Isabella was shocked as he held her head to his chest. She looked up at him and smiled. "Well good morning" she said smiling wider. "HOw did you sleep?" she asked looking up at him with big eyes.

Kisuke smiled, "Morning, kid. I slept pretty nicely." Her eyes had changed in size. They seemed to be larger than normal. He chuckled at the sight.

Isabella looked at him confused. "What are you laughing about?" she asked wondering what she had done. But no matter what she was so happy that he wasn't letting go of her and leaving but he was staying close to her.

Kisuke smiled. "It's nothin' kid." Still holding on to her, he took off his blankets. "Do you want some breakfast? My cooking's gotten a little better, than before." He shrugged.

Isabella nodded. "Yes I would love that" she said and giggled as she took his bracelets and put them on. She giggled looking up at him with a wide grin. "I think they look good on me" she giggled.

Yoichi was surprised as Lilly put her head in his lap and he chuckled grinning. He then stroked her head lightly and nodded. "Altight... I'm going to go change into some sleep pants in the bathroom and you should change too. It's late okay?" he said lightly and waited for her reaction.

Kisuke chuckled. "They do. You can wear them today if you like." He smoothly got out of bed and touseled with his hair. "What would you like to teat, Isabella?" Kisuke started walking to the kitchen,hoping she would scurry behind him.

Lilly nodded. She lowered her eyes to the slight tiny rejection she had been given, but shetried to play it off. She bit her lip and waited for him to change so that she could.

Isabella giggled happy that she could wear the bracelets. She ran after him and wrapped her arms around his big one. "What ever you want" she said smiling up at him and put her head on his arm. She rubbed her eyes sleepily and sighed. "Why can't we sleep in?" she asked smiling up at him sleepily.

Yoichi saw the flash of sadness in Lilly's eyes and kissed her forehead. "Hey I'll be back in a flash promise." he said softly and then hurried into the bathroom and closed the door behind him and quickly began to change knowing she didn't want to be alone.

Sakamae sighed contently as he got out of the shower, a hot water massage always felt nice after a good night's sleep. Gazing over at his clock he squeaked noticing the time "Ah, I'm going to be late". He throws his towel in the laundry basket before quickly adoning his school uniform. Picking up his bookbag and slinging it across his shoulder as he headed out the room, skipping past the kitchen on the way out. Upon reaching the gates he stops to catch his breath, blushing lightly under the sun, hoping he didn't miss Atsuko, for he was looking forward to walking to school with her.

Atsuko woke early and looked around. After taking a shower quietly she began making breakfeast and left it for her parents as she heard them get up. Squeeling in fright she grabbed her manga books and bookbag and ran. Her cute Jair flew out behind her and then she stopped at the gate. She was still really early so she waited. She wanted to talk to Sakamae on her way to school. But she fixed her cute school outfit and organized her bookbag for the day. She then looked up seeing Sakamae and waved. "Morning!" she called in her cute high pitched voice as she waved.

Sakamae kept looking at his watch, hoping that he didn't sleep in too long and missed Atsuko already. Quickly looking up as he heard Atsuko call out, snapping him out of his train of thought.. A blush growing on his cheeks as he saw her coming towards him, she looked so cute in her school outfit.. Hoping that she didn't notice, he quickly raises his hand and waves back, calling out "Morning Atsuko!"

Atsuko stopped as she met Sakamae and then hugged him. Her head came just under his chin and her grip was firm as she did before she slowly pulled away. "Im so happy you're walking with me.... Otherwise those mean boys would pick on me the whole way... But with you theyre probably too afraid to." she said lightly and smiled brightly. Adjusting her bow she blushes slighlty seeing him blush and then bit her lip. "Should we go now?" she asked softly wondering that aloud.

Sakamae was startled and caught off guard by the sudden hug, nervously moving his arms around Atsuko lightly, hugging her back. Enjoying the embrace and the smell of her sweet smelling hair. Smiling softly, raising his hand and pointing his thumb to his chest "No worries.. I shall protect you" Fidgeting slighlty where he stood "Um, yeah.. we should get going before we're late" He turns in the direction of the school, slowly extending his hand towards Atsuko

Atsuko smiled softly and then blushed as he said he would protect her. That had to be the nicest thing anyone had told her. Smiling warmly she nodded about ready to go when she stopped and looked at his hand. Blushing more she reached out with full trust and took his hand. "I trust you..." she whispered ever so softly and bit her lip gently. She didn't want people from her school making fun of Sakamae for holding her hand. So she just prayed that they wouldn't be seen like this or she would never be able to forgive herself for bringing the horrible bullies down upon Sakamae too.

