"Well I actually want to become a Psychologist. So right now I'm going for my Bachelors of Sience in Psychology. I want to be able to open my own business one day....although that will be a long ways away from now. Faylinn replied with a small smile. Her blush returned to her cheeks as she heard his words. "The truth? Sure.....I'm average but not beautiful. I've seen prettier girls on this ship."She added. Faylinn watched as the waitress returned and handed Seregil his cup. She quickly walked over to Faylinn and she gladly accepted the cup of warm tea. "Thank You."Faylinn whispered. The waitress just gave a small smile and walked away from the two. Faylinn held her cup with care as the warmth from the cup warmed her hands. She took a small sip as it was still quite hot for her taste. Faylinn sighed in content and looked back at Seregil. "So where do you live?" Faylinn asked.
She grinned."Pfft...no." She smirked."This ways better." She said, glancing back out at the water."So what room do you stay in OnYeen? Middle class, Lower class, Upper class? You too Michael." She said, sitting back up on the railing."You know..I bet you don't see many stars in the city with all those bright lights.." She said, leaning back to look up.
Eemie looked back at Lawrence, but he motioned for her to talk to someone else. She did not know what to do. She finally found a girl, who was wandering by herself. "Hello." She waved at her. "Im Eemie, and I was looking for someone to talk to." Eemie looked at the ground, but then up at the girl. She turned to Lawrence, he was laughing at her a little. Then he made a motion that meant he had to get back to work, and Eemie got a little scared to be on her own.
((you talking to onyeen? ))
(( Unless someone else is.... Yes))
Seregil listened in on the woman's words nodding from time to time and his eyes seemed to light up when she said she was going to be a psychologist, "So we're into the same field, that's great." After the waiter had served both of their cups to them and walked off the male's golden gaze returned to the seemingly eternal flame in the fireplace. Although his attention was quickly pulled back to the woman next to him when she began speaking, "I'm living in England right now while I'm studying and playing soccer. It's nice over there but there's nothing like home you know?" In all due honesty Seregil loved it over seas but home was where his heart was and he always seemed to miss it.
Michael smirked and shrugged somewhat. "Riiight. And I'm with the crew. Since, I am a worker here." he said almost shrugging again. He looked at Onyeen sort of unsocial until Katie brought her in the conversation. "A couple of people are actually in first class. Not sure if anyone's in third or middle." he said.
( Onyeen's on the top deck with Michael and Katie, but you could talk with us too. XD Since Katie brought her into the convo with them. ) |
((Well I wanted her in conversation since my characters flirting with yours right in front of her XD ))
"Don't workers get upper class?"She asked, raising an eyebrow at him and standing on the second rail instead of the top. She started to pace on the second rail since she would only fall back onto the boat on this railing."So i'm guessing your a ladies man? And your used to it?" She laughed."Since I sort of just randomly asked yo to come here and you showed up. So your either a gentleman or just plain used to it.." |
Kala woke in a strange room not sure on how she had got there. She slowly moved from the bed and looked about the room as she walked to the door and cracked it peering out of it into the hall. She then looked back to the room and remembered she had boarded the ship by hiding in the sack of potato's so she wouldn't be caught. She quickly made the bed and headed from the room as she began her search for the heart of the Ocean. It had to be on the ship she would start in the Captain's quarters or near it. Something that special had to be well guarded.
Michael shook his head. "Not a ladies man. I just have to be polite since, I was on the job." he said, almost smirking as he glanced down at her. "I dislike females. And males." he added, just in case she would think he liked guys.
"So you don't like girls..or guys?" She gave him an odd look."Not even as friends?" She blinked since if he wasn't even going to be her friend, and just be nice to her since it was his job..then she was wasting her time. She frowned a little since the whole friend thing just went down hill. She sat back up on the railing after pacing and then leaned back as far as she could without falling.
"Woah woah. No, I like people as friends, but never as anything else. At least. It's never happened." he said, shrugging. He did have friends of course. Otherwise he'd be extremely grouchy or something. "Don't worry. If I didn't want to be friends, I would have just, I dunno, let you down at the kitchen."
She smiled a little."Kool, because part of the reason I asked was just so I could make a friend..and I saw how nice you were to Kala, so yeah.." She smirked. If she atleast had a friend on the ship she would have fun. She flicked his shoulder."So you've never been in love or anything?" She'd dated before, but never been in love since all the men she ended up with were complete jerks. She nodded a little."Understandable to have never fallen in love.. but you've been with a girl before right? Not sexually but I mean like as a girlfriend?" She asked, turning around so her legs were hanging off the ship so if she fell backwards she would probably fall on Michaels foot.
