How do I make the foreshortening look...believable on the upper arm x.x and is it clear that she's laying on her back? My boyfriend said it looked like she was laying on her stomach.

Have you studied perspective drawing at all? Think of the basic shapes that make up the arm, and how they would look going towards a vanishing point straight above it.

ummm foreshortening look? like her arm is moving away from the front? lower the forearm to be more behind the upperarm

she does look like she's on her stomach if you ignore the fact that her other hand is on her hip.... the way that hand looks make me thinks she's on her back, but if you back her left side a bit straighter it should fix that.... also add some breast shadows shadows

As much as I agree with you, Inso won't pull back now because he doesn't want to piss off a bunch of people. Changing the rules mid-contest would have more of a negative impact than just letting the contest finish and then hosting another one later on with changed rules.
