Amaya listened to the human's pathetic attempt at an insult. She had to admit - if she wasnt holding back, the girl would be in pieces. This girl insulted their ways, insulted Amaya personally with the 'make up so we can go home' comment, and other things that Amaya wasnt too friendly toward. Not many people lived with insulting the Dark Goddess and got away with it. In fact - they were all in a room with one - her brother. But this girl - it took her everything she had not to kill her. The last comment made her grip on her cup so tight that it shattered in her hand, the goddess glaring at the wall behind the veil of her raven colored hair. Amaya was thankful that her hair was there - her eyes were changing color due to her anger and she didnt want anyone to see it. Blood dripped from her hand where the glass left their mark but Amaya didnt seem to care. Her jaw was clenched but her form tense yet relaxed. She refused to acknowledge the rambelings of a human anymore than she already had, much less a spoiled little girl.

"Yeah, definitely pushed it," Ren thought, this time wincing slightly. Still, she managed a, "Tch, you're only proving my 'brat' point." She then rose and went to Faith, thinking, "Oh damn, why did I continue? Damn my mouth! Damn my stupidity! Did I not just think that I just pushed it too much?" She patted Faith on the shoulder and nodded. "We'll be okay," she whispered. "Then again, we might not be if I don't close my damn mouth. Man, she just crushed that damn glass! Erk, maybe I better get away with Faith. If she decides to kill me here and now I don't want Faith being collateral damage." As nonchalantly as she could, Ren backed away from Faith and back towards her plate of food. To Amaya, she asked rather scathingly, "Shall I get you a band-aide, milady? Once more she cursed herself, and internally kicked herself in the ass. "This...this is the dumbest thing you've ever...!! But if I just start being nice, she'll think I'm a coward! Yes, we can't have that," she finished sarcastically to herself. Then, "Yup. I'm dead."

"I know...we just have to make the best of our situation.....if we can figure out how." Faith said to Ren as she smiled at her, hugging her slightly before she moved off, she then frowned and watched her friend for a moment, still lost in her little world slightly but completely aware of things around her. She smiled once more before she laughed a little bit, she just found the situation slightly funnier then she had before, after all Ren was Ren and she normal said things until the person wantted to kill her. She walked into thekitchen and grabbed a piece of cloth as she walked over to the goddess, not saying anything to her asa she took her hand and began to pull the glass out of it, once it was free of glass, she wrapped the cloth arounud her hand before she went back over to the window.

Ren watched, with some relief, as Amaya seemed to calm and even kissed Faith's head. She grinned, no longer angry at Amaya's previous treatment of Faith, as she seemed to have changed her view towards the girl. "Aw, damn, all I had to do was be nice? Oops. Dropped the ball on that one. Then again, it looks like we might be getting home sooner than I thought." She grinned happily and began eating once more. "Seems like you have the capacity to love after all, if you just calm down a bit," she murmured, though the words weren't exactly meant to be external. She grinned, eating happily, before she stopped and blinked. "Ah...that was supposed to be internal...oops," she blushed slightly, but grinned, her mood returned due to a lighter atmosphere, relief that she probably wouldn't end up killed by a goddess (probably) and good food.

Ren was (for once) at a loss of what to say. Her insults had led to Amaya's accident, which led to Faith's involvement and also possibly softening of the goddess' heart. Maybe. It was a stretch, really. "If only things could continue moving in that direction. Then again, this manipulation is damn annoying, and it doesn't feel right." She shifted uncomfortably, feeling like an ass. "More trouble than it's worth. Damn, what are we going to do? I want to go home," she moaned quietly, her thoughts drifting from her mind into the open. She was too engrossed in her mind to realize this, however, though fortunately the rest of this monologue was internal as it was all very circular.

Ren watched her go, realizing that Faith would be more comfortable outside. She, on the other hand, had enough of the elements for a while. She sat on the floor, tapping her fingers on the ground idly. A thought occurred to her, but before she could think her words through, she grinned up at those around her, and asked, "So, Lady Amaya, is there a Lord waiting for you at home?" She asked, then continued with, "There used to be a guy in my life, but he cheated on me with some chick with huge boobs. I guess it's kind of a stereotype, but it happens. That's probably why it was made into a stereotype in the first place, because it actually happened. But still, it kicked my ass that I got caught in that damn cliche. So, I kicked his ba...er, ass...to get even with him. He got pissed, but it wasn't that intimidating because his voice was a bit squeaky," she ended, chuckling to herself.
