Into The Country
Peace, Serenity. These are some things people think of when they live in the country. The country where everyone knows eachother. Have you ever wondered what happens in the country? The drama part? The part where there might be some myths? It's summer and some people are going to the country for vacation. The peaceful country with animals, diners, farms, barn dances, and more! But will you en up staying here? Will you marvel at the beauty? Will you swing on the tire next to the lake? Will you dance at the barn dances? Will you hate the country? Will you find love? Come on down and find out.....

Rules
1. Have Fun!
2. Be creative! Steal boyfriends/girlfriends, make your long lost evil brother come, etc!
3. Message all profiles to me, don't just post them. Labeled "Into The Country".
4. Please be able to post at least one paragraph per post. I understand writers block, but not every time.
5. If you want to be a Shapeshifter, Werewolf, or Vampire you must get special permission from myself. So pm me and ask for my requirements for which supernatural being you would like to be. You must be willing to follow those rules for that supernatural being.
6. No Mary-Sue's or Gary-Sue's. Which means do not make your character all perfect. No one is perfect. Everyone has faults.
7. Be different! Don't be the same type of character as another person. We all like diversity! Don't be afraid to be different! Different is good!
8. Do not use ** for action. Use " " for talking. Do not txt tlk.
9. Do not kill any characters without permission from them and me.
10. Do not just quit. Tell us.
11. You can have as many characters as you want as long as you keep up with them all.

You don't really wanna hear it do you? It's really long... I was born in Georgia. The capital of Georgia, Atlanta. I was born into a stay at home mom-except for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday when she goes to work at the hospital as a nurse- and a work aholic dad. My dad is in the career of managing restaurants. Which means, we have good food.
I myself tend to go work at Sports Grills. I like 'em, and they are nice to be able to work at. You've got nice people, until they get drunk, you get cute guys, and an okay work outfit. Slacks or shorts, and a t-shirt. Which fits me perfectly, because I have a country accent due to the fact that while I was growing up we went to a lot of the Southern states. Just to let you know my eyes are gray-blue, I have wavy dark brown hair, I'm 5'4, and I've never kissed a guy before.

You don't really wanna hear it do you? It's really long... I was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. My dad abandoned us when I was five and my brother, mom, and I moved to Atlanta, Georgia. I stayed there for 10 years, and met my best friend Michelle Page Newlin. The three of us, her, my brother, and I, grew insanely close and inseparable. When I was 15 my mom moved us up to New York City, where she had gotten a job offer as a fashion designer. I haven't talked to my father since I was 5, and the thought of him makes me sad and angry. My mom recently decided to move us back down to Georgia because shemissed her hometown. I'm a city girl, but I do like to get swept away in the country life. I work as a waitress and love it because I get to move around a lot, stay busy, and get good tips since I talk to everyone. I'm a small girl; 5 foot 6 and a low weight, startling bright blue eyes, long dark redish brown straight hair, and I've only kissed a boy once when I was 15.

The mother blamed me just like I blamed myself and well my teacher had to erase all memory of our life their on me and all the other towns people but a magic mishap gave me my memory back and now at 18 im almost trapped in my own body and my teacher hopes a little country air will clean me and give me a fresh start.

You don't really wanna hear it do you? It's really long... Eighteen years ago I was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. A year later my baby sister, Aysel, was born. I quickly grew protective of her. My father abandoned my mother, sister, and I, when I was only 6. My mom moved us to the South, Atlanta, Georgia to be specific, and there we began to start a new life. I met Michelle Paige Newlin when I was six, and my sister, her, and I instantly bonded. It was the good life for 10 years. My mom got a job in New York City and we moved. However two years later my mom decided that she wanted to go back to her hometown, and once again we moved to Atlanta. I've never seen my father since he abandoned us, and I'll never forgive him. I'm extremely protective of my sister, and anyone who I care about. I'm definitely a city boy, but I don't mind going back to the country life all that much. I work at a local coffee shop and I take advantage of the employee discount.

[IMGLEFT]http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk31/frogprincess_1/Brunnette.jpg[/IMGLEFT]BEEP BEEP BEEP The annoying noise filled Michelle Page Newlin's room. Her room lay on the second floor of a two story house which sat on a big farmland. She was unfortunately an only child. It hadn't always felt like that, up until awhile ago when her two best friends in the world moved away to the city. Quite sad really. But she'd gotten used to it now, and wasn't expecting them to be coming for the summer. Honestly, she didn't think she'd ever see them again. Ace and Mason were their names. While they were gone she'd become a bit of better friends with Selena. But no one could replace good ol' Ace and Mason.

In the country it was just like it was said to be. Peaceful, dirty, pretty, and everyone had the country accent. Heals were almost unheard of. This morning however, it wasn't so quiet. It was a couple of days into summer and already her parents were fighting. They always fought during summer because of how much her dad worked at all the local restaurants. Most of them he'd built himself and ran himself. It was actually pretty cool, but he was almost never home. A very good reason to fight over, just not pleasant to hear. Sighing, Michelle got out of bed, turned off the alarm and took a shower.

