Even xxMore xxfriends xxof xxMineral xxTown

Good Day Reader!,
Are you interested in the serene life? City life far too much for someone of your speed? You wish to relax on a lush green field surrounded by the beautiful crops and animals you love so much. But also get the satisfaction of raising even the smallest egg into a chicken so great, it can lay gold. Or even how about feed and grooming your very own pony each day. Then being able to ride the beautiful animal into town. Not to mention becoming self sufficient in the small town. Just feel free to call this number.....

What a good read.. right? Well, you arrive at the place listed in the newspaper to find it is a very old, unkind piece of land. There are weeds everywhere. Cracks in the earth. Even the barn has a hole in the roof. The owner of the land died just short a few years before. Even his grandson who came to live on the land, moved after just two seasons. Little to say, you are less than please... But still, you decide to give it a try. What could happen after all? Although, one thing you must know. The Mayor feels horrible for what you have gone threw. Therefore you are given a choice. You see, many of the residents have left the town. Leaving such things as a chicken farm, and a grocery store undertaken care of. So if you do not feel up to it, there are many other choices. What will you choose?

:Rules:

-No spamming, flaming god-modding, or anything that would break the Menewsha T.o.s

-This will be a slow moving Rp. I work and I am making this rule because I hate coming back to read five pages after a long day at work. (or partying)

-Do not leave any body out. On that same note, do not post and expect someone to go out of their way to speak with you. Interact!

-Creative Characters Please. If you see somebody with a similar profile to yours, change it.

-On that note, I am going ask everyone plays two characters. One boy and one girl You can play more, but I just want to keep things even.

-I have a set age because I am one of those old fashion people that find if very weird to see a 16-year old dating someone in their 20's. Pm me if you want to play a younger or older character. They are welcomed! Don't get me wrong! xD

-I am allowed to add, subtract, and multiply the rules as I see fit. But I also must inform you about it.

Birthday:
Summer 13
Likes: Work, Town events, Soba Noodles, Wild Grape Juice, Wine
Information: The Mayor of the town. He is most noted for his strapping signature red coat and top hat. He does own a cane, and is rarely scene without that accessory. Even during the hot summer days, The mayors dresses in the same fashion. It just seems to be family tradition. He has a very cheery attitude, and rarely seems to get angry.

Birthday:
Winter 21
Likes: Water, people, Work, long runs, Cucumber, Strawberry, Tomato, Wine
Information: Ships most anything the towns people gives to him, and sells them to the main city. Jack is a very strong headed and overpowering individual. He is very tall, and big. Very loud when he simply speaks. There is a joke around town about him that you can hear the man a mile away. Jack's personality is the opposite though. He can be a very sweet person when you warm up to him. On the other hand, he loves to crack jokes. Each day he makes his rounds, so you will more than likely meet him soon.

My name is Melor Manoer
I am only 20 years old
I am also a Boy
My birthday is Fall 21
I live inside of the town.
Oh! I am the owner the vineyard just inside of the town. I live there with my sister.
Some of my favorite things are Old wine, Tempura, grapes, and sun
And I believe my most noticeable traits are my Nice clothes, bright purple eyes, very dark black hair.
I am here simply because I am the older brother, and twin to Melia. After seeing what I saw years ago, we ran away. That thing being us walking in on his father with not one, but three women besides his mother. It was not even the fact that I saw it, but that Melia was standing right behind them. I did not want my younger sister to have to go threw our parents fighting, and a divorce soon after. I do still speak with his mother though. Sending her letters every now and then. My fears have come true. She did end up divorcing my father, but there is more to it. My mother, being the caring women she is, will not tell me though. I am a very protective brother after that incident. Never wanting my sister to go threw what our mother went threw. We moved here after seeing an ad in the paper two years ago. Although we were just children, many thought we would up and leave. Little did they know, we have become very succiful. Even paying off our home just one month ago.

All around, I am a pretty quiet person. Never saying too much to beat around the bush. Some would call me blunt, but I just like to think of it as getting right to the point. When my sister is speaking to someone who threaten us, I am right by her side. This creeps some out, but they much get used to it.

Oh! I am the co-owner of the vineyard. My older brother being the owner.
Some of my favorite things are Grapes, Boiled Egg, sun, town events, and flowers.
And I believe my most noticeable traits are my bright purple eyes, light attitude, hard worker.
I am here simply because I am the younger sister and twin of Melor. We moved to the small town years ago with my brother. I am the daughter to their father's business. Our Real real name is very big in the city, and we are known for being a very wealthy family. Melor and I moved to the town to get away from it all. Even changing our last names. We may seem like spoiled brats for running away years ago, but we did have their reasons. Not much is honestly known about us. But we make it that way. You see, Melor and I can be very smooth talkers. Gaining that from our father sadly. Melor is also the key to our success. He is the reason we are doing so well in the small town. Melor can be overly protective of me though. I know why though, so it does not bother me at all.

