Personality: Normally bitter, cold and rude toward others. He likes things to go his way and has never had a fondness for anyone. He likes to go against rules and would rather be by himself

Chanelle Walked along the shore of the beach, her bare feet sinking into the wet sand and her dark hair curled and hanging over her shoulders, glistening in the evening sunlight. She had on a halter top sun dress that hung around her knees in little waves and a few silver necklaces hanging from her neck. From afar she'd look like she was ok, but if you looked closing you could see a few tear streaks on her cheeks, and the other pair of footsteps that were with hers ha already stopped a few minutes back.

She looked back towards where she'd left him, fresh tears spilling from her blue eyes and she eventually sat down, hugging her knees and wiping her eyes. How do you get over something like that, somebody stealing your heart and than they throw it away for another girl. How?

She looked out at the clear blue ocean and began to sob again. She left her home back in T, left her family and friends, abandoned her college and job, just to come here and be with him, and he just cast her aside? More than making her sad it made her angry.

She sighed, calming her thoughts and leaning her head against her knees, closing her eyes for a moment and drifting off.

The bright sunlight barely shined down deep inside the ocean. It's waves gently washed ashore. His eyes shined brightly like orbs of light high in the sky. His tail flipped sharply down on a fish. The blood clouded the surrounded water. His pale hand reached out, grabbing the fish. He took a bit and rested down on the bottom, sand rose around him but didn't bother him. He munched on the fish. His white hair flowing around his head.

It was a normal day for him. Eat, explore, rest. He decided he wanted a change. Ziel slowly released the half eaten fish. He shot up, breaking the water far from the shore. His eyes had changed color to a dull golden color. He opened his mouth, tasting the fresh salty air. His black tail swished back and fourth under the water, creating large ripples around him. His eyes lazily scanned the shore. A single person caught his eye.

A clawed hand grabbed onto his tail, pulling him under the water. "What do you think you are doing?" He snapped, batting down at his older sister's head. "Saving your life. You know we are not allowed to get that close." Ziel moved away from her, letting himself sink to the bottom.

Ziel slowly rose up, trying to get away from his sisters. He kept his eyes down, staring at the wild water. Something bumped into his head, causing him to look up. He gasped, spotting the girl. He knew they could not breath under water. It was a death trap. He grabbed onto her waist, pulling her up to the surface. The water pushed him towards the surface. He struggled to place her far enough that she could not be pulled back in.

He watched the girl with growing curiosity. Was she alive? What should he do? He was surfaced now, only the tip of his tail in the water. He reached out and touched his fingers to her wrist. His youngest sister had taught him humans had a tick in their wrist that showed they were alive. He felt it.

It was a strange movement under her damp skin. He swallowed, eying the waves. He was starting to feel tired. His eyes were heavy with sleep. He had to get back. He was starting to dry up. He started to slide himself back into the dark ocean, his eyes never leaving the girl's form.

He resurfaced, watching her get up and walk away. He watched her legs in wonder. His eyes dipped, noticing the note. He stretched out his arm and dug his finger into the sand and drew crud stick figure. He didn't know much about the human words but he guessed he was a good thing. He frowned, laying his head down on the sand.

He watched the sky until it started to rain. He slipped into the water slowly, once again letting himself sink deep down to be safe from the storm. A quick wave caught hold of him, moving him farther away from his home. He reached down, trying to grab onto a large rock. His fingers slipped and he lost control as the storm moved him farther and farther away. His tail moved roughly as a last effort of staying put but the ocean was stronger.

Chanelle went into her flat, going into her bathroom and strip her clothes and rinse off the salt water than dried off, slipping into her arm soft bathrobe and going into her living room, sitting on the couch and wondering about the person. Would they reply? Did they even exist?

She sighed, laying down and closing her eyes to get some sleep.

Ziel was pushed up shore until he was trapped between two large rocks. His body felt numb and his skin felt warm. He had never felt so warm before and wasn't sure if he liked it. He tried moving, only to have a small amount of his tail torn off. Bright red blood oozed from his side, streaming down his shiny black tail. He bit his bottom lip and pulled his tail free. He sat on land, gasping down the air.

His body ached and felt as if it was on fire. He was tangled in a brown cloth and was starting to have trouble moving. There was no way he could make it back into the sea. He was glad the rain kept falling, keeping his tail wet even through on land.

The thick flesh of his tail had slowly and painfully split in two, forming human legs. By the time the transformation had ended he was in so much pain he had passed out. The large brown cloth was still wrapped around him like a blanket. The storm had passed and left a strange calmness on the shore.

Ziel's hair was spread out, hiding his pale face. His hands were stretched out, reaching into the sand, as if he was trying to push himself away from the shore. His nails were a strange gray color and his eye color had faded to gold. His chest was moving up and down slowly like he was asleep.

Ziel's eyes snapped opened. His eyes went wide upon seeing her. His head ached like a rock had fallen down on it. He groaned and stared at her, wondering what to say. Had she known he had saved her? He sat up; remembering his tail was in plain sight but when he looked down, he saw only legs.

He bent over, gently touching his legs in wonder. He looked out at the ocean and made a low rumbling sound. He knew by now his family was searching for him and would wind up thinking he was dead. Not that he would mind that too much.

"Ok?" He mumbled, staring down at his legs. "Are you ok? I helped you." He said, glancing up at her. The dull ache had left his body making him feel sleepy. "I'm ok. I think...Through these aren't suppose to be here." He said, running his hand through his white hair.

Bubbles rose from nearby. He could sense his oldest sister but made no move to contact her. He had always wanted to see the world outside of the ocean, this was his chance. He would just have to learn how to use his legs. He already had the breathing part down.

He looked at her hand, unsure what to do with it. He slowly grabbed onto it and tried to pull himself up. His legs were shaking badly and he slipped, losing his balance and fell. "Ow..."He mumbled and grabbed onto her again this time standing. He wanted to use them so bad, walk and move forward. It seemed his body was unsure how to deal with the new limbs.

He watched her closely and copied her movements. He grinned. "Hm...It looks so easy."He said. He started to get the hang of it but still a bit clumsy. He shivered from her warm touch. Were all humans this warm? He had been so used to the icy ocean ground but he had to admit the warm sun did feel good on his skin.

It made him feel alive in a way. "What is your name?" He asked, smiling at her. He was getting lost in her eyes. He snapped out of it, reminding himself that is was against all the rules to even talk to a human...let alone start to like them.

"I am Ziel. " He said with a slight nod like he was proud of the fact. He paused, trying to get his footing. "I like it here." He said, glancing around him. He knew he was safe with this girl, after all he did save her and that meant something right? He at least had someone to show him around.

He wobbled a bit and sat next to her. "The sea. Where did you come from?" He asked, reaching out to touch his legs. His mind felt fuzzy, what had happened to him? There was a storm and he was trapped between the rocks...but how did he get legs if his tail was wet from the rain? That he wanted to know but having the chance to be apart of the human world was much more thrilling.