Michelle dried herself, blow dried her hair, and then got dressed. Today, she was off the hook from working on the farm. But she had to go into one of her dad's new restaurants and 'supervise'. She pulled her hair up into a ponytail and then hurried downstairs. She grabbed her car keys and her wallet. Her wallet she shoved into her pocket and held the keys in her hands. Thankfully, her parents stopped fighting when she got downstairs. Mostly, just because they didn't like fighting infront of her. She kissed both their cheeks goodbye and then ran out to her big black truck.

Michelle didn't believe in purses. They were stupid yucky things, that just got in the way. Her boots and pockets were her life. They were all she needed. Starting her truck, it took a few minutes to actually start, she waited and then backed out and drove to the new Sports Grill. She actually worked at an older Sports Grill of her dad, but it was all good. For now, it was just supervising that this one continued to be built correctly and all that. Probably a boring task for the day... She had no idea that Ace and Mason would be coming in for the summer...

musikfreakx 09-05-2010 08:03 PM

Aysel, mostly known as Ace to her friends, slammed the door of her classic 1968 midnight blue Camaro shut. Her brother got out of the other side and squinted into the bright country sun. She was back in good old Georgia, and she smiled as the hot sun welcomed her.

Most people she knew from the city had never been to the country. They didn't know the heat of the bright yellow sun, the friendliness of most people, the nature smells and sights, and of course the late night swing dances held nearly every week. Aysel loved the city. The hustle and bustle, and an endless list of things to do. But she couldn't help missing the country. After being abandoned by her father when she was five years old, her mom moved all three of them down to the country. 10 years later they moved up to New York City.

"Back in the country," Aysel said, more to herself than to her brother. Her long reddish brown hair fluttered slightly in a passing breeze. She was 17 now, her brother 18. She smiled at the thought of seeing her best friend Michelle again. Aysel glanced down to her low top, black Converse. She was wearing a pair of dark wash denim shorts, and a plain black cami topped with a loose, black and purple, soft shirt which sleeves ended gently at her elbows. She ran a hand through her hair and looked in front of her. She stood in the parking lot of a Sports Grill Michelle had told her she had been supervising.
"Ready to go?" She asked her brother excitedly, grinning as the thought of surprising Michelle. She waited until her brother replied, then strode up to the front door of the restaurant. She opened it slowly and grinned, calling out "We're baaaack!" as loud as she could.

Grinning at his sister's excitement, Mason nodded his head as a reply. "Let's do it," he said in a smooth velvet voice. His blue-ish black hair fluttered slightly with the wind. He blinked his startling bright blue eyes, the same color as his sister's, and began following her to the restaurant.

2 years ago Mason and Aysel had moved from the country up to New York City. Their mom had decided once again to move them back to her hometown deep in the country. Mason had never thought he would see Michelle or the country town again. But alas, here he was, standing on front of one of Michelle's father's sports grills. Smiling widely, Mason walked into the restaurant. He laughed as his sister called out and then added "Miss us?". His charm shone on his face as he grinned at the familiar faces. Most everyone in the restaurant called out to them happily in shock.

"Oh Michelllllllllllllllle!" Mason yelled, cupping his hands around his mouth as he did so. "Still loud as ever, city boy," one of his old friends yelled to him. "You know it," Mason replied. His sister laughed and walked back behind the counter. No one stopped them as he followed; everyone knew them and the were always welcome at Michelle's dad's restaurants. He wore a pair of black skinny jeans and a dark blue band tee shirt. Someone threw a black cowboy hat at him and he caught it, and placed it on his head.

DarkAngel562415 09-05-2010 10:45 PM

Selena steps out of her red Dodge Ford Mustang that she decided to bring down from New York. Pushing the rim of her black cowboys hat up out of her eyes, she starts walking to the resturant. She was wearing a pair of black boots, blue jean short shorts and a white tank top.Pulling the door open, she walks into the resturant pulling her hat off. "Morning everyone" Selena says sitting at the bar smiling.

Its has been only a couple of months since she decided to come back to Georgia and everyone treated her like she's been there the whole time. Looking around the resturant gave back old memories. She was born and raised her but then moved away when she was 7. Now 10 years later she came back to stay.

Running her fingers threw her long black hair she notices Mason and his sister Aysel. She sighs softly and turns her attention away from them. Why are they here.... Selena says thinking to herself.

Fairy_Tales_Are_Real 09-06-2010 01:39 AM

Michelle was in the back when she heard commotion. At first she ignored it, at the moment she was on the floor wearing a big coat over her clothes and rewiring some things while listening to John Johnson talk about his grandmother being in the hospital. She'd heard it probably five times and everytime it got to her. Thankfully, she wasn't blubbering yet. It was Mason's call that got her to move out from under, ignore John Johnson, throw the coat off and ran out. Never had she thought she'd hear his voice again. And if Mason was there, Ace was there. She was squealing in her cowboy boots, her long sweater swaying, her brown hair swishing. Her gray-blue eyes took over the surrounding, landing on Ace and Mason. She grinned. "Oh my! Ya'll are really here!" Her country accent filled the room while she ran over. She dodged and sidepasses some construction items and people and jumped over the counter. She could see Selena in the corner of her eye, but that didn't matter. All that mattered at that moment was that her two best friends were here. She hadn't seen them for 2 years!

