful, I have a lot of friends that use only chatspeak online but are really smart and clever people when you talk to them face to face. I SHOULD KNOW BETTER. ;a; Anyway, how do you guys like my huge butt and how it makes me join in other people's conversations? :roll: |
I'm just glad it's better on Menewsha than it is on Facebook and such. :P Chatspeak bugs me to no end.
Yeah, I get that... Most of my friends use chatspeak, but they're wonderful (and very intelligent) people. We should know better. :gonk: Eh, 's fine. :XD I do it aaaaalll the time. :sweat: |
I've never dealt with it too much on Facebook. A couple of my friends are awful about it, though. :XD
