I'm okay ... today I went to the doctor because my hip hurts. I wanted a cortisone shot. I haven't had one in 6 years and I'm finally sick of the pain ... about 15 years ago I fell off a horse and got in a traffic accident the next day ... then 6 years ago I was working at a hospital and had to catch a patient falling out of bed ... so anyway I never got x-rays done and my new doctor refuses to give me a shot until orthopedics gets a chance to go over the x-rays and decide for themselves. I had to get 10 x-rays done of my hip in all different sorts of positions and of both hips for comparison. now I have to wait until Friday for the orthopedist to "read" them and then get back to my doctor who says I'll also probably have to wear orthopedic support inserts in my shoes because I'm also flat foot ...
