You can have my daughter's tendency to get nosebleeds easily, then. It's such a pain to have a three year old with a bloody nose. x___X; It's a lot of work to get her to sit still so she doesn't bleed all over thing.

The worst part of a nosebleed is the clot at the end. *gags* Sooo foul.

Scribbled Lore 09-11-2010 01:03 AM

You are odd.

Oh man, I cannot imagine my little one with a nosebleed. Does she just keep on playing right through the bleeding, Estrella?

Estrella 09-11-2010 01:06 AM

No, she usually informs me of her bloody nose.

"MOM, I'M BLOODY NOSE." xD

But it depends. If she falls and gets a bloody nose, then she's hysterical about it. However, a lot of them are caused because she picks her nose.

Scribbled Lore 09-11-2010 01:15 AM

"MOM, I'M BAD GRAMMAR."

Anyways, that stinks. Has she not caught on to the fact that she probably shouldn't be picking her nose since it causes her nose to bleed? Well, never mind. She's little and nose pickin' is fun. Silly me.

amayakumiko 09-11-2010 01:21 AM

You also forgot that cause and effect is not 100% in the little ones. :P

Scribbled Lore 09-11-2010 01:29 AM

That is true.

Squid 09-11-2010 01:39 AM

Maybe she turns in to ONE GIANT LITERAL BLOODY NOSE.

You don't know

-3-

Scribbled Lore 09-11-2010 01:43 AM

Oh, ew, creepy. Squid, you are.. something else.

amayakumiko 09-11-2010 01:45 AM

EW. ON to different subjects, like I uno..... pizza. Anything but bloody noses. :D

Heiyuu 09-11-2010 01:46 AM

Pizza? Lou Malnati's in Chicago, Illinois, USA is the best in the world, if you like a deep dish.

Scribbled Lore 09-11-2010 01:48 AM

I've.. never been to Chicago! Hi there, Heiyuu. *waves* Is that where you're from?

amayakumiko 09-11-2010 01:51 AM

Jeezus, I want a deep dish pizza so badly. That sounds so good right now. Also Heiyuu, I love your outfit!

Estrella 09-11-2010 02:02 AM

She's only three so she doesn't quite string the sentences together correctly.
She also says stuff backwards like instead of "Can I go bye-bye?" it's usually "I can go bye-bye?"

And I'm teaching her not to pick her nose but she picked it up from her dad when he and I were still married.

I think I get pizza tomorrow night.

Heiyuu 09-11-2010 02:27 AM

I was raised in Chicago, yes. And I'm currently stationed at Great Lakes Naval Base in Illinois, so I'm right by the city--can get out on weekends.

Squid 09-11-2010 03:48 AM

I don't like pizza

:c

Sorry I grossed you all out

:c

Scribbled Lore 09-11-2010 01:11 PM

Aw, Squid, you're just an odd one aren't you? What brought you to us anyways?

Squid 09-11-2010 01:42 PM

I was just looking for new places to chat. I'm a horrible lurker, and I'm trying to break myself f that.

amayakumiko 09-11-2010 04:49 PM

As am I Squid, as am I. Also, i neglected to mention this, but I really like your outfit!

Estrella 09-11-2010 04:50 PM

I wasn't grossed out. *pulls on some shades*

RAAAGGGE. My child just tripped over her potty AGAIN. I just shampooed the friggin carpet YESTERDAY because she tripped over it. *huffs*

amayakumiko 09-11-2010 04:58 PM

I'm sorry Estrella. Is she getting the concept or is it still hit and miss?

Estrella 09-11-2010 05:11 PM

She's pretty good about being potty trained but I keep telling her to be careful around her potty chair but she's tripped over it twice and spilled it on the carpet. I'll probably have to shampoo again and it's a little irksome because the shampooer is heavy and awkward and I have to carry it up the narrow ass stairs. X__x;

She normally doesn't use the potty except in the mornings. Otherwise, she just uses the toilet.
But since there isn't a bathroom upstairs, I figured just getting her a potty that she can use in our room would be a good idea.

I didn't consider her spilling it on the carpet. :(

amayakumiko 09-11-2010 05:28 PM

Maybe if you get a large, under the bed type rubbermaid bin and then put the potty chair in that, it would keep the mess from hitting the carpet. I unno, just an idea.

Mine gets the idea that pee and poop goes in the potty, its just a matter of getting him to use it consistently. Hopefully by January he'll have gotten the concept down 100%

Estrella 09-11-2010 05:37 PM

She still pees her pants sometimes.
I think she's just being lazy when she does, though.
But mostly we're there 100% of the time.

I had to get rid of pullups and the like because she would literally change out of her underwear and put a pullup on to go to the bathroom.

amayakumiko 09-11-2010 05:40 PM

That is kinda hilarious. (The pull-ups to potty thing, not the accident thing)

I'd be cool with occasional accidents. I'm gonna have another babe here in a month or so, and i'm not all that excited about the prospect of changing two little persons diapers.

Scribbled Lore 09-11-2010 06:27 PM

At least she's bright enough to change into pull-ups to use the restroom, Estrella! Although the tripping over the potty thing.. I'm glad you mentioned that. I'll have to keep it in mind when my little one starts potty training.

So since we're talking about kids... how do you plan on dealing with sexuality and explaining to your children that not everyone is straight?
