"I think the teachers would," said Raina. "C'mon, it's break time! Let's join the others in the council room!"

As they entered the council room they saw the others were all there.
"Hey," Milly greeted them. "Why weren't you two in class this morning?"
"Slept in," Kiara muttered. "Too tired to get up."
"Really?" Milly asked curiously. "Why's that?"

"Lelouch kept us up late last night," Raina answered honestly. When she didn't hear Lelouch protest, she looked around, confused. "Huh? He isn't here?"
"He wasn't in class either," said Milly. "Although that's nothing new."

Kiara looked at Raina. Was it black knight business? He most likely would've woken them up if it was wouldn't he?
"Maybe he's doing what we did and getting some extra sleep," Kiara suggested. "Last night was pretty tiring."
"What were you doing?" Milly asked curiously.

Raina looked Milly in the eye. "Do you really want to know?" she asked teasingly.
Milly laughed. "I guess not! Anyway, I'd best go now! Bye everyone!"
Rivalz began to wail. "Presideeeeeeent!!!"
"Is this your new suitor you're going to see?" asked Raina.

Kiara looked over to Milly curiously. New suiter?
Milly looked back at Raina.
"Yes," she replied.

"Anyway, I'd best go," said Milly. "Byee ~"
Raina waved goodbye and joined Suzaku and Kallen who were feeding Arthur.

The black cat yawned and stretched lazily as it was fed.
"That cat gets spoilt rotten," Kiara commented. The cat looked over at her and she swore it smirked at her before turning it's head back to Suzaku who held out some food to Arthur. The cat munched on it happily. "Definitely spoilt."

Suddenly, Lelouch burst into the room, looking incredibly out of breath. Heis eyes searched the room before turning back.
"Huh? Is something wrong?" asked Suzaku.
"No, it's nothing," siad Lelouch hurriedly, leaving the room.
"I wonder if he's gambling again..." said Kallen.

"I don't think so," Kiara muttered. She looked over to Raina before she jumped from her seat and ran after him. It didn't take her too long to catch up to him since he wasn't running as fast as he could have been with his long legs.
"You know," she told him as they ran. "You really need to get mroe excercise, then you could run faster."
"Not now," he replied.
"What's wrong?" Kiara replied, suddenly serious.
"Mao kidnapped Nunnally"
'Uh oh,' Kiara thought.

(This is when taht happens right?)

*No, he knows she's been kidnapped because Mao leaves a picture of her and phones him to taunt him*

(Oh, fergot about that. I'll just edit the post)

Raina, who had followed Kiara, blinked. "I thought Mao was dead."
"So did I," said Lelouch, producing a picture from his pocket. It showed Nunally, tied up in her wheelchair and gagged. "He's phoned me too. I know he's within 500 metres because he can read my mind right now."

"That's not good," Kiara muttered. "And the same thing probably won't work twice with him so what's the plan? Do we know where Nunnally is? What's he want? Besides revenge obviously."

"I don't know," said Lelouch with frustration. "He knows that C.C. isn't here, that she's gone off to the Chinese Federation... that's why he's doing this now. Because no one else is unaffected by his geass."
"Well the first step is to find Nunally," said Raina. "If he's within 500 metres she can't be outside the school grounds. Do you have any clues?"
"Well... when he phoned me there was the sound of running water."

"A sewer maybe?" Kiara suggested. They'd stopped running by now, Lelouch's body just couldn't handle all the physical strain and he was leaning against a nearby wall for support. "Do you know if there's anything like that under the academy?"
"There should be," Lelouch replied.
"And it's perfect for a rat like him to hide in," Kiara pointed out.

"There's a place underneath the fountain int he grounds," said Raina.
Lelouch looked at her.
"I like to know stuff, OK?!"

Kiara rolled her eyes at Raina before turning back to Lelouch.
"So what do we do?" she asked. "I mean, we can't exactly plan something, he'll know what we're gunna do and counter it since I doubt he'll fall for the same trick twice."
Lelouch paused to consider, a frown going accross his face.

"We don't have any choice," said Lelouch. "C.C.'s not here, and she's the only one immune to his geass. We have to find Nunally. He told me that she'll die if I go to the police or get the Black knights to help."

"Well," Kiara muttered. "That's not good, got any ideas Raina?"

(I can remember taht Suzaku helped I think but I can't remember how they managed it. I just know that they somehow tag teamed Mao)

"Well if he can read our minds then a plan is useless," shrugged Rana. "Let's just go save Nunally."
"I cna hack the lift to get us down below ground level," said lelouch.

As they reached the door that would lead them down below Lelouch began punching numbers into the key pad.
"It's changed," he muttered. "I'll need to hack into the system."
"Isn't there an easier way to do it?" Kiara asked.
"Done," Kira blinked. "That was fast."
"The student council has partial access to these areas," Lelouch explained.

(Just checking but I think I got that right. Anything I miss?)

"But he'll know we'll do this, won't he?" said Raina. "There'll be a trap waiting for us."
"Stay to the edges of the lift, so that you're not in the open when the doors open," said Lelouch.

As they reached the bottom of the elevator shaft the doors slid open. They'd done as Lelouch said and as Kiaralooked out her eyes widened.
"That's not good," she muttered. "That's a machine gun if I'm not mistaken. Raina, can you deflect the bullets long enough for one of us to get to it and shut it down?" She didn't want to throw a fireball at it. Bullets and a fire ball...not exactly the best combination and she wasn't sure if she was close enough to use her Geass on it.

"At this range?" Raina gulped. The rate of fire for a machine gun was high. She nodded. "I'll do my best. I won't be able to keep it up for long, though. You've gotta be quick at doing at whatever it takes to get rid of that thing."
