She watched him as he ate, making sure he ate everything before taking back the bowl and going to get more. "Eat more." She stood and went back to kitchen when she felt tears threaten again and leaned against the sink as she cried. She didnt want to do it in front of Tomoyo anymore because she wanted to be strong for him.

Tomoyo found it that he was actually very hungry. He hadn't eaten much since Kasumi had died... He began to sob again thinking about his little sister. He couldn't help it. He fell back sobbing, until he fell asleep, tear streaks on his cheeks.

She came back from the kitchen and saw him asleep on the couch. Adaa took a blanket and covered him, taking off his shoes before doing so. She breathed in deeply as she looked down at his face and stroked the hair back from his forehead. After a while she left to go back to her room. She had to get ready since she had a shoot later that day for a drama. She didnt have time for a shower, but she quickly washed her face an expertly applied makeup that would be easy to add on to later once at the shoot. She dressed and went back over to the couch where Tomoyo slept. Looking around she found a piece of paper and pen and jotted down a quick note telling him to stay as long as he wanted and she would be back that evening. She hoped he would still be there that night as she left the house, going to the company car that waited for her at the curb.

Tomoyo slept for hours, not even waking up until he heard the door when she got back. He sat up and rubbed his eyes.

She tried to be quiet, but she was pretty sure her feet were going to fall off. She was exhausted from being under hot lights and doing scene after scene, etc. The crying jags hadnt helped either. She stumbled over to the couch and jumped on it, forgetting Tomoyo was there. When she landed on him she realized her mistake. "Shit," she cursed as she lay there on top of him.

Tomoyo's blood shot eyes widened when she landed on him. He blushed. "I uh...hi?"

"uh...hi," she said, her face buried in his chest. She pushed herself up so she could look at him. "How are you," she asked, peering at his face and seeing the bloodshot eyes in the murky light of evening.

Tomoyo shrugged. "I've been better...." He mumbled.

"Oh..." She then realized she was still on top of him and blushed deeply.

Tomoyo sat up with her. He sniffled.

She blinked and scrambled off him, sitting next to him on the couch. She kept silent, biting her lower and not sure what to say in this situation.

Tomoyo sighed. "I miss her....." He mumbled. "If only I'd payed attention more..."

"You cant blame yourself..." She scooted closer to him and put an arm around him to lend comfort. "What happened was an accident, and its sad, its horrible, but it was an accident. You cant blame yourself for something that was an accident." She blinked back tears and turned to look at him. "You have to be strong. You have to live a happy life. Kasumi would have wanted that. She was always so happy. She would want you to be."

Tomoyo sobbed into her after she stopped talking. He knew she was right. But he couldn't help it. If he'd gone in sooner. If he had made her stay out and work. If if if...

"You know what the problem is with ifs? They are pointless. They only make you sad and they dont do anything." She turned to hold his easier, cradling him to her. "You just need to learn to accept and then make sure you live the happiest you can for her."

Tomoyo nodded against her, still sobbing. He felt terrible no matter what.

She stroked his hair and held him closer, rocking him slowly. She began to hum soothingly as she swayed back and forth.

Tomoyo must have been crying for hours, because his eyes dried and finally he fell asleep against her humming and rocking. He didn't know if he'd ever be okay without his little sister. She was his little sister who died. His little sister who loved Adaa and stared at the screen of his phone all night. Who loved coloring and jumping around. Who would never be able to go to highschool, meet a guy, fall in love, go to college, get married have kids. Who would never be able to live again...

She sat there as she held him, barely daring to breath in case of waking him up. She knew it would take a long time for him to heal from this. She began to hum again, it was the only thing she could do to lend comfort.

Tomoyo woke up hours later. He looked up at her, and kissed her. He was surprised he did it, but he had.

She woke up to her lips being touched by anothers. "Tomoyo," she murmured, leaving her eyes closed.

Tomoyo didn't say anything, just continued to kiss her. He moved a hand behind her head, tangling in his blonde hair.

Her hand brushed through his hair as she kissed him back, her mind foggy. She had no idea where she was, who she was, all she knew was Tomoyo.

Tomoyo reached up with a free hand and removed his glasses, setting them on the table, while he kissed her.

She pulled him closer, her breath sighing out as she continue kiss him. Her fingers ran through his hair, pulling slightly as the passion built.
