Background: Jake comes from a long line of rich Werewolves, but he's always been the one to stand out for not being able to accept who he is. Living on his own, Jake works as an author for Werewolf Romances and dreams of finding his soul mean someday soon.
Personality: Jake is known to be a calm, laid-back guy. He always goes with the flow and it would be rare to find him angered or saddened. He likes to smile, but his brown eyes hold the sadness of him being a 'monster'. But once you get to know him, you will find a friendly, understanding, knows-how-it-feels, caring, and gentle gentleman. Once you become his friend, you won't ever get angry at him.

Name: Kerick Waldry
Age: 19
Background: Kerick comes from a mixed up family that has come from rich, to poor, to now middle-class. But he passed school with the highest grades possible and has won many awards. He hopes to try to get into a music school soon for his wonderful singing voice and work with the piano.
Personality: Kerick is a more shy of a guy behind his sky-blue eyes. Most people think he's anti-social, but he doesn't really know how to talk to people. Basically, all he knows how to do is sing, write music, and play the piano. But when the weather is nice outside, he loves to take his music notebook out to the forest behind his house and sit down by a tree and just write music.

Jake sighed as he stared at his laptop's screen. Writer's block...again? Man, I need someone to help me out, he thought to himself as he pushed in the shelf of his keyboard underneath the computer as he then turned off the screen of his computer and looked at the clock. It was an hour before his agent wanted him to turn in the manuscript for the next book in his series: Calling of the Moon. He was always contemplating on the name of this next book, but just this morning, he finally fell on the title: Calling of the Moon: Evergreen when the first and second book were called: Midnight and River, all part of a Werewolf romance series he's been writing since he was old enough to know what "Solipsist" meant.

He grabbed the thick stack of papers off of his desk and headed out of his office, down his stairs as he grabbed his jacket and car keys to head to his brown Volvo and head off to his agent's office. In his opinion, this was the best book in the series yet.

Kerick's fingers moved over the piano's top. It was the piano he had been eying for years in the local music store. At the moment, he was stuck with an aged, worn, but still in one piece upright piano. It was good enough. But this piano was just like the one he used in school. But it was also something that cost just as much as his house. He sighed as the new store's clerk walked over to him with a smile.

"You play the piano?" she asked him with fake fascination.

Kerick looked at the girl and have her a fake smile in response. "Only a little," he replied, definitely beind modest to how well he plays.

When he got home, he went to his room, picked the half-filled up music notebook from the collections of empty and filled-up notebooks. He grabbed a pen and tightened his fall jacket as he headed out through the back of his house and into the woods. Once he was deep enough into the woods, he sat down as he rested his back against a large tree and began to write. He was trying to finish a song he couldn't stop rewriting. He hated it, but he was also beyond determined to finally finish it and stick with the version. If he wanted to rewrite it, he promised himself he would just make a whole new song on the next set of pages.

Kerick froze when he heard the most beautiful singing voice he had ever heard. He looked forward and probable guessed it was coming from the local river. He closed his book, got up, brushed leaves off of his back, and walked through the rest of the woods to the river.

He stopped when he saw a girl with blue hair in a rather interesting and well-coordinating style and smiled. "Hullo," he said, hoping not to scare her.

After the meeting Jake had to go through with a new publishing company he was switching to, he walked out of the conference room and out to the main lobby to get any messages left for him. He looked at his clock. His new assistant was supposed to be here by now.

"Morning, Joyce," he said to the secretary at the desk in the lobby. "Anything for me?"

Joyce looked up at him and smiled as she handed him a few note cards. "Your ex publishing company called and then so did your mother. And Jake, Miss Isabella is here," she said as she pointed to Isabella.

Jakes smiled, murmured a 'thank you' to Joyce, and walked over to Isabella. "Good morning, Isabel-- can I just call you Bella?" he asked as he read through his missed calls.

Kerick smiled at her. "Hullo, Yuki. I'm Kerick," he said. "And please, don't be sorry. You have a beautiful voice," he said earnestly. Kerick then felt a little disappointed when Yuki had to leave. He wanted to talk with her more, but maybe some other time. "Alright, I'll see you around then?" he asked after her.

Jake smiled down at the curious, beautiful girl before him. "Thank you, you flatter me, Bella," he said as he motioned for her to follow him into his office. Once they were in his office, he motioned for her to sit in one of the brown chairs in front of his desk as he sat down at his desk chair. "I'm glad you want to learn about Werewolves," he said with a chuckle set to his voice. She shouldn't want to know. It's dangerous and stupid, he thought to himself. "Right now, I'm currently working on a book about Werewolf 101 for curious people like you," he said as he looked through some files behind him and took out a worn notebook of things humans should and should not know about Werewolves. Weaknesses, strengths, abilities, etc... He handed it to her. "I'm almost done and if you read it tonight, I was hoping you could help me with making a name for it," he said.

