Ivy didn't have to see to know what happens to her friend. She kneeled down and gently reached out. She soon felt her friends hand and ran a finger up on her wrist. She waited for a few seconds and then smiled up at her brother or at least where she thought he was. "she is still alive don't worry." she said and le her hands dnace up to her friends head. She ran a gentle hand over the back of the head and only felt a bump and sighed a little bit, "no blood, she is just out cold. Bring her to my resturant and i will give her something to wake up." she said and hoped that the bump wasn't to bad.

Rochell watched him leave then picked up her rude rooster Sir Chariles and walked back to her inn. She spent her day decorating it for the celebration. She wandered what she should wear and if Kayle would really be there not that it should matter but for some reason it did. She couldn't help but smile when she thought about his wink he had gave her. She rolled her eyes as she looked about her closet she finally deiced on a pair of jeans and a light sweater along with her favorite boots. She wandered where the others where by now. Joe would have already been by now and the twines where no where in sight it was rather odd for them. She left her Inn after locking it and walked to the middle of town looking for any of the others growing a little worried since they where the few she did know.
Joe followed Melor inside and quickly waked back outside and came back with a wet rag and held it out to Melor. "Rub her head with this to help wake her. We should get her up stairs and let her lay down." He said worried about Melia as he always was. He worried for her Melor. He knew Ivy was a tough girl and rarely worried for her though if anyone did mess with her or dared to they would go through him just as anyone who dared to hurt one of the twins would go through him. |
Melor waited just a second later as Ivy took control. She was blind after all. Just because she could not see, did not mean she knew about what to do. He listened to the instructions. Though shook his head at her last one. "Thank you Ivy, but I would rather not have to bring her that far..." Melor said to her. When Joe came back in his took the wet rag. Putting it right onto Melia's head. Slowly he tucked his arm under her legs, and the other held her head as he picked Melia up bridal style. Being very careful not to move her around too much. Though he felt her moving slightly in his arms. "Your such an idiot Melia." Melor said bluntly to his awakening sister. "Shut up..." She whispered back to him. Closing her eyes as the pain settled in. Although she was still in the what had just happened state. Unsure what she did this time. Melor stood up straight, looking to both Ivy and Joe. "Thank you both." |
Ivy smiled at the siblings, "no problem, happy to help out my friends." she said and it was true. She was happy to do anything for her friends and would always help where she could. She only ever wantedto help if she wasn't cooking something. It was just how she was.