I can be a very open person, but closed at te same time. I do not go into explaction most of the time, and make myself out to be a bit of an air head. Though when I feel so, I can be even brighter than my genies of a brother.

Oh! I am the owner of the small dinner
Some of my favorite things are apples, my cat and my dinner.
And I believe my most noticeable traits are my grey eyes and i try to be a hard worker.
I am here simply because of everyone. I use to live in town and my life was absolutely perfect. I had everything i could ever want and I was going to be a chief. But that all changed when I was in a car accident when I was 16 and I lost my sight. Now everyone in my family thinks it is to dangerous for me to do anything and they always have someone with me. I hate it. So for three years I got use to being blind and now you cant hardly tell that I am now. But my parents still act like I am a infant and that I need to be watched. So right after I graduated I headed out to this town and I opened my dinner only a few months ago.

For a blind girl I am tough, I can take a hit and yet I am probably the nicest girl you will ever met. I am very caring and I love my little cat that I have. I am still a very good cook and I just love to talk to anyone.

My birthday is fall 1
I live outside the town
Oh! I am the waiter at the dinner
Some of my favorite things are fish, hot food and swimming
And I believe my most noticeable traits are that I am very outgoing and I am not afraid to do anything.
I am here simply because my parents use to take me here when I was little and I fell in love with the place. I came to live here right after I graduated school. But after I came I realized i had no money or house to call my own so I ended up working as a waiter in the dinner that just opened and staying there.

I am very nice and out going but I do have a dark side at times. I can be very quiet too, so quiet that you probably will forget I am there but when you get to talk to me I am very fun and easy to talk to.

Oh! I am the Inn Keeper
Some of my favorite things are Smiles, laughing, having fun, entertaining, and decorating.
And I believe my most noticeable traits are my heavy accent at times and my need for things to be perfect. Don't stand in my way or you'll be moved I promise you.
I am here simply because I had served in one of the most renowned Inns back home in my dear mother country. My mistress had got word that there was a position open here. She turned her nose up to it as only a really french man would. Though I liked the idea of the country being out in the middle of no where. There would be no high classed people to keep up and keep happy. Instead I figured I could enjoy the beauty of the countryside and grow myself a guardian and raise some animals just like I had always wanted too. I quite my job and boarded a boat. Once I got here I was rather disappointed until I took the Mayor up on his offer. He knew my record as one of the best Mangers at the Inn I have served. That is how my little Inn came to be just outside the edge of town as well as me. Here I bring the style of my home and the beauty and simplicity of the country together and offer a relaxing stay to those who come. My rooms are clean and simple I promise. I will have nothing besides perfect. My animals are all clean and well mannered even my dear chickens. Don't be surprised if you find them inside the Inn they give the place some life besides the flowers and plants.

My name is Joe Thomas Black
I am only 20 years old
I am also a Boy
My birthday is Winter 7
I live outside of town
Oh! I am the Blacksmith
Some of my favorite things are long cool summer nights, good food, nice girls, and cool breezes.
And I believe my most noticeable traits are my always handy cowboy hat that I want go anywhere without. My clam demeanor and easy ways.
I am here simply because I happen to wander into the place one day and I haven't left. I work on my land when I can though most of my time is spent in my shop fixing things for everyone in town. I love making the trinkets for the dinner and the Inn. I must say the girls around here are one of a kind. Mama never had cooking like the girls around here do. I grew up on a ranch so farming and hard work is nothing out of the norm for me. Though I am happy that my skills with metal have came in handy here. Don't be afraid to stop by and say hi I promise I am rather friendly and will help you around the small place if you do some how manage to get lost.

I am here simply because I was kicked out of the family because the thought I wasn’t needed in the family anymore. “Done my job”, I should say. My younger sister, Amelia, was the favourite of the house. She was the one who finished college and got all those fancy diplomas, I was the one who’s head was somewhere else. I used to live in the city, when if you’re not high class, you’re not noticed. Personally, I found that all just stupid and a way to get people to work harder to impress people. Once my parents had had enough of me disappearing into the upstate house I rented, they finally decided to pack my bags and tell me to find another place to live. I couldn’t say I wasn’t unhappy, but a bit angry because I knew my sister had got to them. She was always like that, trying to be the goody-goody of the family. I drove off in my truck frustrated until I stumbled on this quiet place. It seemed nice and comfy, but not a soul in site. The breathtaking background and the opportunity-like chicken coop is what made me stay, and I’ll never be able to see my family again.