Sakamae blushes feeling Atsuko take his extended hand, her hand felt so warm and soft. He gives her hand a light squeeze "And I trust you.." smiling sweetly "Shall we go." Slowly starting to walk towards the school, hand in hand with Atsuko.. Sakamae thought to himself, wishing that they didn't run into any bullies, for he didn't want them to pick on her.. and though he knew how to defend himself, he never liked hurting anyone

Atsuko smile softly and then began humming as they walked. "Have you seen the choir at school? They're so amazing..." she whispered softly and looked at him with big brown eyes. They sparkled as she looked at him and she brushed her hair out of her eyes. She then smiled sheepishly and then sighed. "Ive always wanted to sing... Have you ever wanted to do anything?" she asked softly.

Sakamae's head begin to subconsciously bop slighlty to the rhythm of Atsuko's humming, tilting his head to look at her "No I haven't.. I'm usually locked up in the library when not in class.. Hehe" giggles softly. A soft blush spreading on his cheeks as he looked into her eyes. The growing sunlight radiating her cuteness.. Quickly turning his head forward to hide his blush "I'm sure you'll make a great singer one day" whistling softly "Hmm, I haven't really thought about it honestly.. Avoiding bullies combined with schoolwork and reading has usually kept my mind busy" Using his free hand he brings a finger to his lips in thought "Though I guess probably something dealing with lots of books"

Atsuko smiled and blushed seeing Sakamae blush too. He then looked away and she tugged at her hair nervously and then giggled. "Well what about an author?" she asked lightly and looked at his handsome and beautiful silvery hair. She was so tempted to reach out and pet it. "I can see you becoming really famous for your amazing books." she said and nodded. As they rounded the corner bullies where there and they turned around to see Atsuko and Sakamae and snickered. "Look it's the freaks! They're cousins and they're holding hands!" one called tauntingly and Atsuko's features saddened greatly and she looked at the ground.

Sakamae softly bit the inside of his lip out of nervousness, his silvery hair seeming to glitter in the sunlight. Tilting his head upon hearing her suggestion "Hmm, maybe.. Though I've never really tried writing my own story before.. Usually I just read them". As they rounded the corner and Sakamae noticed the bullies, his body tensed slightly hoping they wouldn't push their taunts today. Seeing Atsuko lower her head he gently squeezed her hand, speaking softly so that only she may hear "Dont worry Atsuko, as Barai always says.. Ignore the ignorant and pray for the dumb"

Arsuko bit the inside of her lip and nodded slowly. It was hard to think that way. The bullies them walked ip to them and snickered and made fun of Atsuko mostly for likingthe book worm cousin. She closed her eyed bravely trying to block it all out and trying to get around them her eyes welling with tears. They then pushed her making her fall on the side walk and grabbed her bag from her. "No please!" she cried out holding her knee that had been scraped badly ripping threw her stocking. The boys snickered and mocked her and waved it just out of her reach as she vainly tried streching for it since her knee hurt too much. "Please...." she whimpered tears falling down her cheeks.

Sakamae held onto Atsuko's hand, trying to get through the bullies. Stopping in his tracks as Atsuko was pushed away, raising his voice towards the lead bully "That's enough. Give her back her bag and leave us alone". Sakamae tried to move over to Atsuko's side but was blocked by the other bully. Upon seeing Atsuko crying, Sakamae took a deep breath, trying to remember what Bairai taught him. He quickly pushed the bully in front of him out of the way, rushing to the lead bully. Reaching the lead bully, Sakamae slipped his leg between the bullies, using his knee to hit and push against the back of the bully's knee while Sakamae grabbed the bully's arm, forcing him into a kneeling postion. Sakamae quickly finished the maneuvar by swinging his free arm around the bully's neck, locking him in a head lock "I said that's enough"

Atsuko's eyes widened in shock as Sakamae took out the main bully. Making the bully cry and drop her bag. the rest of the boys ran and then Atsuko got up painfully and took her bag up. She then put her had on Sakamae's shoulder. "Let him go Sakamae." she said softly wincing at her knee she bit her lip and looked at Sakamae softly.

Sakamae held the bully down, moving his head to watch as Atsuko got up. Upon hearing her, Sakamae slid his leg back, unwrapping his arm from around the bully. His arm holding onto the bully's arm, pushing forward, pushing the bully away from him and Atsuko. Turning to look at Atsuko "Sorry you had to see that.. Are you o.." before finishing he notices the scrap on Atsuko's knee, kneeling down before her. He takes off his school tie and wraps it around Atsuko's knee "We should hurry to the nurse's office

Atsuko watched as the bully cried and ran. She blushed as Sakamae took off his tie and placed it upon her wound. Wincing softly and then looked at Sakamae. "I'm okay... thank you so much Sakamae..." he whispered and then kissed his cheek. Putting her arm around his shoulder her blush didn't leave her cheeks. "Can you help me there? It hurts.." she whispered embarrassedly. She was so sensitive the way it was, so pain was horrible. It was amazing that she could deal with her parents' beating that she was hiding.