After with much confusion, Kayle managed to find the town square. She only saw one girl, holding a horse by the reins, and no one else. He was early for a change, usually he's a couple of hours late to anything, which may be the case of why the teachers didn't like him at high school. He decided, what the hay, and walked up to the girl with the horse. She noticed she had really pretty ocean blue eyes. How come I don't see these kind of girls in the city? he thought to himself as he finally drew attention to the girl, who glanced as he approached her.
"Um, hi." He started "I'm Kayle." and stuck his hand out. He thought he looked awkward since he was in his "fancy dress shirt" and she was in just a white shirt that had some nice detail on it. He hoped for the best and hoped that the girl didn't think he was odd. ******* Alison sort of made a slight jump when Kayle had introduced himself suddenly. He looked like a nice boy, easy to get along with, though his expression showed shyness and yet strong and silent at the same time. He reminded her of her ex-boyfriend; they were both tall, strong, dark, and handsome. She quickly pushed that thought away as she didn't want to think of her ex anymore. She didn't want to feel that she had made a mistake to come here. She grabbed his hand lightly and smiled. "Alison Koper." She said, "This is my stallion, Chester. He's an arabian." She didn't know why, but she liked telling people what sort of horse she had, even if they didn't know much about horses. It was sort of instinct for Alison. "Are you here for the festival as well?" He asked almost bluntly. "Yeah, I can't really seem to find anyone else here apart from you. I'm guessing we're early?" She said. "Yeah I think so." He replied "I was sort of hoping to see more people." "Yeah, me too." She looked at her feet, then back up at him "We can wait and talk until the actual festival starts." Alison smiled. At least she wouldn't be too lonely. Chester was nice to talk to, but it was a shame he couldn't talk back, just snort. |
Leomaris had woken up early that morning. He did most mornings to head down to the river. The blonde usually went down by himself to fish. It was usually either at dawn preferably before dawn. Yawning he leaned against the rocks as he watched the pole. It was peaceful here in the mornings. Leo was usually down there for hours at a time, well at least until his sister Stacie woke. She was still in her Los Angles mode where she didn't wake up til later in the day. As the young man watched the water he always felt reflective. After catching a good amount of fish he packed them in the sac and started walking back. On the walk back he watched a bird couple sitting at their nest. Soon they would be tweeting around a nest full of little babies. He grinned as he saw them and returned to the house.
Sparrow woke to the bright sun in her eyes. At first she shielded her eyes and rolled back over, but she felt like she wasn't going to fall back asleep. The twenty-one year old rolled onto her stomach and figured she could at least lay in bed til her demanding brother came home. Not that the blonde sibling thought her brother was that demanding. Mostly she just hated doing work, though she did really enjoy blowing glass, but of course she did other things. She felt a hand on her shoulder lightly shaking her. "Hey c'mon. Morning time now," Leomaris's voice rang out.The female groaned in response and sat up her wavy blonde hair disheveled. "I'm gonna get ready," she grumbled and pulled herself out of bed. Leomaris shrugged and headed back downstairs to set the fish up to sell. He would sit on the porch for most of the day then put the fish in the freezer. After a few minutes he heard Stacie coming down the steps. Dressed in a soft pink tank top with jeans and a pair flats Sparrow stood on the porch with her hands on her hips. "Well I'm heading over to the Manoer's to see what's for sale," she stated boldly. "Oh, so you mean you are going to skip on some work. That's what you mean,"he answered teasingly. "Call it what you want," she said coyly then strode off the porch. She walked up to the Manoer Winery. Lightly she tapped on the door then stepped in the front. She saw everyone crowded around the floor. Softly she closed the door behind her and stepped across the floor. "I hope I'm not intruding... is everything alright?" Sparrow's voice rang out in the quiet room softly. |
Joe gave a bow then excused himself. "Well I think I'll go to town and see if anyone needs help. And Melia stay on your feet." He said in a playful manners as he gave her a wink and bow to the twins then Ivy. He then walked to town and laughed as he saw Rochell for once in normal clothes though she looked anything but normal in them. His eyes then found two other people there. He smiled as he saw Alison and her stallion Chester.

Melor Looked up when the new voice entered the room. It was Sparrow, another one of their frequent visiters. Melor looked down to Melia who was awake now. Carefully he set her down to stand. Which she did ever so delicately next to him. "Yes, Melia just fell again. Perhaps it is a good time to invest in the library ladder." Melor said with a small laugh. |
Ivy smiled as she felt the bag in her hands and looked at where she felt Melia at. "thank you and sure. I am sure ben will be on his way down with some food that I made yesturaday for the festival." she said as she looked at her and smiled. She couldnt' wait to go to the festical and had made a cake for everyone to taste. She was always happy to hear how peopel enjoyed her creations and this one was special.
Ben saw the time and cursed. he had nearly forgotten about the fair and started to head out of there but stopped when he was halfway down the road. Ivy had told him yesturday to bring the cake and he quickly headed back and found teh cake. He could only stare at it for a little while since it was beautiful. It was hard to beileve that a blind girl had made this with her owns eyes. He then gently picked it up and headed down and into town with it. |
Sparrow nodded and smiled happy to see that Melia was alright. "Well perhaps if it would be safer... maybe Leo could make one for you if you would like one," she suggested softly with a smile. Lightly she stood and watched as Melia bagged some wine for Ivy. She had come over to investigate the selection, and of course her and Leomaris had forgotten the celebration. "Sure, it sounds like a fun plan to me," she answered grinning.
Leomaris had been sitting on the porch for quite sometime and watched the bustle of people pass by. Once he realized it was the day to celebrate the new year he sighed. Then he thought about making something to eat. Surely someone could enjoy some good ol' fish fry. Leo decided that he could save the fish. He had never been to this festival, so he wasn't sure what would be there. The boy didn't want to bring anything then have it go to waste. Quietly and swiftly he cleaned up shop and decided to wash up. He stepped out of the house wearing a pair of brown boots tucked into a pair of dark wash skinny jeans an a white v-neck under an ivory hoodie. Closing up the house he headed down to the square to Ben walking that way too. "Ben!" he called as he ran down to catch up with him. "Hope I didn't frighten you. Are you off to the Festival?" he asked with a chuckle. |
Ben jumped slightly when he heard Leomaris and nearly dropped the cake. But he quickly saved it and sighed in reliefe. If he had dropped it Ivy would have killed him. "you frightened me a little bit and nearly made me drop the cake but it is okay." he said as he looked at his friend and smiled. "and yeah I am off to the festival. Ivy had asked me to bring the cake she made so I have to b e very careful." he said as he looked at Leomaris.