Michelle was the shortest of the three, and the most "virgin" from them all. She wrapped her arms around them happily. "You guys! I thought I'd never see ya'll again!" She almost had a fit, just standing there with her two best buds. Now, to be honest most country people didn't know much about cellphones or computers and such. This was true here too, but they had the basic knowledge of it all. Which was good enough for them. Not for the city folk. Michelle hoped that Ace and Mason hadn't been turned totally citified. That would suck, and she wanted this to be a good time. Especially if they stayed long enough for Friday's barn dance. It was every Friday night. Almost like their religion. Everyone went to Church on Sunday. If you didn't, you were suspected for working of the devil, unless you were sick, or injured, or in the hospital. Probably one of the poor things about the country. But they couldn't help it.

For now, Michelle pushed away all thoughts except for the fact that they were there.

musikfreakx 09-06-2010 05:07 PM

Aysel looked at herself. "Yes, we really are here," she teased. She wrapped her arms around Michelle and squeezed tight. She knew there was so much they needed to talk about, but her heart was stuck in her throat. She couldn't stop grinning in utter excitement and happiness. She had missed the country; the barn dances especially. She knew there were a few set backs; like how some people wouldn't recognize her and would assume she had been converted to a country-hating, snob nosed, city brat.

Pushing away the negative thoughts, Aysel smiled once and again as she hugged her friend. She glanced up and saw Selena eyeing them for a second. She had never been sure about their friendship. Some days they had been perfectly fine and joking around, and other days they seemed cold to each other and a bit uncomfortable. Aysel smiled anyways at Selena and gave her a small wave.

Mason laughed as Michelle bounded towards them happily. "Hey shrimp," he said to her as they embraced. Truth was, Michelle was one of the main reasons he wanted to move back to the country. They'd always been close, best friends to be specific, and sometimes he had wondered if their relationship would be anything more. It was an interesting thought, but for now Mason was just happy to see her and be with her again as best friends.

Mason glanced up and saw a few of his old friends making kissy faces at him. He glowered and rested his jaw on top of Michelle's held. Her body seemed to fit perfectly to his. Before they had moved to the city, Mason had earned a lean, toned body from country work. He had maintained it while in the city; going to the gym and taking up jobs where he could put his muscles to use. He wasn't an overly buff muscled guy. He was lean, and evenly muscled.

Fairy_Tales_Are_Real 09-06-2010 06:16 PM

Michelle laughed lightly, she was expecting some sort of tease. And both had given her one. Ace had given her the 'repeating' tease, and Mason the 'short' tease. It seemed that Ace and Mason weren't too keen on giving hugs at the same time. Though she didn't see why. They were like two peas in a pod. She wasn't sure what that made here, but she guessed the was like the person who ate the peas and pods.... Shaking that horrible similie out of her head she hugged them both. She gave Mason a little extra, and snuggled into him a bit. When she was small, she had a huge crush on him, but sort of gave up as the years went by. Though, some still teased about them two. She wasn't sure why they teased about it, she saw them as best buddies. Although, sometimes she did feel like there could be something more. He was protective, and loving, and had a great body. Holding back a shiver, she stepped back after a few moments. "C'mon! I'll show you around!" She looked over at Selena. "Hey! Al Horton says he'll be round in a few minutes to show ya how to do that thing with the bartending squirter." She told her and hurried over quickly. She gave her a quick hug before hurrying back to Ace and Mason.

Today was her day. Nothin' could ruin it now. Michelle grinned at them. "Okay. Over there is the bar area. You know where all the drunkers can sit. And over there will be...." Michelle began to go on and on about where things would go, and showing them the back. She was just as excited about this place as them being here. Though them being there topped it all. When she was done she turned to them. "So. Whatcha think?" She asked.

musikfreakx 09-06-2010 08:43 PM

Aysel hugged Michelle and her brother again, smiling to herself. "The grand tour!" Aysel exclaimed and grinned. She looked around and saw a few people that she knew. She waved and gave a big smile, her bright personality seemed to radiate through the room and everyone grinned back at her. "Wonder if I can get a job here," she said and winked at Michelle. Her dad loved having her work as a waitress, and Aysel surprisingly liked it. She got paid fairly good, and her tips were great. Unlike a lot of waitresses she took the time to talk to her customers. Plus she got along great with mostly everyone she worked with, and she did her best not to get impatient with rude or indecisive customers.

"Oh a bar...." Aysel joked and laughed.

"Which you won't be going to," Mason replied to his sister and rolled his eyes. She punched his arm playfully and he lightly shoved her back. He hugged them both and then glanced around the restaurant. He shook his head and grinned. "Your dad is still opening new Sports Grills," he said in only slight surprise and laughed. He knew her dad was a workaholic and almost anyone could tell. He watched Michelle as she showed them around, paying more attention to her than the grand tour. He decided that maybe, just maybe they could have something this summer, maybe even longer than that. But for now, he didn't want to make her uncomfortable or ruin their friendship.

