Tristan was sitting alone on a high tree branch. The forest was such a peaceful place and the noises that came from it still made him feel sleepy. There was a different noise then, a soft flute like noise coming from directly below him. Foregetting about it, Tristan relaxed back onto his branch and fell asleep...


The next thing he knew, he was falling from the brance he had recently been sat on. He must have fallen asleep and was not tumbling to the ground. Rather than doing what any ordinary person would do when hurtling to the ground from a mile up would do and scream, he simply relaxed and felt safe in the fact that the Earth could never hurt him. Concertrating, Tristan made it so that the groung beneither him was soft and gentle, and when he hit it, he would simply bounce back up again like a trampoline.

Yawning once more, Tristan looked down to see a girl sitting below him. "DAMN!" he shouted and had to then think fast. Concertrating again he pulled the roots form under the ground to protect her like a cage and built earth over the top of the newly formed cage. When he hit it, he simply rolled onto the floor. Removing the earth and tree from around the girl, Tristan glared at her. "What the HELL were you doing?" she shouted at her, getting off the floor and brushing off the dirt that was now on him.

"You sent me to sleep up there! It's your damn fault I fell from the tree! AND I saved your life, I would have killed you if not for my quick thinking!" Tristan shouted. He didnt want to let on at how beautiful he thought she was, and how perfect her skin looked and how gorgeous her eyes were. Especially because she looked so much cuter when she was shouting at him.

Tristan laughed sarcastically when the girl shouted that he had some nerve. How dare she? If anyone had 'nerve' it was him. "I think you'll find that Im on watch. And YOU made me fall asleep with your music playing, and then I fell from the tree! I'm supposed to be watching so that if anyone tries to cross our borderline, I can warn the clan!" she shouted back in her face.
"What were YOU doing under the damn tree?" he hissed at her.

Tristan chuckled when he heard the girl's stomach growling. "Hungry much?" he smiled and stopped shouting at her. "I'm sorry about all that" he said, hoping that they could forget about it and get some food.

When Tristan made the girl smile, he suddenly felt proud of himself. She had been so cold and emotionless since he had met her, and how he saw that when she smiled she was beautiful. Even more beautiful than when she was angry. "So, what is your naim fair lady?" she smiled cheekily and half bowed to her.

Tristan smiled widely as Dusk copied his gesture and bowed when she asked his name. "My name, sweet Dusk, is Tristan" he smiled and walked over to her. Kneeling before Dusk, Tristan smiled and put his hand across his heart. "With all of my heart, I am sorry! I almost killed you before, and then had the nerve to shout at you for it. Your music is beautiful, just like its player. Please forgive my selfishnes" Tristan said it all with his hand still firmly over his heart, and when he had done, he looked to the ground and awaited Dusk's reply.

"I am sweet!" Tristan smiled and then "Here, taste me!" he joked, holding his hand up to Dusk. She looked so cute when she blushed.

"Jeesh, I was joking" he sighed and got to his feet.

Tristan smiled when Dusk asked if he were okay. It seemed she was warming to his boyish charms, so to speak. "I'm perfect now" he smiled mischeviously and then added "Are you okay from me falling on you?" hoping that she would fully forgive him for his fall and also for trapping her in a cage of wood.
