We went to the drive in last night and saw Super 8 and Transformers. Super 8 was cute and Transformers was...completely ridiculous!

Yes! Ridiculous! I was making snarky comments the whole time. I've always always had trouble telling the robots apart during fight scenes. Their designs don't really make it easy. =/ If they're not brightly colored like the cartoons I'm like "Who the crap is that?!" And the last action sequence when on foooooooooooooreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeveeeeeeeeeeerrrrrr! And magically, nobody "important" got hurt, though people were blowing up left, right and center. D:

New Transformers movie? Did it suck as much as the first one? I didn't even bother with the second one.

I'm a classic fan at heart, I don't understand the need to have FLAMES ON OPTIMUS PRIME, REALLY? REALLY!?

Well, I went into the movie expecting nothing, and so nothing was lost. But to answer your question, yes, it did suck. They tried to make the new eyecandy girl more relevant, but bleh. Didn't care. Couldn't tell the robots apart. My suspension of disbelief died. Gravity? Black holes?! Clearly, nobody thought of how that stuff works.

After not much sleep, lunch with my Nana and cousin, a failed nap, then a double feature at the drive in, Cookie was exhausted and slept fairly early. Though I still didn't get out of bed till afternoon.

@Rad - Yeah. It was nothing to write home about unless you're writing about how awful it was. Although, sadly, I have to say I enjoyed Transformers more than Pirates of the Caribbean, because I was let down by Pirates and I expected nothing from Transformers, but Transformers was still more entertaining in a horrible way. While I found that Pirates did nothing I hadn't already seen before, it was just tired.

Yeah, I've only seen the first Pirates movie.
After that, I figured there wouldn't be anything interesting anyway.

Actually, I have a theory that if you only watched the first Pirates movie and this latest one, you'll really enjoy it. But if you got dragged through the second and third movie, then the fourth does absolutely nothing new and fun. So you might actually enjoy the fourth one. I wouldn't rush out to the theatres to see it, but you could give it a shot when it's on dvd, but only if you were entertained by the first one. If you weren't, don't bother, this one doesn't do anything better than the first one.

The first one was mildly entertaining.


Also, I wouldn't even bother pirating a pirate movie, I'm that uninterested.

I forgot about my livestream coming up on Saturday, now I'm not as prepared.

I livestream games, sometimes art.
Recently I've been streaming Chrono Trigger.

But tonight, I think I will play some stupidly hard games on the hardest difficulty.

My friends show up and watch me, and have conversations about stuff that doesn't have anything to do with the game.
But yes, it's entertaining.

Also, would be more so if I could get my mic to work with Procaster.
Then there would be entertainment in my nerdy voice squealing at all the HARD MODE.