Kerick laid his music notebook on the upright piano and looked off of it and experimented with the notes he conjured together. He stopped every now and then to correct something or rewrite a part or add something, but he was mostly off good. After that he sighed when he phone started ringing that annoying ring of his house phone.

Jake smiled at Bella. What she had just told him was pretty much exactly what he wanted to hear. "Bella...I have a good feeling about you," he said as he took out a note pad and wrote down what he needed to add onto the book before he would type it out and send it to his new publicist. "If you really want to hear about all that now, I can tell you," he said as he stuck the piece of note pad onto the cover of his laptop so he wouldn't forget.

Kerick walked into the bar that he was supposed to play some smooth jazz after some of the main performances. He came in through the back, ordered a simple coke, and just sat there, enjoying the variety of music. Then his eyes fell upon the girl he saw earlier. Yuki, was it? he asked himself.

Jake smiled. "Once the full moon shines, you can instantly feel the hairs on your back rise and a shock run down your spine. And over time, you can controle when you change. But for the first twenty years of being a Werewolf, the moon says when you'll change. When you know whey you change...you'll know. The only thing you can control his how your anger spikes and the change is forced upon you. Sometimes it hurts, sometimes it just feels like you've just woken up. Werewolves can communicate with thoughts and they usually ride solo," he said, speaking from the tip of his mind as a Werewolf and what he knows of being one. "Now, if a human is bit by a Werewolf, within four days, they will take on a powerful change. Your senses will sharpen, your hearing will become sensitive, and your body will ache upon full moons for a while. And it's dangerous for a Werewolf to love a Human since most humans hunt them down and most of the time, the Werewolves don't want to hurt the person they love," he finished as he pointed to the book in Bella's hand. "When I write it in there, it'll definitely be more descriptive."

Kerick froze his sip of drink when he heard that angelic voice once again. He looked on stage to see Yukie on there. He gulped down his sip and smiled as he set his glass back down on the table and watched her. She was so beautiful, talented...so beautiful....

Jake smiled as he took the paper from Bella. "No, thank you," he corrected as he bowed his head back at her and watched her walk away. He liked her. But that was s far as he needed

Kerick looked at Yukie as he grabbed his drink and sat down next to her. "You sing so beautifully, Yukie...how would you like to work for me?" he asked her.

After staying up all night to finish the Werewolf 101 book, he finally sighed, rubbed his eyes, and looked at the clock. It was five in the morning. In about five hours, he would have to get ready for work. So he got up, set his alarm clock, and tried to get as much sleep as possible, ending up thinking about Bella.

Kerick smiled at Yukie. "Kerick. Kerick Waldry," he answers. "I'm glad to hear you want to work with me," he said, truly happy. He ordered a plate of friends and ate some, offering Yukie some.

Jake sighed as he sat at his kitchen counter, staring out through the glass doors at the night air. Tomorrow was going to be a full moon. He could feel it in the prickling running up and down his spine. He sighed and quickly shot down the shot of alcohol that he has to take every night before the night of his changing.

"Anytime. Yes, I am. I start college at Julliard next year...so it's kinda free-time for me at the moment," he said with a charming laugh.

Jake sighed as he went to his book. He edited and added in some random details here and there just to pass the time and to satisfy himself.

Yuki looked at him and smiled and she was being cute and she liked him as well and she thinks he is cute and smiled and drinks her drink. "so you have a girlfriend Kerick?"

Kerick snickered at her question. "No," he answered in an obvious voice. "Who would wanna date me?" he asked.

After a few long moments of writing, Jake then decided to walk around the city while the night was still a decent coolness. He sighed as he grabbed his hoodie and began to walk. He stopped when he heard a scream and turned his head to see Bella in the alleyway, being forced on by some random douche bags.

"Hey, step away from her!" Jake yelled as he threw a punch at the guys and knocked them to the ground. He tried to calm down his anger as he could feel the change come over him. He was breathing deeply and when he knew that it had passed safely he looked at Bella. "Are you okay?" he asked her.

Kereck raised an eyebrow. "What's there about you that guys don't understand?" he asked, sorta confused.

Jake hurried over to Bella. "Hey, hey, you're fine. I found you in the alley and you're at my house now," he said.
