lol :XD It's a pretty famous American novel, about this woman who committed adultery because she thought her husband was dead and she was in love with the minister. They had an affair, and she became pregnant and gave birth to a girl. The people in the town were scandalized and she was jailed for her crimes. When she was released, she refused to tell the people who the father was, and was forced to wear a red letter 'A' (for adultery) on her clothes.

I chose the topic monogamy because I thought it would be easier to cram more words into it, but so far I'm not having much luck...:sweat: *is reading about divorce and how monogamy in marriage isn't necessarily good when the two people don't love each other, local sayings that have to do with it, etc. etc. etc...:headdesk:*

Haha. I read the first line of Fading's previous post and knew what book it was right away. I never had to read The Scarlet Letter in school, and have yet to find a copy to read by choice. I like the adaption that was portrayed in the movie Easy A .