And I believe my most noticeable traits are My blue eyes, and my tendency to smile and help out a lot.
I am here simply because I saw the ad in the newspaper and thought it would be nice to work as a farmer for the village. When I came riding on my stallion, Chester, it was deserted, and not a soul in sight. I met the mayor after I took a look around. He seemed quite nice and offered me a small house to stay in. I decided to accept the offer and made a small vegetable farm. I can’t say it’s made me a fortune so far, but I’m not unhappy that I chose this life. Maybe I’ll meet some new friends, who knows. I just hope it hasn’t been a mistake telling my boyfriend that we needed to see some new people and then walking out on him…

I am here simply because Well, I ended up here because my younger brother thought that I was being to crazy in the city. We're from Los Angles so I grew up in the exact opposite place than here. I really did not want to, but of course he thought it would be a perfect change for us. It is a little annoying since I am his older sister, but I did not want him to leave me. I'll admit I do have clingy issues with my little brother. He's been my best friend so I'd follow any advice he would have in a heartbeat. I was a little crazy in the city, partying all the time drinking too much. I have a tattoo on my back and the inside lip.
Despite my past I'm a really nice girl. I like to talk and have fun (obviously). For a blonde I can be really thoughtful and philosophical sometimes.

Oh! I am the Fisherman & Seamster {I hate calling myself a seamstress}
Some of my favorite things are autumn smells, breezy days, nature, & home cooking.
And I believe my most noticeable traits are My strange almond shaped eyes, little smirk, and Jack-of-all trades skills.
I am here simply because My sister is a crazy partier. Honestly we're here because I take care of my older sister and she was getting out of control. The two of us are not actually blood related. She was adopted as a toddler because my parents couldn't have another baby. We call her Stacie, but she prefers her birth name. With us I take care of her and try to keep her under control, but it doesn't always work. And really, you think it would be the opposite way around!? Anyway so we moved here because she was going nuts back in LA. Parties every night a different boy in our apartment every night. Oh, and I forgot to mention, we moved out when I was eighteen. My parents wanted to leave for Canada and I wanted to finish my senior year at my high school so Stacie opted for an apartment to share with us. Of course we still talk to them. I think we're then newest two here. We own a little shop in the bottom of our house and we sell weird things and offer strange services. Well, like I sew things and can fix little things. Like I said, Jack-of-all-trades. Ask me to do something I can most likely do it. My favorite is fishign though that I sell off our porch.

XxXxXxXxX(x` ↪ Melor Manoer.x)
Melor woke up in the morning. His younger sister laying just next to him in the same bed. They had come here with very little money. Only really enough to barely put a down payment on their small house. Though the entire lower half was used for their winery. The upper part of only two rooms was for them. Those two rooms were a bed room, and an storage room. Therefore the twins shared a bed. To some of the villagers, it was just plain weird. For two so old to be sharing a bed. But to both of them it was nothing. Melor kicked his feet off the side of the bed. Rubbing his eyes before stepping into the bathroom and stretching his arms high into the air. His shoulders cracked into place as he let out a big yawn. There he took his normal morning shower. Rubbing the shampoo into his dark hair and letting the steaming water fall along his back. Just to really wake himself up. Outside he could hear his sister moving about. Getting herself ready for the day. Melor stepped out of the shower just a few minutes later. Getting changed into a white button up shirt and the same shade of dark jeans that Melia wore. He went downstairs, pouring himself a cup of tea before looking over the inventory list he had made the previous night. It seemed the twins never stopped working. Then again this was a busy season for them. Spring weddings, were the main part of that. Plus since it was getting warmer, the grapes needed constant attention. Melor sighed as he added a bit of honey to the mix and stepped outside. Taking a deep breath od the crisp warm air. It still had a slight chill to it, but it would for at least a few more weeks until Summer. Melor then realized today was the first day of Spring. But more importantly, the begining of the new year. There would be a celebration in the town square at around ten in the morning.

▄▄ ▄ ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄ ▄
XxXxXxXxX(x` ↪ Melia Manoer.x)
Melia woke when she felt her brother moving about. Though she kept her eyes closed. Hoping to gain those few more seconds of sleep. Nothing came to her though. Melia got up once she heard the water going on the bathroom. Carefully she stepped into the closet, changing into a buttercup button up shirt, and a pair of simple dark jeans. Melia was not much of a morning person, but she also did force herself to move about. Melia stepped down the stairs, and into the kitchen. Starting the coffee maker for the morning. Although they cheated, putting tea leaves instead of coffee grinds unto the machine. That was better for them any how. While waiting for it to finish, Melia went outside to the grape vines they had growing in. She picked up the hose, putting her thumb over the top to be able to just sprinkle the plants for the morning. A few of the towns people were walking by. It always amazed her how early they got up. Some even before the sun came up. One of the older residents stopped to talk. Melia carefully went over to him. "Good Morning!" She said to the old man. Though he went along his way after a few short words. Allowing Melia to get back to watering the plants. Though she realized after some water splashed on her feet, she had forgotten to put shoes on again. Not that it bothered her much. She glanced to her brother who was just stepping outside.