"Hey Selena,"
he called out and smiled at her. They hadn't been extremely close, but he chose to be friendly anyways.

Michelle laughed and nodded, but frowned slightly when Mason said that Ace wouldn't be getting a job. She didn't understand why Ace couldn't work here. They were always looking for new people to work there. Country people tended to be a little loose with their jobs. Especially if they worked at restuarants. That was when she remembered that Ace had also said something about the bar. She held back a small laugh at herself and nodded. Her dad was always opening something new. There was no doubting that. She could tell her parents were probably still fightng about it. She rolled her eyes at the thought and then big Mike walked in. She groaned and tried to hide behind Ace and Mason. Big Mike was the jerk of High School. He was that guy that tried to get with anyone. And apparently, he was after her this summer. She'd heard about it, and hoped not. But it was apparent because Big Mike tended to visit the Sports Grill a lot. It wasn't that he was a total jerk. It was just that he was that guy who thought he was bad. He didn't follow rules, had that city look. He was a bad feller.

He stode in, and Michelle winced when he walked right over. "Ace! Mason!" He hollered. "What a surprise!" He wrapped and arm around Michelle's shoulders and squeezed. Michelle sighed and gritted her teeth, trying to pull away. He was strong..... She bit her lip. "You guys remember Big Mike.... don't ya?" She looked directly at Mason when she said this. She was trying to get him to remember Big Mike's ways, even if it'd been two years. It was times like these that she'd hoped and wished Mason's protectiveness kicked in. Big Mike pissed her off, but being treated like a lady in the country meant not fighting or cursing and such of that nature. Big Mike had the upper hand. Though, so far she'd been good and haven't let him kiss her or anything. It wasn't that she was reserving her first kiss for her true love or anything. It was just that she hadn't liked anyone and them like her in return to be kissed. And she wasn't kissing just anyone.

Aysel laughed to herself as she watched the confusion, then realization of Mason's comment play over Michelle's face. She glanced up when she heard the door open and her eyes widened at the site of Mike. Her Mike. Well... he was. Before she had moved, he had been all she cared about it. He was sweet and funny, charming and witty. He was like her teddy bear. He was her first kiss. But, apparently because of the emails Michelle had sent her, he had changed. Drastically. Michelle had told her he was now a jerk who went after anything in a skirt.

Normally, Aysel would've told a guy who was all over Michelle like that to back the hell off. She had never been the type to let people, including guys, walk all over her or her friends. She wasn't afraid to curse, yell, or hit. She punched like a guy too. And she was proud of that. But now she was too shocked to say anything. She nodded in response to Michelle's question and kept silent, which was obviously very unlike her.

Mason saw Big Mike step in and frowned. The frown deepened as Mike wrapped and arm around Michelle. He glanced at his sister and patted her shoulder. He plastered a fake smile on his face as he stepped out to Big Mike. "Mike, what's up? Long time no see," he said and laughed. Then, in a more serious tone, added, "I think you're making the lady uncomfortable," and gave him a serious 'don't mess with me' look. Mason wouldn't start a fight unless Mike made the first move, but that didn't mean Mason wouldn't make him get off her. He hated when guys tried to take advantage of girls, especially with Michelle and his sister.

Mason waited for Big Mike's response. Aysel had told him about what Michelle had said, through email, about Mike. He knew it crushed his sister, and that made him frustrated with Mike. Now that Mike was on Michelle like she was his property, Mason's semi-short temper and protectiveness began to kick in. He glanced back at his sister, watching as she stood silent, eyes averted to the floor. Mason's gaze returned to Mike, a slightly steely look on his face.

Fairy_Tales_Are_Real 09-06-2010 10:46 PM

Mike had noticed Ace's look. To be honest. He hadn't thought he'd see her again. For awhile there, Ace had been his first love. But then she moved away and broke his heart. Which had reminded him of his mother. So what did that mean? He'd turned to be almost exactly like his father. He was too blocked now to even care that Ace was there. Though, he was surprised he hadn't said anything about him being all over Michelle. He shrugged it off for now and looked down at Michelle then over at Mason. It was Mason who challenged him. He smirked. He should have guessed that Mason would have said something, almost everyone but Michelle herself knew that Mason had a thing for her. Though now, he wasn't sure if he was stepping up because of what had happened with Ace, or what was happening with Michelle. Just to bug Mason, he squeezed a little bit more, making Michelle move closer. "I don't hear the lady protesting." He shot back, narrowing his eyes just a bit, the smirk still upon his face.

The thing was, he knew Michelle wasn't going to say anything. That was so Michelle like. He'd been surprised when he'd tried to kiss her and she dunked, or pushed away. Mike grinned now at the thoughts, just because he liked a little bit of a chase.

