I'm not sure how much I'm really feeling it. Maybe you should just do away with the background elements and try for a different accent color instead of blue. :sweat: Man, I feel like I failed... OMG, I'm sorry! When I quoted posts today, I thought I missed something, but I didn't realize what it was until I saw your name pop up as the last person to post in this thread! T_T Ack!

I have to go to bed soon, but I really don't have too much for you. A few things do stand out to me.

1) I hate the hat. Bleh. It just doesn't go with the rest of your avatar IMO, and it messes with the whole feel of the scene you're trying to pull off. It's also a huge chunk of black, and there's not that much black anywhere on the rest of your avatar, so that makes it stand out even more. Maybe instead of the hat try the black harem headdress, with just the flowers. :yes: There aren't a lot of black head items that are hat-like, and the ones I have easily accessible to look at in my inventory won't go with your avatar. I think the harem headdress might be nice though, because it's still got a naturey theme. :yes: It might interfere with the circlet though. I'm not sure. :sweat:

2) Add sapphire dragon gloves. I think they'd add a nice bit of blue to the midsection, which I think would help the balance of colors.

3) I'm not a huge fan of the birds, but they're good for the theme, so I'm okay with them being there. I just like that this avatar is so wonderfully matchy, but the pinky-red bird just catches my eye and annoys me every time I look at it.

4) That gold belt is too light. Why not try the gold mariachi belt, or the darker gold lunar belt (the middle option in multiequip).

I decided to remove the hat and add some black into the hair, since I didn't really want to spend 1k on an item that might interfere with the circlet/ hairpin. I also changed the belt, removed the pink bird, and found the perfect pair of gloves, the Isis Sleeves. It seems to fit the starry items more. However, I sort of like how the gold and red look against the tan skin on the avatar's arms. The addition of the gloves will also take away the brown from the mid and upper part of the avi IMO(face, arms, mushrooms, shoes.) What do you think?

I like this MUCH more now that you removed the hat. :D Such an improvement!

I like the Isis sleeves actually. It doesn't bother me that adding those removes the brown from your arms. The brown touches are really secondary IMO. :yes:

I'm trying to make a make a halloween avatar that screams neller. Lol. I'm having a little trouble with the feet. I was trying to explore options and came up with 4 different solutions.

I don't know which one is best. I like 4, but I feel like there's orange missing at the bottom. I tried solving that with 3, but I think there's too much brown at the hips/waist. XD Aren't I crazy?

Okay, I really don't like the hood + mini hat + hairpin. I think the hood looks really odd, to be honest, and I don't think it's doing much for the avatar in general. I guess I'd have to see it without the hood to give you a more honest opinion of the rest of the head items, but right now I'm just not feeling it. :yes: I would go for Trick's Headband (black with white accents), or the opposite of that (white with black accents) instead.

I'm also not too fond of the raven anklewings. I feel like they conflict with the angelic feel of the rest of the avatar. I understand that you probably added them for balance, but they just feel kinda wonky to me. Why not remove them and add the Blackbird Wrap Skirt. That'll give you plenty of added black. XP

I'll go back and do this one once I have an image of your avatar. I do my advice from the Go Advanced post screen, and I want to be able to see your avatar as I type. Right now, I can't see it, so I can't give advice on it. So please, could you upload an image to tinypic and repost? :D Thanks!

I am really loving the colors you used here! :D Very nice use of yellow/orange/neon green! :D A couple of things stand out to me though.

The head items don't fit with the theme of your avatar IMO. The hat throws me off right away! It doesn't fit the pseudo-happy-pirate theme you've got going on here. I can say the same about the daisy hairpins. These two items are particularly cutesy, and don't really match the fierceness of the rest of your avatar. I think I would reconsider your hairdo and look into other items to go up on your head. For yellow/orange, that may be a bit difficult. :sweat: Maybe keep the hair green and try the Orange Sherbet Headband? http://images.menewsha.com/items/thu...510751e37e.gif Ugh. ROUGH. I really like the rest of this avatar though, and I think it's pretty darn nice! XD Yours is an avatar where the raven anklewings really work IMO. :yes: Just look at your head items and see if there's something else you can work out, because I just think the items you have now take away from the theme you're going for. :yes:

I like this one! I do wish it was a bit more balanced from top to bottom though. Right now it seems bottom-heavy with both the skirt and the tailfeathers. Perhaps some raven headwings might be nice up top? It would give you some width up there, and also some black, which seems to be lacking up there. :yes: I like that the belt, although it's a different color brown from most of the rest of your browns, works really well here. I hardly ever see anyone use that belt, and I think it's been put to good use. :yes:

Maybe add some black mechanic gloves if they go underneath the bracers. And I would like to see a handheld item too. The theme on this is just too good not to put in a handheld item. I like the third one best. :D And I don't think there's too much brown at the waist/hips on that one. It's still broken up enough by the shorts that you don't really notice it. I like the bright orange at the bottom of the avatar -- it ties it all together for me.

I really need help with the hair, not really sure what to do there, i also tried the super spiky style and it looked interesting. Plus I was wondering if you'd think the spearmint earrings would look good.

I like this one a lot, with the exception of the shoes. I think you should go with the shoes from option 3. :yes: Yeah, there aren't any white accents, but I think that's okay. :yes:

Okay, yeah, the hair definitely needs work. I think I'd just go with blues if I were you, instead of trying to incorporate black.

Maybe try these colors:
Base: #4C70A5
Highlight: #BADDEB or whatever you're using for the light blue right now.

I do think the spearmint earrings would work well. Have you tried them on? I do think the gear earrings aren't really that great for this outfit, so it's good you're thinking about alternatives. Cute outfit! :D I think you've done a nice job balancing the colors, though you could use some more orange around the neck area. That's hard though, because we don't have a lot of orange neck items. The only thing in my inventory is the orange cutie scarf, and I don't think it'd really match too well... It's not the same orange I don't think.

Other than that, I think that you could do without the moon. I don't really feel like it's adding that much to your avatar. Instead, I think I'd like to see a night-time background of some sort, to give it a more eerie Halloween feel. :D

You could also use some earrings... Maybe the oriental earrings?

Overall though, I like it. :D It's cute.