Palmoun 08-27-2010 04:18 AM

Ivy slowly got up when she fel the warm sun on her body and she slowly got up and streched. For half a second she thought that her being blind was just a dream but as she slowly opend her eyes that small hope dissappeared in a second. Her mornings always started out like this but she was use to it now. She then got to her feet and smiled as she felt the cool floor under her bare feet. She loved her new resturant that was right outside of town. She remembered when she first steped foot into this new home of hers. It had been completely taken over by some trees and it needed some work, that was why she only payed so little for it. But now after here for a little while it was coming together. It was two storys but the bottom floor was the kitchen, storage and dinning room. The top had two bedrooms and she had rented out the other room to a nice boy. It had all happend so fast and now things where finally starting to calm down. She slowly made her way over to the dresser and pulled on a nice flowing dress. She loved the feel of it and she then slowly decended the stairs.
The resturant wasn't open yet, she only opend it after 10 so that it gave her time to go into town and grab a few things like she was doing today. She then headed into the kitchen and searched for where she put the apples. She soon found them and started to eat it. "BEN, could you set up the dinning room while I am away." she called as she put on her shoes and headed out the door. She then headed down the road as she ate and you could hardly tell that she was blind with the way she was. She looked so cheerfull the way she hummed softly and skipped her way into town.

Ben was still passed out and then jumpe dup when he heard Ivy. He hardly knew her but she was nice enough to give him a room to sleep in. But there wasn't much in it, only a small bed and the room wasn't even that big. But then again the whole resturant was kind of small. He didn't say anything to Ivy though since she seemed happy the way things where and she never complained about it. But then again she was blind so she probalby didn't know how small it was.
He slowly got up and pulled on a shirt as he headed down stairs. He saw ivy skipping down the road and shook his head. It amazed him how she could absolutly act completely normal when she culdnt' see. He then headed into the kitchen and went to work setting up a few things and then heading into the dinning area and setting up the chairs and everything.

((Sorry, I didn't know you had put it on, so I accidentally put it here.))

----------

Kayle woke up from an odd noise that seemed to be coming from his chicken coop. The animals always seem to get a bit frustrated if the night isn't quiet. Foxes and racoons seem to be drawn to his little property, making noises all night long. Even Kayle could get restless sometimes in the night. He got out from under his plain white covers and slipped on some trainers and a jacket to go see what was going on. He wasn't bothered by the fact he only had underwear on; he didn't expect anyone to be up at this hour, but in case someone passed by, he'd cover himself with his jacket. His trainers looked really worned out, so he reminded himself to buy some from somewhere before the hot season starts.

He ran down the stairs, quick enough to beat a racing horse and out the door. Almost like clockwork, he whizzed left to where his chickens were housed. Funny how he remembered how he found them; under the same coop, scared to death and wondering where the owner was. He had asked the mayor later and told him that the owner wasn't in sight, so he took up the job of taking care of them. Pretty soon he'd have enough money to even raise some prized stallions. It would be nice to win something, for once he thought whilst he was still trying to unfasten the rope that held the door together to keep any unwanted creatures from getting in, and any chickens coming out. He also reminded himself to get some new sort of security for the door, which was painted a dull brown. Once he had gotten in, he glanced at all the nests, in which one hen housed, and noticed one nest vacant. Then, something brushed his legs. The rooster, which Kayle named Jake, was running around the coop, sqwuaking at the top of his lungs every other 15 seconds. Kayle realised that roosters do that, apparently, to make sure the hens knew where he was. He laughed and exited the coop, leaving the door open for the chickens to come out. Once Kayle had got himself in a better state, he would sight-see a bit until he came to the town square, where the so-called "New Year Festival" would be held. Maybe he would find someone to talk to. Maybe he won't...

Alison had woke up from the blue sparrows chirping by her window. She loved that sound more than anything in the morning. If it had been a thunderstorm, she would simply not get up until noon, or when the rain would stop. She had already gotten up, with that beautiful smile still on her face, and put on a nice, light green dress that she had fell in love with at a store in the city. It had some pretty flowers on the bottom, which went great with her flats that she put on. It seemed like another beautiful day at this lovely little town. Alison had turned left to the little garage-like stable where her horse, Chester, lived. A tall, broad man had helped her make it that way, but she had forgotten his name, so she'll have to thank him during the festical going on today, if he goes there, of course. Chester perked up and gave a loud snort, almost as if saying "Good Morning" to her. Alison had walked up to him and put her head against his muzzle, whispering "So, this is our new life, Chester. Let's make the most of it." She had only moved in a few days ago, but was settling in quite nicely. She pulled a rope next to her and instantly opened the garage door. She led her stallion out into a little field where Chester grazed. Whilst he was doing that, Alison tended to her tomatoes and flowers that she grew, smiling at the pedestrians that walked by, as she was not a talkative one.