Michelle was so thankfuly for Mason to step up. She stared mostly at Ace. She could just tell that this was hurting Ace. For two major reasons. Number one, Ace was quiet and looking down. Number two, Ace hadn't said anything or done anything when Mike was all over her. Both were very different from the normal Ace. But, she kind of expected it. Big Mike had been Ace's teddy bear. Ace's love. Ace's first kiss. Who could blame her to be hurt now with Mike here? Mike had changed. Michelle had told Ace over email. Which by the way, was a very hard thing to use and she only did it when she absolutely couldn't write it to Ace. Michelle hated using the computer. It was a hard thing to get used to, and after 2 years she still wasn't used to it. It was a hard process with complicated stuff. Just the thought made her shiver. Unfortunately, that probably would send something bad to Mason.

Michelle's thoughts where interrupted when Mike squeezed tighter, making her stumbled a bit closer. She winced, his grip definitely going to leave a mark, even with her striped sweater on. She looked over at Mason, almost pleading him, with her face, to rip Mike away from her. The only right squeezes she liked were from Mason, and Mason never squeezed that hard. Never. Mike didn't care about hurting her. Mason did. Besides, she wouldn't ever go out with Mike because of the relationship that he and Ace had had. That'd be just wrong and immoral to do.

musikfreakx 09-06-2010 11:36 PM

Aysel gave Mike a hard look for treating Michelle the way he was. Then she turned to Mason, raising her eyebrow. "Don't do anything stupid," she said, even though she could tell he wouldn't listen. She gave a half smile at Michelle to let her know she was OK, even though she really wasn't, and then sighed. "I'm going to the park, meet me there?" She said to Michelle and walked out.

She felt bad for just leaving Michelle like that. But it hurt too much seeing Mike like that, and she didn't want to witness her brother do something extremely stupid. Which he would, knowing it involved Michelle. Aysel slowly walked to the park, breathing the country air in to calm herself down. A pick up truck screeched to a stop beside her, making her jump half a foot backwards in shock. She saw an old guy friend, pretty cute to be honest, lean out the passenger window. Another old friend waved from the driver seat. "You want to come with us down to the lake?" He asked and grinned. "Nah, I'm heading down to the park. I'll go Friday though, for sure," she said and watched as they smiled, waved, and drove off. Aysel arrived at the park and sat down in one of the swings, holding onto the chains with her hands and slowly pushing herself back and forth.

Mason gripped Mike's arm and tugged it back, even though he knew he shouldn't start something. He twisted Mike's arm back behind him, holding him tightly in the painful position. "I think she wants you off," he hissed. Mason wasn't a big big guy, but he had muscles and he was fast. He had gotten in street fights before and he knew how to disable someone. Though he rarely got physical with someone, he couldn't contain his temper now. "I think it's best you go," he said and pushed him off.

Mason gently laid an arm around Michelle, giving Mike a small smile. He noticed a few people had began to stare. He tipped the black cowboy hat on top of his head to Mike. "You have a good day," he said with a slight Southern charm and turned Michelle and himself around, leading them into the back.

Fairy_Tales_Are_Real 09-06-2010 11:56 PM

Michelle would have never expected Ace to just leave the way she did. She had never left Michelle behind. With Mason or not. She nodded though and watched Ace walk out. It troubled seeing her friend like that. But he couldn't change Mike's ways back to his original self. They all knew it was still there. But when Ace left, something had changed and she doubted he was every going to go back now. He probably enjoyed the sex all too much. It was a good thing he was safe otherwise the whole entire girl population in Atlanta, Georgia would be pregnant. Besides herself and those he hadn't gotten to ofcourse. Her eyes widened when Mason got just a tiny bit violent. She had to say, she'd never really seen him actually got violent. Except one day when she was small and some boy was picking on Ace. That was actually how they'd met. Michelle had been being picked on,and then Ace stepped in, momentarily by herself at the time, and then Mason came over to play with Ace during recess and saw the boy being mean to Ace because Ace had been saving Michelle and the little boy left with a broken nose.

Michelle stumbled to the side and watched Mason stick up for her. She always felt bad when someone had to come and save her. But she'd been raised a good little girl, and she was tiny compared to most. She couldn't hurt a fly if she wanted to. She looked up at Mason and walked with him, before something caught the corner of her eye.

Mike watched Ace leave. Ace leaving, was like giving Mason the green light. Before he knew it Mason had his arm around his back. Grimacing, he felt the pain along his arm and all the way to his shoulder. It hurt, big time. He stumbled forward, and grimaced. He shook his arm and turned around watching as they walked away. If there was only one thing that pissed Mike off, was some guy stopping his move on a girl. And just the fact that Mason was Ace's brother made it all the more worth getting pissed. So he didn't give up. In his defense. Mason had started it. He grabbed Mason's shoulder, tugged back and threw the first punch. His fist connected with Mason's eye. This motion making Michelle fall backward. He didn't pay much attention to her, just barely noticing her crawl behind a counter. And he most certainly couldn't care less that there were people watching. Mason had started it, and Mike was going to finish it. Atleast he wanted to finish it.

musikfreakx 09-07-2010 12:46 AM

Aysel, frustrated with herself, got up off of the swing. She felt horrible for leaning Michelle behind, and she knew Mason had started something. It was a gut feeling, and her gut always rang true. She began jogging out of the park, not pausing to say hello to old friends who called her name. Her trim, long legs carried her quickly to the Sports Grill. As soon as she stepped in the door she saw Michelle thrown to the side and Mike's fist connect with her brother's face. Her temper flared, but she decided to let Mason handle his own business. She rushed to Michelle.
"Are you OK?" She asked glancing over Michelle to make sure she wasn't hurt. She looked around quickly and set her glare upon Mike and Mason. "Gosh dang idiot," she muttered, referring to Mason. She waited a second before deciding when she would intervene with the fight.