Michael shook his head and shrugged."nah. Never been interested." he said easily. He gave her a small smirk. "I have always found it troublesome and rather, pointless." He added with a shrug. He was sort of heartless in that sense but it never lost him sleep at night, so in his book it was all good. Friends he had many.
Katie glanced at him."I wish I was like you." She smirked." Then I wouldn't be heart broken, ever." She said, smiling a little." I admire that for some odd reason.." She said, looking back at him."But you've kissed a girl I assume?" If he hadn't then bravo! She probably would've hugged him right then and called him her role model,"Or have been with a girl?" She guessed he had atleast once..but you never know. If he wasn't interested in girls or guys he could possibly be a virgin, which was better points on the friend scale.
Michael laughed. "I have been kissed before. But only on a dare, so it didn't really count. And no. I haven't slept with anyone." He said, glancing down at her. He knew he didn't seem like the whole innocent type. That didn't matter, since he could do it if he ever wanted. He just didn't feel the need. "My best friend calls me crazy for being this uncaring for relationships. And yet you admire it." he teased, smirking somewhat."I guess you could do it if you want. But be warned. It is a bit lonesome." he said, smirking.
She laughed a little."Nah, I could never do that. I'm attracted to boys to easily.." She smirked."Well I think its good you don't find the need to have a relationship. They tie people down and keep you from doing a lot of things that could really help you in the future." She said, looking over at him and putting her hand on his shoulder."Well..if you have friends then atleast you have someone..?" She grinned a little."I still think its funny how your so cute and still haven't slept with a girl." She teased, dropping her hand and sticking her tongue out at him.
Michael nodded with a small smirk. "Yeah, without any real ties, I get to do whatever I want and I get to enjoy myself." He said, looking up at the stars again wondering about something. "A friend can't replace the love and care that a special someone can give you, is something my friend tells me often." he said, smirking as he glanced down at her. "But yeah, I guess it just depends on the person." he added, shrugging before almost laughing at her last comment. "It's not because I haven't had the chances, but just cause, I don't really care."
She frowned."Your not really missing much, On either of those subjects." She grinned."Love is just something that always ends badly, either by death, fights, and other crap like that and then sex is just something that ends in a matter of minutes depending on the person." She said, putting her head on her shoulders when he looked up at the stars."But who knows, maybe you jsut haven't found the one girl that sort of..I don't know..um..makes you happy?" She laughed."You know what I mean. I just wish it was really easy..like you love no one for a long time, don't kiss, or have sex until all of a sudden BAM you see that one person and know their yours. But no, we have to go threw so many people..well..you don't."
He made a small face, shaking his head. "Hon, that's not going to happen. I refuse to be tied down, and why be with someone when, like you said. It's filled with pains and heartbreaks, and sometimes they or you die first. I'm fine like this. But, you'll figure it out. You have more experience, and that can make you stronger." he said, offering her a small smile.
"To bad you don't live by me." She smirked."If I had a friend like you around then I wouldn't need a relationship." She said, moving her head to glance up at him."Then don't let anyone take that happiness from you." She said, really admiring him now. She jumped down from the rail to just stand by him and lean back against the rail."I guess I sort of get so easily in love with guys is because I always have that fear of ending up alone with no one to love me." She said, glancing over at him."But its sort of better to have friends then to have someone that could walk out on you any second. "So what time do you have to get up tomorrow?"
(( Wait she is flirting with none of my characters right!! Im so confused XD))
Faylinn nodded in agreement as she stared into the blazing fire. Every few minutes she would take a small sip from her cup, wanting to hold in the warm as long as possible. Faylinn gently set her cup on the small end table placed beside her chair. She quickly unbuttoned her dark blue jacket, reveling her white blouse underneath. "I was feeling a little hot, most likely since I'm sitting next to the fire."She whispered. Almost feeling like she had to explain why she got taken off her jacket, although that seemed quite odd....even for her. Faylinn lifted the cup from the end table and once again wrapped her hands around the semi-warm cup. "It's nice to meet someone that has the same career in mind. Are you aiming to open up your own business as well?" Faylinn asked in a light manner.
Taking his sips slowly Seregil found himself admiring Faylinn's attractive features on more than one occasion and had to tear his eyes away from her. When she began to unbutton her jacket his eyes naturally followed the motion of her fingers until she got to the third button in which he closed them and took in the smell of his tea. It was his way of consciously keeping from doing the normal guy thing and staring knowing he shouldn't be. Nodding at her remarks afterwards he smiled and thought about her question for a brief moment, "I think I'll ride my soccer career to it's end first then I'll see what I can do with my degree. I may get lazy and just come work for you. How does that sound?" He was being a goof of course but he was partially serious. He didn't intend to give up soccer so soon. His golden gaze made its way to Faylinn's eyes as he asked, "So where are you staying?"