Rochell hurried about her dear Inn busy as normal for her making everything just so. Nothing was off kilter not by a inch or any measurement. If she had learned anything from her years in Europe perfection was a must. She smiled as she stopped at the main hall and gazed out the door of her Inn. It was nice to feel the warm sun ray's that she loved here in this strange and beautiful place. Even her maid outfit looked magical in the sun's rays here instead of a boring uniform. She closed her eyes as she took a moment to enjoy the quietness and sun. Her eyes flashed open as she heard the rustling of feathers and cries behind her. Her eyes flashed open as she turned her head in time to see a gang of chickens run by her and out the Inn door. She noticed that her own favorite Roster who she had named Sir Charles was the one chasing the others down the small path that lead to the Inn heading to town. Her favorite Hen Rue was chasing too only trying to save the other hens who she didn't know their owner from her Roster who looked to be rather mad at them. She closed her eyes and hung her head as she placed her duster on the table beside the door and hurried out the door following the path as she followed the bunch of chickens into the middle of the town where the celebration would be shortly. "Sir Charles! That is enough!!! You get back home this instance sir! How rude of you." She said as she chased after her roster and her hen happy to see her roster had stopped a long with the hens that ran to a new face in town and acted as if they knew him. She smiled as she saw her dear Rue come to her and bent down and picked her white and blacked speckled friend up stroking her. At lest her hens where smart and ladies. Charles was anything but a gentleman at such times. He was more of a hooligan and kept himself in trouble. Her eye's narrowed to the Roster who glared at the hens. "You get over here this instance sir! We are going home you have embarrassed me enough for one day. If you keep this up I'll give you to the butcher. You know he has a reward for anyone who will bring you to him. Thanks to your little stunt last week." her eyes then shifted to the stranger. "I am sorry he is a wild one. If these hens are yours or someone you know I am sorry for him chasing them. I am Rochell by the way." She said as she gave him a warm smile.

Joe woke as he felt the warm sun's rays dance about him. He chuckled as he sat up and shook his head. He had spent most of his night and day helping some of the local foke's and hadn't even got five hours of sleep but he wouldn't change it. He walked to the old window and peered out it as a small smile rose across his face. He stared out as his new crop of corn coming in. It reminded him of his old home though when he was out in the pastier with the horses around here that is when he really felt like he was home. Though his home had never been so calming as this place was to his soul. He walked to his dresser and pulled out a plan white shirt putting it own already wearing his favorite jeans. He had learned a long time ago to stay dressed and ready to meet anyone and help at anytime. The town was rather small and he was the local handyman of shorts. He had changed into the jeans and took his bath when he came in less than five hours before hand. He walked down his old wooden stairs and smiled as he grabbed his favorite black cowboy hat from the door frame where it rested when he came in for the night to rest. To day was the day of the spring celebration and he wandered what would happen. Every year it was different though one thing stayed the same. The people always some how manage to end up making a lasting impression in his heart and some more than others. He open his door and shut it behind him as he walked down the small path heading to the winery. He wanted to see if the twins needed any help.

Kayle stood, a bit embarrased to see a rather attractive woman talking to him, whilst he was in underwear and a jacket. She didn't look like someone who'd be native to a town like this; more european. Her accent certainly gave her away. He had never talked to a European before, being from the big city and all, but he bet she was quite a nice person to talk to, only if he had some clothes on. Before he got red, Kayle coughed and managed to say "Kayle Pernt." and shook her hand. Now that he felt awkward just stating his name, he mustered up something else to say.
"Are you, err, new to the village, or have you been here for a while?" He asked, putting his hands in his pockets and pulling them close to his body to cover up his exposed torso.

Lady Chello 08-29-2010 06:53 PM

Rochell blushed as she finally noticed the stranger she had been talking two was only half dress. Though it faded as a smile replaced it. She was in the country now and in America such things were normal here. It was rather different in her home not many would dare to come out in such a manner. She adverted her eyes as she looked to her hen Rue in her arms then looked back to him amazed with his eyes. She liked his accent not to mention his bare chest. "Uh...yes I have been here....how do you say a while yes. You are new? It is the first time I have seen you around. Did your wife or girl friend kick you out? If you need a place to stay I own the inn and I am sure we could find you some clothing." She said as she looked around trying to see if there was any girl looking for him. She liked her new home and loved the men here.