Mason oophed as his left eye was sucker punched. He cursed under his breath and hooked his left fist, landing a hard punch to Mike's stomach. "You need to learn how to treat a lady and not be such a stupid idiot," he said to him, before punching him in the face with his right hand. Mason didn't back down from a fight once it was started. He didn't care how hurt he got or how bad Aysel would chew him out later. All that was on his mind was Mike hurting his sister for he acted and for how he was treating Michelle.

Aysel slid herself between the two boys, pushing them apart. She had surprising strength for a small girl. She ducked a few punches from either side as they still tried to get at each other. "Knock it off you baffoons," she yelled loudly. Another thing surprising about her, she had a loud voice when she wanted to. She turned on Mike first. "If I ever see you hit my brother again it won't be him knocking you out, it'll be me. And if you dare to treat Michelle like that again, I won't hesitate to put you in the hospital," she said, her voice loud and full of anger. She was mighty intimidating when she was angry. She turned her head to her brother, still holding the two boys apart. "And you, if you start something like that again I won't step in to help your sorry butt." She pushed them apart harshly before turning on her heel back to Michelle. She knew everyone was watching. "First day and I'm getting my brother out of a fight and yelling my lungs out," she said in disbelief and helped pull Michelle up.

Mason angrily glared at Mike as his sister chewed them out. He knew she was mad, and he wasn't going to continue fighting and suffer the consequences. He knew his sister fought like a guy, actually better than a guy. "Either we'll finish this later or you'll back off. Your pick," he said to Mike. He backed away towards his sister and Michelle, not trusting to turn his back to Mike. "And by the way, that was a cheap shot," he added, not caring if he was feeding the fire, so to speak.

Mike fought back, getting a few punches in too. He ignored Ace when she first walked back in, and continued to throw some punches. Mason pissed him off so much. No matter how bad he felt, all he cared about was fighting with Mason. He'd been a big problem when he'd been dating Ace, and now he was a big problem with trying to get between him and a nailing a girl. So to speak. But he kind of knew Mason would do something when it came to Michelle. That's why he'd waited this long to try something with Michelle. Though it was also because she was Ace's friend. But the matter was, he hadn't expected for them to come back and ruin his fun. Even when Ace came between them he tried to punch Mason a few more times. He held back a small growl, but softened just a bit listening to what Ace said. Ace had never really spoken to him like that. But that was the Ace he knew. And had once loved. Until she left him. Just like his mother. He narrowed his eyes and glared back at Mason when it was his turn to be chastised by Ace.

Mike gritted his teeth, his fists curling at his sides. He would've continued to beat his ass except for the part about Ace's warning. He knew better than to get into a fight with her. Besides, he didn't hit girls.... Except maybe in bed.... He snapped his teeth at Mason, almost daring him and then stormed out.

Michelle looked up when Ace came. She smiled lightly at her and nodded, though she had a small scratch on her cheek. She hadn't been watching the boys. She hated watching fights. Especially when Mason was in them. She flinched hearing Ace getting between it and screaming at them. She knew that Ace was telling the truth. to be honest, having Ace and Mason for friends was pretty much like a fort built around her. She was always safe. It'd been a hell of two years.... She looked back at Ace and frowned. "I'm sorry...." She muttered, blaming herself for all this. She hadn't expected this to happen. Mike had pretty much ruined her good day. And probably Ace's and Mason's good day. She let Ace help her back and touched her cheek, wincing at the small cut. She'd be fine though. She looked over at Mason. "Are you okay?" She asked, worried. He looked pretty bad. "Joe! Go get the first aid kit!.... Now!"

musikfreakx 09-07-2010 10:34 PM

Aysel smiled sadly at Michelle. "It's okay, it's not your fault," she reassured. She glanced back, her eyes saddening as she watched Mike storm out. She was one of the only people that had ever known about his mother abandoning him and his father when he was younger. And she knew it must've been like that all over again when she moved. Though to her that still didn't excuse the fighting. She sighed and ran a slender hand through her hair.

"Mason... please. Just leave it alone. Don't start anything with him again, please," Aysel said quietly and gently touched his eye, flinching as he winced. "I'm going to get a few things from the car parked out front. I know you'll take care of him Michelle," Aysel softly stated. She walked out the door, her Converse lightly thudding the ground. She swung open the front driver seat of her 1968 midnight blue Camaro. It had been her 16th birthday gift from her mom and brother. It had been rusted, used, and barely working when she first got it, but Aysel put a lot of work into it. Now it shone like it was brand new, and it was amazing to drive it. Aysel glanced around, feeling slightly watched. She discarded the feeling and leaned into the car, rummaging around for her phone. She hummed quietly to herself.

