Abel chewed his skewer appreciatively. He relished the flavor of it. There was only one time he ate like this, and it was at the Wintermeal Festival. He watched the fire as it danced and flickered when his sensitive ears picked up," Can we find anyone that can take us to this God?" Before he really thought about it Abel turned to the girl had just inquired about his Lord, and said," Are you talking about Lord Reiga?"

Abel was taken aback as the girl began to shrink further away from him. He didn't mean to have scared her, but the way that she was pulling away from him showed him that there was probably some previous incident. Regardless, she had asked about his Lord. "I wonder why she was talking about Lord Reiga," thought Abel to himself. "Maybe if I talk a little about him she will become more open. I mean it's not like he would ever see her again." He began," I'm sorry wear are my manners," said Abel. Turning on the charm a bit more he smiled at her as he extended his hand and added," I am sorry for eavesdropping earlier, but I couldn't help overhearing that you're talking about a "god" you must be talking about Lord Reiga. I work for him. You know he's here at the festival somewhere."

"Eh, he's here?" Ren asked. "That was easier than I thought," she said happily. She didn't recognize the man's use of charm, only that he claimed to know the god, and could help them get home. "Lucky us, huh, running into you. Although I guess it would be luckier to run straight into the god himself, but whatever. It was Lord Reiga, right?" She chattered and nudged Faith lightly. Her own distrust towards strangers had melted away, it seemed, despite their attack. Her attention span was as short as usual. "We might be home faster than we thought," she whispered. "Yup, can you take us to him?" She asked again, this time to the man.

Raiden stepped out of his home just inside the palace walls. He looked around at the guards that stood at the gates and the other guards in training. The man took a deep breath and walked into the palace to find Amaya and see if anything needed to be done.
He approached the door to her room and knocked on it.

((Sorry I haven't been on the last couple of days. I procrastinated on my summer homework so... I had a lot to do. But I finished it all just in time! :XD))

Lyn hesitantly accepted the offered food as he put away his sword. It felt strange for him to be given food by his lord, it should be the other way around on a typical day. However, if his lord was happy, that was enough for him. Lyn had never actually eaten food on a stick before. He generally didn't eat at festivals as he avoided them unless his lord was there. He studied it carefully, the way the food was stacked and held together. Once he decided that he had successfully determined the best way to eat it, he confidently bit into it. Half of it immediately fell of onto the ground. Bewildered, Lyn studied the food ever more carefully. He made a second attempt, and this time managed to not spill any. As he finished, he looked up and saw Lord Reiga looking at him. 'Was he watching me the whole time?' He asked himself. He then realized that he had been distracted and instantly became alert. He looked about and sighed, placing his hand on his head. Near the campfire, Abel stood, in full armor no less, talking to a couple of girls. 'I guess I can't really blame him for the armor though. He could have just assumed that we would take an aggressive defensive position as opposed to passive. On the other hand, he could have just been too late to think about it.' Lyn turned to his lord and, as much to change the subject from his food fiasco as to actually inform Reiga, said "Your majesty, Abel is there, by the fire. Should we approach?"

Raiden smiled to the Goddess and sat down to play with them. He stayed quiet the entire time, listening to what was going on.

((i had summer homework when I was still in high school. Mostly reading and then an essay. It kinda sucked >.< ))

((Yes, summer homework does exist, and so do assigned readings. At least in college they still exist. I had to read a god awful book for summer this year. I couldn't understand why they gave us a 120-125 page book to read during the whole summer. Now I do, it was so boring!))

Reiga handed the stick to Lyn and watched him clumbsily eat it. Lyn's first attempt ended in almost near failure for he only dropped half of it. Reiga had to stiffle a snicker. He felt bad for laughing, but it was just too funny. Turning his head away from the funny scene Reiga surveyed the rest of the area. His eyes then fell onto Abel who was by the fire talking to some girls. Some girls that he had never seen before. He heard Lyn say,"Your majesty, Abel is there, by the fire. Should we approach?" Thinking to himself he nodded to himself and then said," I think we should pay him a small visit, don't give up your position though. Especially not in such a crowded place." He remembered one of the very first times he had come down from his castle without the aid of glamour for the festival. It was bad. If Lyn didn't remember it, he surely had. Reiga began approaching Abel who was talking adamantly with the girls.

Abel was more than willing to talk to his hearts content about Lord Reiga. He had a high admiration for him. However, when she asked," [...] can you take us to him?" Abel froze. Abel had committed what was comparable to one of the seven deadly sins. He forgot about protecting his Lord. "Well that is actually a funny story," he said. "I sort of lost him...Well you see.." Abel told his story about how he eventually ended up here at the fire talking with them. "So you see that's why I am looking for him." Abel noticed a villager beginning to approach them, and thought nothing of it. He was probably just another one of the villagers gathering at the fire to wait in celebration.

Ren frowned slightly, disappointed. Then, she brightened. "Okay, we can help you find him," she suggested. "We really need to find him so we can get home," she said, then nearly bit her tongue. "Crap, how much am I supposed to say here? If I say too much, it'll be suspicious, but if I don't say enough, it looks even more mysterious. Gah, this sucks!" She just grinned and continued warming herself by the fire.