Melor got the mail. Flipping threw it as he glanced at his sister and walked back inside. Mostly bills, which he slowly set on the counter after glancing over each one. One letter caught his eyes. It was hand written. Slowly he opened it up, finding it was from his mother. Melor leaned on the counter, sliding a hand threw his hair as a smile crossed his face. The man read threw it slowly. Taking in each word before setting it down where the bills were and heading outside with his sister. Picking up a basket himself. "A letter from mom came in." He said to her. Noticing how her basket was already half full. They were both very fast at what they did. Although he stopped, seeing a familiar figure walking down the road. It was one of Joe.

Melia went back to watering the grapevines. Simply holding the hose lightly spraying the grapes until the ground was watered. She turned back and shut the water off. Flicking a bit of sweat from her brow. Amazing how warm it was. Then again, it was always such a sudden;y change from winter time. Melia then went and picked a basket up. Going around and picking a basket full of grapes. Melor came and joined her just a few minutes later. It was good to hear their mother had sent them something. They normally got a letter every three months or so. "What did it say?" Melia asked him. Looking up to see him looking down at the road. She looked to where he was looking. Seeing Joe coming down the way.

Palmoun 08-29-2010 08:04 PM

Ivy headed down the way and heard other foot steps and voices. This ment that she was in town and the smile she wore on her face widend. She needed to head to Manoer Winery since she needed to get some wine. She always like to have some around the resturant but it seemed that she had ran out of it. She probably drank it all since she usually had a cup or two at night to relax.
After walking for a little while she could smell fresh fruit and smiled as she knew exactly where she was. She was right around the winery and it smelled like the fruit was growing good. he heard the nose and guessed that the siblings where working the graps this morning and wondered how they where doing. She hardly talked to them and she could tell that someone else was walking down the road too. Who ever it was sounded like he was a big guy and there was only one person she thought of. Joe. She smiled and just continued on her way like usual and like the feel of the sun on her.

Lady Chello 08-29-2010 08:51 PM

Joe smiled as he saw the winery come into view. His smile widen as he saw another figure appear not far from him. He knew that girl anywhere that was the one and only Ivy. Of course he knew the one who prepared most of his meals. His mother had tried to teach him to cook but why cook when he had Ivy and that dinner of hers. He wandered into the winery and smiled as he found the twins with their grapes as normal. He tipped his hat to them both happy to see them up and looking good and in good spirits for once since they had been there. "Morning my dear sir and ma'am. How are you doing today? I was wandering if you needed any help getting ready for today?"

Palmoun 08-29-2010 09:20 PM

Ivy smiled as she heard Joe head into the winery. She followed the sound coming form it and soon was in in the winery and smelled everything. She loved the smells in here and she soon found the others in here. "Hello Joe, how are you?" she asked since she could tell where he was by sent. She had come to recognize his sent easly since she fed him every day at the dinner. She then turned to the siblings and smiled. "morning Melor.. Melia, I was wondering if I could get some wine. It seems that we have run out at the resturant." she said as she smiled at them. She liked coming to there winery since it smelled of grapes and wine. But if they grew apples she would love this place more then anything else. Apples where the one thing that she loved more then anything else in the world. That was why she had one every morning and evening and night. It was something that she could never get enough of.

Kayle noticed Rochell looking around her, as if searching for something important. He sort gave out a slight chuckle, to quiet to be even laughter. He hadn't had a girlfriend in ages. Well, come to think of it, forever. The city didn't really give him much relationship oppurtunities. They all seemed the same to him; all "Oh my god this, oh my god that." and never found a decent girl who he could sit on a brick wall and listen to Linkin Park with, but he could never seem to find the one. Realising he kept Rochell waiting for an answer, he replied "Oh, um, no, and, err, no. I mean, I'm sorta new to the village, and I sorta house the hens in the abandoned farm over there, but tanks for the offer. I'm sure your inn's a great place to stay. I haven't been here for long. And no, I don't have a wife." He chuckled again, " or girlfriend. I hadn't been able to find the one, I guess." He took his right hand and sort of scratched his head. Rochell sure did make Kayle nervous, yet comfortable for him to not run back to his house, put some clothes on and run back to her.
"Is, uh, your hen okay?" He changed the subject, "And are you going to the New Years Festival in the square later on?" About time, he thought to himself. A decent question without an "um" or an "err" in between...

*******
Once her plants had been damp enough, Alison turned off the hose and clicked her tounge so Chester would come. She noticed the bottom of her dress was wet and a bit dirty; not a good way to meet new people. She quickly got into her little house, slipped on some tight jeans and a white shirt, then got out, to find Chester waiting for her near the garage/stable. Alison swung up so that she was on his back, kicked him lightly, and trotted off to the square. Pretty soon, the New Years Festival would start and everyone would be gathering...