Mason sighed loudly and growled as Mike walked out. He nodded as his sister talked to him, his heart panging as her sad eyes begged his. Wincing as Aysel touched his eye, he felt his anger slowly subside. He nodded again as she walked out then turned to Michelle. "I'm sorry I started all that," he apologized, frowning.

Wrapping her into a soft, yet tight hug, Mason closed his eyes. He knew Michelle wasn't a fan for violence and hated seeing people fight. He knew Mike would most likely try something again, he just hoped he could keep his temper in check. He rested his jaw on top of Michelle's head before pulling away from their hug. He picked his forgotten black cowboy hat off of the ground and placed it on his head. "I'm fine, we don't need a first aid kit," he protested, though he knew it was useless.

Selena watches the fight and sees the fight and then gets up from the bar and goes after Michelle "Hey what happened? I wasnt paying any attetion until I heard some yelling" Selena says leaning against the side of her car. She wasn't a big fan of fighting but when it came to friends, thats where she had to draw the line.

(Michelle isn't outside.)

----------

Even with Ace's assurance, Michelle still felt like it was her fault. But could she help it that Mike had turned into an butthole? Sighing, she watched Ace walk out sadly. She looked back over to Mason and nodded, letting him enwrap her in his hugs. His hugs were always so nice and comforting. She had forgotten how much she'd missed his daily hugs until now. She had truly missed them. So warm, and cuddling. He was like a strong teddy bear. A force to be reckoned with. She was such an opposite she didn't think she stood a chance at all. That feeling still carried on 'till today. Just moments after Selena came over from the bar to lean again the host stand, Joe came back with the first aid kit. She shrugged. "Big Mike caused some trouble is all." She told her vaguely.

Michelle thanked Joe, who patted Mason on the back before going back to work. Michelle grabbed Mason's hand and lead him to one of the few booths that her up. She sat him down so that she only had to stand to fix his eye. She was upset when she couldn't find an ice pack. Figured. She sighed, wondering why there was a bag of frozen peas..... She shrugged it off and grabbed it, placing it softly on his ice to make sure it was cold to him. When she was sure it was, she moved it and took a wet paper towel, cleaning up the little blood on his eye. He looked much worse than her small little cut on the cheek.....

Mike had just been walking when he saw Ace walk out. He stopped to watch her, mesmorizing her tiny little movements. He'd missed her. His face hardened, reminding himself that she'd left him. He walked away, trying not to break anything on the way out. He'd stop by Mary Ann's house...

musikfreakx 09-09-2010 08:59 PM

Aysel plopped down in the car, her back hurting slightly from bending over to get to her phone. The leather seats were slightly hot from the burning rays of the southern sun, but oddly enough she welcomed the heat. She glanced up, a movement in her rear view mirror having caught her eye. She could see Mike watching her, then walking away. The scene brought tears to the corner of her eyes and she slumped in her seat, defeated.

A tiny picture of them was tucked lovingly on her center mirror, and she snatched it from its place. Her hands gripped the sides of it tensely, wanting to rip it. It was a photograph taken at the fair two years back. They sat on a ferris wheel, Mike holding her passionately in his arms. She had been clutching to his hand when she took the picture, out of her slight fear of heights and to also hold on to that one moment in time. She had been lucky enough to take the picture in the air at the very top of the ferris wheel, the fair lights aglow in the background. That had been the first night they kissed, at the top of the ferris wheel, right after Aysel had taken the picture now grasped in her hands.

Aysel's hands loosened again. She couldn't bring herself to rip apart the momento of that magical night. She tucked it into her wallet and decided she'd take a drive to clear her mind. She stuck the keys in the ignition and rolled down the two front windows. The classic car gleamed in the bright sunlight. She sent a short text to her brother. [[Going for a ride.]] She sent the message and closed her LG Neon shut. Aysel took a deep breath and glanced around, making sure no cars were in close range. She stepped on the gas, the car emitting a loud roaring noise that satisfied her ears. She sped off, dust flying up in her wake.

Mason slid open his phone as Michelle sat him down. He read the text, nodded to himself, and put the phone snugly back into his front left pocket. He closed his eyes as the frozen peas touched his face, feeling the icy sensation rush through his face. It felt relieving on his black eye and he let out a deep breath.

His startling icy blue eyes opened and landed on Selena. "He won't be causing any more trouble," Mason reassured both of the girls. He gave a broad smile to Selena. "So how have ya been?" He pondered, his charm radiating from him. He hoped his sister was OK, but he knew only a fast drive in her classic muscle car would quell her worries, at least momentarily. He returned his gaze to Michelle. "I'll be OK, I don't need all of this," he teased, referring to the ice pack and cleaning of his eye. Truth was, he actually liked it, but he wouldn't admit it.

