Anyone going to see "Vampires Suck" film? (Twilight spoof)
I saw a trailer for Vampires Suck (the Twilight spoof film) and it looks super funny!
(hope no one will be all... "OMG how dare they mock Twilight!" because it's all in fun.) :] I do think there will be theatres getting some death threats by diehard Edward/Jacob fans though. Heh. |
I actually do want to see this one, I just think it will be funny. I also hate Twilight so that will be good too.

OMG i can't wait to see it!!! I loved the previews, everytime i saw one i was LOLing!!!^^ Now i don't "hate" twilight but i can't stand the series, as i read it i kept hoping Bella would die, so i look forward to the mockery in Vampires Suck.

Yeah I can't wait to see it. The actor that plays James looks exactly like the real one? Would be funny if it was the same guy. Hahaha.

I used to be a huge fan of the books until the movies/popularity/screaming fangirls came along. I am rather excited to see this though. It looks awesome. :3 |
@muhreenah: Ditto.. I hope it isn't like nightlight, I mean it was take the piss yes, but it went a little far, I didn't find it funny.

@carzeebear - I found nightlight to be a HUGE disappointment. I expected more from the Harvard Lampoon - it lacked the subtle humor I admire so dearly.
Although, from the Vampires Suck trailer...I detect no trace of subtlety at all. But I think it'll be fine in this case. :) |
Tshyeah, I'm definitely gonna see it. I love Twilight (and I'm not afraid to show it) but I love parody movies even more.

I think I will just wait until it comes out on net flix or something. It looks like it could be really funny, but I think to really appreciate it I would have to watch the real series first which I may do at some point and then at that time will I watch the spoof they have on this series so I can get and understand the humor better. I think I may rent them tomorrow or something like that.

It looks like it's going to be one of those typical parody movies where all the jokes are over the top, and yet most of them are based on what everyone is thinking anyway. When I saw the joke in the commercial about Jacob having to take his shirt off every ten minutes because it's in his contract... I thought that was too funny!
I'll admit I really like the Twilight series, and I've read all the books and seen all the movies. And I still thought that too. So many shirtless scenes, ha ha! I can't wait to go see it and see what other ridiculous jokes are in there! And of course, so more hotties in shirtless screen time! :wink: |
I want to go see this really bad. Though, a part of me (the part that paid to see Meet the Spartans) is worried that the funniest parts have been in the trailers. However, it does look funny, I just wish movies weren't so expensive. :illgetu:
I'm also a fan of the books and have seen the first two movies. I think the movies aren't very good because I think the acting is atrocious so I'm not surprised that a spoof came out so quickly. I make jokes about the meeting with the producers only being three minutes long because all they had to say was "Twilight Spoof" and the producer wrote a check. xD |

I'm 100% convinced that this movie is going to suck. You can just tell with these stupid parody movies, all their funniest jokes are always in the previews and even those have failed to particularly entertain me. I wish people would stop going to see these ridiculous parody things, then they would stop being made >___>;;
However it'll probably make a decent amount of money anyway because capitalizing on the Twilight haters is not a bad idea at all. At ALL. |

Think of it as 'Scary Movie' or something, and just a bit of a spoiler, that's going to probably be the only Vampires Suck movie; due to its ending..

I saw it last week it was pretty stupid, but it was suppose to be. At the same time it was pretty comical with its randomness. I just find it hilarious that they guy, who was playing Edward looked more the part, than the original Edward they cast XD I think my favorite part besides Bella getting hurt so much, was the dancing werewolf scene.

Not really a big fan of those 'mock' type of movies though, they are all so dry :/ Probably wont be going to the cinemas to see it, the movies are too pricey. But I might get it out from the video store or something |

I found it hilarious, I mean it takes pure comedians to think of some of the puns and other jokes in that movie. I don't think I could watch it over and over but hey it is an amazing movie to watch when your in need of some good laughs.

'vampires Suck' is just like those 'Scary movie' films. They aren't meant to be spectacular, they are meant to be stupid and make-fun. So what I expected from it was just about right. It had it's moments and it had its snooze moments as well. And as all these types of films have, they have their, "why the heck did they think that would be funny?!" moments as well. lols.
I do have my favorite scense though... SPOILER ALERT!! for those that have seen the movie, what were your favorite parts? Mine where, the 'Its raining men" scene when all the wolves are dancing shirtless. >< lols also the end of the movie when the Jocob fan hits edward upside the head with the wicked weapon, "Jacob B***h!". although sadly they had to follow up with Edward not being dead T_T |