Lady Chello 08-29-2010 09:58 PM

Rochell stared at him then shifted her eyes to hen and smiled. Her smile widen as she heard him ask about the celebration that would be latter that night. Her eyes gleamed as she nodded that she was planning on going. "Yes to both...The pain of a Rooster at your feet is Sir Charles I should have named him anything but a Sir. And don't worry about it you'll find someone. The right one just hasn't fell into your life yet. You'll know when she appears. I know I am still waiting on mine to appear. I hope to see you tonight. And my Inn is just on the outside of the village there is a path of flowering bushes that will lead you to it. Please come and visit I could make you tea and crumpets....or...coffee and sweet biscuits I think that is what you call them. Sorry my English isn't that good yet thought one day it will be. I have extra fencing if you need any for your hens. I am sorry for my Roster being such trouble and I hope that your hens are well. If you need anything please just let me know. And the dinner right down there has some of the best food you should try it some time." She said wandering why she felt a little awkward standing in front of the Kayle in her outfit. Her outfit had never made her feel unsecured till now. She had never wanted to hide from any one but after him seeing her in her outfit outside of the Inn she just wanted to hid. She wished she had wore her jeans and hoodie instead of her outfit she only wore in the Inn. He was rather handsome but she had learned long time ago his type didn't stay single long and there was no need to be anything but friends with. Or that was how she felt around here. She was a outsider no matter how she tried to fit in she would always stand out and who really wanted to hear her accent all the time she didn't.

Hresvelgr 08-29-2010 10:29 PM

Melor and Melia both set their baskets down as Both Joe and Ivy came into the Winery Garden. Melia's basket was full, just needed to be washed off and brought inside. The twins did not own any fancy machines, everything was done by hand. So the work was only that much harder. Though it did help that they could both communicate to each other without words. Though the silent whispers did freak others out occasionally. "Good Morning." Melor and Melia both said to Joe. Completely in Unison. Ivy walked in just a second later, gaining the same hello. although they were both straight to the point. The Twins simply looked at eachother. Planning, Although Melor seemed to have the final say since Melia narrowed her eyes slightly, and whispered something vulgar in Japanese. She stepped away towards Ivy, giving the blind girl a small hug to say hello.

"Come, I'll bring you inside. Do you have anything in mind?" Melia asked her, leading her towards the house. Inside looked just to be a regular store, but with bottles of wine everywhere. Although there was no cash regiater, and the pile of bills on the counter. Which Melia made quick work to take. She waited for Ivy to answer.

Melor on the other hand was just outside with Joe. The man's question to help always confused Melor in a small way. Mainly because the man never excepted any money. Maybe just a meal for the night. Melia wasn't the best cook, but she didn't burn anything. She was more of a baker. "Well we are just picking everything for now. If you wish to help out, you can grab a basket." Melor suggested.

Lady Chello 08-29-2010 11:00 PM

Joe smiled and walked inside and returned with two baskets. He didn't talk much when he worked and never minded helping the twins out or most others for that matter. They where both good kids who just needed a little help and some one to keep a eye on them and make sure they stayed out of trouble. He moved about the grapes only picking those that where ready and watering the others. He had learned a few things since the twins arrived and loved helping them. He knew them Ivy and the Inn keeper in the town the best out of all the people he knew.

Palmoun 08-30-2010 12:36 AM

Ivy smiled at she followed Melia into the house and felt the cool floor as she walked in. She then thought for a second about what kind fo wine to get. "I would like a nice red wine and maybe a white wine." she said as she looked at where she heard Melia at. She liked the girl a lot and it was always nice to talk to her. "so how is your everything going? i haven't talked to you lately." she said and it was true. She had been out in the forest for the past two days just hanging out and seeing what it had to offer her or in her case feeling. She had actually found a nice peach tree and some good onions that she could use if she really needed them.

Alternativechic 08-30-2010 08:12 PM

Kayle couldn't help but smile. He had taken a liking to Rochell, but in a friend way. Maybe he won't be able to stop thinking about her, who knows? But he guaranteed that won't be the last time he would see her. On the inside, he was doing his mental happy dance, as he was glad she was going to the New Years Festival as well; at least he won't be so alone.
"Don't worry, maybe he's acting like that for a reason. All things sort of happen for a reason, I guess." He made a side smile, "Thanks for the offer, too. At least I know who to turn to when I need help." He tried to resist the temptation to wink; he didn't really want to look flirty or giving the wrong image. But he actually did mean it. At least he can repair the door in the coop so the hens don't keep running out. Kayle glanced to where Rochell was refering to, and there it was: a nice little diner. Well, this was good. He knew most of the outside of the village, which really was great. Then again, the village was quite big, so he might need to purchase a horse soon. But where to find a breeder, he's not sure. Maybe there's one in the village?
"Cool, I'll be sure to check the diner out later. Is there anything else I should know about the village? I mean, what are the other people like?" He asked. Even with the somewhat quiet attitude he puts up, he was quite curious about the people who lived here.

