Yeah, but I don't think I can even name the last event. We were supposed to have one more old school event, but that never happened. Rewards handed out for participation in random events is kind of weird, easy to miss. I'm willing to give the new system a try, but I hope it takes shape soon.

Mene's really the only forum like this I visit anymore. I poked at Gaia the other day to mess around with zOMG, but I never actually visit any more. Which is a shame, because technically, I still own a guild over there but it's a yaoi guild. To be honest, most other yaoi fans annoy the crap out of me because they're young and stupid. They don't know crap about the genre but "ZOMG! A and B are soooooo hot!" and stuff. I don't find the conversation to be stimulating and as I grow older, I grow less tolerant of that idiotic behavior that is stereotypical of yaoi fangirls. But it's not just fangirls these days, it's fanboys too. I just made a massive rant on my tumblr/lj about something like that.

O.o Yeah, all I can say is the older you get, the stupider young people seem to be. ...course I can say the same about older people as well.
Eh, I'm mostly not one for talking lately. Been rather anti-social for a few weeks. Though last weekend ended that streak. :)

Unfortunately, stupidity is not limited to the young people. There are some older people in the fandom, my age and older, who are just as dumb and annoying as the kids! But overall, the kids as a group are more consistent in that stereotype. But damn if there aren't some bored housewives out there who can wank like nobody's business. D:

*huggles Wifey* I was pretty antisocial when I was on vacation and I had nothing to do! I could have been super social, but it's harder when you're not on your own computer. I just did different things while I was there.