Leomaris blushed a little and rubbed the back of his head. "Sorry about that, man," he apologized quietly. Then he nodded and smiled. He slightly regretted not making something for this festival, but next time he'd make something delicious. "I almost made some fish to bring, but I wasn't sure what went on at the festival, soo I didn't"he said quietly with a laugh,"That cake looks good, so I'm glad you held onto it...I'm on my way there too. Would you mind if I joined you on the walk over?" Leo smiled back to Ben as he asked. He hoped he wouldn't mind since the blonde wasn't so sure where he was going.

Ben smiled, "sure you can join me. I wouldn't mind the company." he said as he looked at his friend he then continued his way down and was glad to have someone with him. He then looked at Leomaris, "when you see Ivy you should tell her that you like the cake. She loves to hear how people like them and enjoy them. She says it that is her way of telling what she need to make better." he said as he smiled at Leo, "and you should have brought some fish, fish is good anytime of the year." he said happily.

Kayle glanced away from Alison, and noticed Rochell coming into the square. He smiled and noticed the cute sweater she had on. He waved in her direction, excused himself and slowly walked up to her. He was happy that she was, here and didn't lie and just stayed home...because of their encounter. He had finally reached her and he made a slight smile with his mouth. He was in loss of words, and the only thing he could conjure up was:
"Hey, what's up?" Alison nodded as Kayle walked off to meet someday. Shame she didn't have anyone in her life currently. She kept thinking about her leaving her ex-boyfriend. She hated that topic, but that went away when she saw Joe wave at her from a distance. She thought Joe was a nice guy, always helped people. She smiled and waved back, her shyness getting the better of her. |
Leomaris nodded and smiled at Ben. "Cool, I didn't want to walk there alone," he said softly with a laugh. The young man was weird about things like that, and with Sparrow gone to who knows where he would end up walking alone. As they continued on their way the blonde continued to look around at everything. He was always consumed by the beauty of the country, much nicer than the city. At Ben's comment he turned to him and nodded. "I'll make sure to tell her as soon as I see her," he answered happily. Grinning he nodded and rubbed the back of his head. "Next time, I'll make sure I fry up some fish. I feel a little lazy not making anything," he laughed awkwardly. Leo always felt a bit lazy if he didn't contribute to something in some fashion.

Rochell smiled as she saw Kayle and laughed as she heard him waving back. She was happy to see he really was there and had put some clothes on. She didn't mind the view from this morning but some others may. Though the truth was she didn't want anyone else looking at him witch was rather strange for her she had never been one to get upset over a guy. She was very happy she was wearing real clothes for once and he didn't have to see her in her work outfit. "Well Nothing much other than meeting you here and I am happy to see you made it. You look....handsome and well. How are your birds? " She said as she gave him a warm smile hoping her nervousness wasn't showing threw as she spoke with her heavy accent. Her accent only added to her nervousness as she stood there wandering if he could understand a word she had said and hoping she was not offending him with her choice of words. Her English was still a work in progress and at times she miss used words or gave up and spoke her native language. |
Kayle looked down and smiled. He usually didn't like it when he blushed; he looked odd. Why was he all flustered and pink-cheeked when he was around Rochell? He didn't even know her that well, only the fact that she's seen his bare torso on their first meeting.
"Oh, my birds?" He was a bit side-tracked due to her attractive appearance, "Yeah, they're okay. They're just around now. You look pretty cute as well." He glanced at the people who were arriving at the venue. He hadn't talked to many when he came, but he'd be okay with learning their names and such. He could use some friends for now. After all, he would need some help if he wanted to make any profit at all with his currently unsuccesfull farm. |