Hresvelgr 08-30-2010 11:50 PM

Melia nodded. Looking to the shelves. She remembered the types each of the villagers bought every now and then. They all had their favorites after all. "Just one of each?" Melia questioned. If she was buying for herself even they would not last for more than a week or two. She stood up on the counter, pulling down the white wine. Why it was up higher, well that was due to Melor. Always forgetting is twin was still slightly shorter than he, and Melia did have the patience to get the step latter. "Everything is great. We are finally out of dept, and paying everything off. Our last season even brought in a lot of extra spending money. So we may be buying a net to keep the cursed birds off of our grapes." Melia said to Ivy, hoping down from the counter in a gymnastic like grace. "How are things at your neck of the woods?"

Melor filled his basket to the top, and walked over to the hose. Running the tap water over each of the filled baskets. Just to rinse them off a bit before he would take them inside. He would have to help Ivy carry the bottles of wine back to her place in a few minutes probably. Not that he minded doing it. Just the thought of Leaving Joe back there with his sister was something he was not comfortable with. He held his head and bit, rubbing his eyes slightly before turning the water off. "Your not too bad at that you know." Melor said. Trying to strike up a conversation, or at least something.

Palmoun 08-31-2010 12:20 AM

Ivy smiled and then thought for a second, "could I actually get two more bottles of red, if it isn't to much trouble." she said since that was her favorite wine out of everything. She then smiled when she heard Melia about getting the net. "oh that is wonderful, I am glad things are working out for you." she said and really was. The twins needed a break and now it looks like they where finally getting somewhere. "oh things are doing great. The word is getting out about my resturant and bussiness is picking up." she said and it was true.

Lady Chello 09-01-2010 01:55 AM

Joe looked up as he stared at the guy and laughed. "Well I had the best teachers ever. Are you going to celebration tonight? I am sure all the lady's will be disappointed if you aren't there. I wander what there will be tonight don't you?" He said as he stood up and walked to to the door. "I hope we don't have to go single handed tonight don't you?"

Rochell smiled as she nodded. "Umm...yes the others in town... The others are very nice I assure you. The twins own the winery and make some of the best. There is the dinner owner Ivy and her help as well as the new one I have not met yet. If you need any handy help Joe or Black as he likes to be called around here is the one to call. Everyone here will lend you a hand for the most part. Well I better get back to the Inn....I have to keep it up and change before tonight who wants to see some strange person in such a outfit. I don't want others thinking me a harlot or worse. Apparently here the things you wear make others speak bad things of you just so you know. You better go find your cloths before you are part of town gossip."

Alternativechic 09-01-2010 06:27 PM

What Rochell had said about Kayle putting on some clothing made him blush a bit and cover his bare chest a bit with his jacket. Not that he was embarassed, it just happened. "Yeah, thanks." He managed to cough up, "And, Iīll see you later, I guess. Unless you decide to stand me up." He didnīt mean to sound menacing. His tone was more playful, and a bit flirty. Now he couldnīt fight the urge to wink and did so, and regretted it. He smiled and waved as he gathered his hens and walked back to his little house. He almost started skipping, pretty delighted that he found someone to talk to, and wonīt be so lonely this year. His hens had already found their way to the coop and nested there for a bit, whilst Kayle got back inside, put on some good jeans and a maroon dress shirt. At least it looked like a dress shirt; he always kept it ironed and clean. He got out of the house and retrieved his jacket, where he left it near the post box. He decided to walk around before the festival and did so, noticing the landmarks and shops wherever he went.

((If I havenīt replied in ages, I havenīt died...yet XD Iīm on vacation and it takes a while to get on the computer, so sorry for my absence ><))

Hresvelgr 09-03-2010 02:33 AM

A smile crept upon Melia's face. Not that Ivy could see. The girl could still probably tell. Some how, some way, Ivy had her ways. "The region is becoming more and more popular. The Ad in the newspaper is catching the attention of many. Even if they don't move out here, they still visit. Not too many of us young people though." Melia said to her. Getting up on the counter again, and getting the bottle. There was a step ladder, but even with that she still couldn't reach the bottles. Although Melia went to step back, and slipped. Falling right down to the floor and hitting her head. The bottle of wine in her hand hit the floor just inches away from her.

Melor smirked a bit at Joe's laugh. It was so lighthearted and fun. "Yes, we may be a bit late to it, even with your help, but we are going." Melor said to him. Picking up two baskets and walking to the door. He saw Melia on the counter. Though did not thing anything of of it until she went to turn, and her foot slipped off. Sending her to the ground. Melor dropped the basket, Running right inside to his sister. Barely brushing past Ivy. He didn't touch Melia, even against every instinct telling him to shake her. "Sis, wake up."
