Pretty soon they had arrived back at the Tokyo settlement and they were making their way back to the school.
"What do we tell people when the ask where the three of us have been?" Kiara asked. SHe immediately looked to Raina. "You're better at coming up with excuses then I am."
"Nothing embarrassing please," Lelouch muttered.

"What exactly do you class as "embarrassing?"" Raina teased. "Because if an orgy-"
"No!"
"All right then," sighed Raina. "Just say we went with you to the chess gambling place you go to then if anyone asks."

Kiara smirked at Lelouch's bright red face before high fiving Raina behind his back as they entered the campus grounds. They were immediately noticed by Milly who immediately rushed to them.
"Hey! Where have you guys been?"
"No hwere interesting," Kiara said off handedly. Lelouch gave her a warning look and Kiara tried not to smirk.
"Ooh? Anywhere I know? What wer eyou doing?" Milly asked excitedly.
"It wasn't that interesting," Kiara shrugged.

"Chess gambling!" said Raina excitedly. "And then afetr Lelouch won three games we took the money and -"
"Gambling again?" laughed Milly. "How cute! Anyway, we're all having pizza, and there's still some left."

Kiara's ears perked up at the sound of Pizza.
"Do you ever eat anything else?" she asked Milly.
"Yup" We don't have it for breakfast after all," Milly pointed out happily. Kiara gave her a deadpan look before following the blonde to the council room with Lelouch and Raina.

Raina grabbed two slices before proceeding to sit on the table right in front of where Suzaku was sitting, forcing him to move his own plate of pizza around her.

Kiara rolled her eyes at Raina before grabbing a slice of pizza and sitting down, on a chair, near her friend and gesturing for Lelouch to sit beside them.
"Does anyone know where Shirley is?" Nina asked them timidly.
"Not got a clue," Kiara replied honestly. SHe didn't know if Shirley had made her way back from Narita or not and she didn't know exactly where Shirley was so she wasn't lying. "How 'bout you Raina? Lelouch?"

"I think she's still all miserable about her dad dying," said Raina, "accidentally" kicking Suzaku as she crossed her legs. "She probably wants to be alone for a while."

"True," Milly said, sighing. "It really is a shame, you never think it'll happen to you or someone you know..."
Kiara looked out the window. Her mind was far away, back at Narita and fixed on the conversation that they'd had with Mao.
"Hello!" Milly called. "Earth to Kiara! Anyone in there?"
Kiara gave her a deadpan look. "I'm here," she answered dully.

"Something's up with you today..." said Milly.
"is something bothering you?" asked Suzaku, dodging Raina's legs as she began to swing them. "Are you not feeling well?"

"I'm okay," Kiara replied almost too quickly. "I'm just a bit distracted that's all. It'll pass," she dismissed it and shrugged her shoulders.
"You sure?" Suzaku asked.
"Positive," she almost snaps but manages to stop herself, snapping really wouldn't help convince them that she was fine.

"Latest Bleach!!!!!!!" said Raina, jumping off the table (much to Suzaku's relief) and grabbing the best spot in front of the TV.

Kiara was instatnly out of her seat and beside Raina as the TV was turned on and they prepared to watch the episode. Her eyes were fixed on the screen.
"I hope Yami dies soon," she said. "He's really starting to annoy me, more than usual that is."

"Trash?! HOW DARE YOU CALL ULQUIORRA TRASH!!!!" Raina screamed at the screen. "Only Ulquiorra gets to call people that!!!"

"Don't punch the TV," Kiara suggested. "You won't hit him anhd you'll jsut hurt yoru own hand." She gently but firmly grabbed Raina's right arm and made sure she didn't jump out of her seat. The rest of the council were giving Raina slightly worried looks. "Don't look at her like that!" Kiara snapped at them. "You should be used to it by now!"

Raina stopped wailing when a clip of Ulquiorra camje up on the screen. She dived for the remote and hit the pause button. Clutching the remote to her, she stared at the screen.

Kiara rolled her eyes before mouthing 'obsessed much?' to the other council members over Raina's head. She was still staring at the TV screen.

Eventually, Rivalz managed to wrestly the remote out of Raina's grip and unpaused it. Ulquiorra disappeared. Raina glared at Rivalz.

Kiara grinned as Unohana appeared on the screen. Unohana was her favourite female Taicho while Toshiro was her favourite male Taicho.
"Go Unohana!" she cheered. Everyone looked at her. "What? You know she's cool! The other captains are scared of her!"
"How do you know that?" Nina asked.
"She gives them this 'look'," Kiara explained. "That and it's her that's responsible for treating them when they're hurt. A lot may not respect the fourth division but they HAVE to fear Unohana and respect her since she has their lives in her hands."
"If you say so..." Rivalz muttered. Kiara glared at him.
"She is the second best Shinigami Taicho. She's the best female Captain and Toshiro is the best male captain!"

"I don't know..." said Milly. "I mean, Byakuya, he's hot."
"If we're discussing hotness, then Mayuri wins hands down when it comes to the captains," said Raina. "Without his creepy mask of course."

"True," Kiara admitted. "They're both good. But if we're talking about cuteness then Shiro-chan wins hands down! He's just so cute! Not to mention Yachiru! She's absolutely adorable!"

"Yes, but we're discussing the Captains," said Raina. "Kenpachi wouldn't be so bad if he didn't have the scars."
"And the eyepatch," said Milly.
"Yeah, but he does take the eyepatch off sometimes, doesn't he?"

"Men, Byakuya and Kurotsuchi are probably the hottest out of all of them though," Kiara admitted. "In terms of power though I'd have to say that they're all pretty kickass. How'd we start this conversation again?"

"I dunno," said Raina. "Oh well, that's that episode done. Too bad next one's filler." She sighed and turned the TV off.

"Fillers ruin the story," Kiara said dully. "I mean, the Zanpakuto filler wasn't too bad, beter than the bount filler anyway, but it was still a filler. The bits at the end are always funny though so at least that's something."