Fairy_Tales_Are_Real 09-09-2010 10:16 PM

Mike went home. The same picture was in his boxers drawer, but he didn't dare look at it now. He wanted to freshen up before going to Mary Ann's. But as he was getting ready his eyes kept landing on the drawer. Groaning he sat down on his bed and placed his head in his hands. This wasn't him. Everyone knew about his drastic change. But could he really be blamed for such a horrible change? He was just being like his dad..... Though most guys didn't like his dad, but it was pretty easy to be disliked in the country. One person didn't like you and then 10 guys didn't like you too just 'cause of that one guy. That was kind of a problem about the country. Not that he'd had a problem before his change after Ace had left. Some people had suspected that that was what it had been. Her leaving that changed him, but when anyone asked he had no comment. He didn't even know himself. But if he had to look into it deeply he knew it was because she'd left and that brought memories of his mother which then figured it was just best to be like his dad. Which was who he was being now. But was it really working out for him?. . .

Michelle shook her head. "Shhh." She muttered softly, moving a peice of hair from his face to better look at his bad eye. She didn't have a cellphone. Most people in the country didn't. It was called a house phone or you used the phone of the place you were at. She continued to tend to his eye lightly, before one of the construction men came over with his cell phone, he was the leader of the men, and handed it to her. Michelle put down the stuff she'd been using on Mason to answer the phone. It was her dad asking for updates. She told him about how the restuarant was going, leaving out the whole Mason and Mike thing then handed it back to the man. She still didn't know his name. Sighing she looked back at Mason with a small smile before picking up the peas and placing it upon his eye. She hated making him feel bad, but she knew it probably felt better with it on than without. So she learned to forget about the icyness feel to it. "Does that feel better?" She asked.

DarkAngel562415 09-09-2010 11:08 PM

Selena looked at Mason and his black eye "I've been fine just working and doing school" She says as she sat down in a chair "Its seems like I've missed alot since I moved away" Selena says looking at Michelle and Mason "So what has happened since I was gone?"

musikfreakx 09-10-2010 12:21 AM

Zooming down the long road, with her hair whipping behind her in the wind, Aysel's thoughts flew out the window. Driving like this, with the windows rolled down and at a high speed on a lonely road. She whizzed past Mike's house, refusing to look in its direction. She still knew where everything was and what she passed without even a glance out the window. She revved the engine and grinned, just barely registering a small, unusual noise coming from her engine. She cursed loudly and hit the steering wheel forcefully with her left palm before pulling over to the side of the road.

Groaning, Aysel hopped out of the car, slamming the door after her in frustration. She glanced up and scoffed at the irony which seemed to engulf her. She had been trying to get away from her thoughts about Mike, and of course her engine made a questionable noise only two houses down which caused her to pull over. She grumbled incorrigible words as she opened the hood. Her mom had once told her that her dad's life was mostly cars. He loved them more than anything. After learning this Aysel was determined to learn everything about cars, including fixing them. She knew more about cars than a lot of guys, which sometimes seemed to be a problem with them. She felt that by knowing and understanding and loving something that her father did, she would still have a small piece of him.

Aysel sighed as she opened the hood, beginning to investigate the engine of the Camaro. As she moved her hands around, feeling and looking for anything wrong, a bit of oil splattered up onto her black and purple plaid over shirt. Yanking it off in a frustrated manner, Aysel tossed it into the open window of her car. Wearing only a plain black, low cami and her shorts and Converse, the girl returned to the front of her car and continued to try and figure out what the mysterious clank had been.

Mason made a fake "ugh" when Michelle shushed him. He rolled his eyes playfully and sat in his seat, letting her take care of him. Momentarily watching Michelle receive the call from her father, he turned his attention to the other female, Selena, at his side. "That's great." He chirped in his smooth voice. "Ace and I just got back here," he said, shrugging to her question. He squinted his eyes for a second as Michelle moved his hair. Her and his sister were the only people he didn't mind messing with his hair. Selena used to as well, but he didn't quite know if they were as close any more.

"What happened to ice packs? We've resorted to frozen peas," he stated and laughed. He knew that the country wasn't as advanced as the city, and it was amusing to pick fun at it every once a while. However, unlike most people, he did know when to stop. Country folks could get pretty offended by some statements, and they fought pretty dang good compared to a lot of city people. Mason leaned back for a second, his hands behind his head as he relaxed. His eye throbbed a bit and he winced when the peas touched it again.

DarkAngel562415 09-10-2010 12:30 AM

Selena laughed slightly at his joke "Hey I have a idea, why dont we have a welcome home party for you, me and your sister? Since we all just moved back techinal" Selena says looking at them.

If they saif sure she would throw the coolest party. She was kinda known that she threw the coolest parties in New York, but she didnt want to brag. Thinking back at the time she spend in New York. It was probably the hardest thing to do was leaving all of her friends she made there. But she gave them all her address so if they wanted to come visit they could. She would go back and visit when she could but she wanted to catch up with her old friends. And it seemed like she missed alot. Mason looks alot hotter, Aysel looks much different from the last time she saw her and so does Michelle. She didnt always get along with them but since she's back whats so bad about becoming their friends now?
