Through my Eyes (Wolf Kemonomimi/Native American RP) (o/a!)
Quote:
Many, many years ago, the Wolf God Lokai decided that he wanted to fill the Earth with life. With the help of the Rain God Shesa and the Sun God Esewana, they filled the earth with trees, rivers, plants, and animals.
Now, Lokai known for his kindness not only to his people, but to all beings. Shesa was also very kind to the creatures, giving them noroushing rain every rainy season. Esewana provided light and warmth for all, but he was cruel and sometimes burned the land. Lokai became very afraid for the creatures of the earth; while Esewana let his flames burn, the creatures were helpless.
One day, a beautiful she-wolf named Nizhoni called to Lokai with sadness in her heart. ‘Oh great Lokai,’ she cried, ‘Esewana’s flames have killed all my children. Please, I am heavy with more, do not let them be born to die!’ Lokai felt sadness in his heart for the beautiful Nizhoni, whom he had always loved from afar.
‘Nizhoni,’ he said in his soft, deep voice, ‘I will make your children strong. They will be born with the ability to control Esewana’s terrible flames.’ With that, he waved his hand over Nizhoni, and kept an eye on her.
Many moons passed before Nizhoni finally gave birth to a new litter. But they were unlike any wolves that Nizhoni had seen. They had the ears and tail of the wolf, but their bodies were different. They had hands and feet, and their legs were longer then their arms. They all walked upright, and could hold things in their hands.
‘Children of Nizhoni,’ Lokai said to them. ‘I have given you hands so that you may capture the fire with sticks. Learn from Spider how to weave a basket to carry water in, so that you may toss it on the mighty fire.’ The new children did so, and Nizhoni was overjoyed that her children would no longer die by the fire. This angered Esewana, but he could do nothing against the children- they knew how to fight against him! And so, the Utsi Waya people flourished, under the protection of their proud mother Nizhoni and the wonderful god Lokai.

This is the story of the Greater Utsi Waya tribe. One of the strongest tribes in the East, the Greater Utsi Waya tribe has flourished under the rule of the Great Chief Eseha. But on his 80th birthday, a group of enemy raiders attacked and killed many, including the great Chief. Leadership as gone to his daughter, Renka- and while she is more then capable of leading her people, she must prove to some of the stronger warriors that she is the rightful leader.
As Renka struggles with leadership, news has come of adventurers from a far-off land across the waters. They have the same ears and tails as the Greater Utsi Waya tribe, but they dress differently, and speak a different language. Who are these people, and what do they want? Will the Greater Utsi Waya tribe be able to call upon their brother tribe, the Lesser Utsi Waya, to fight against these strange invaders?

Rules of the Tribe:
-Follow Mene ToS please.
- I am God here, so what I say goes.
- I expect roleplayers to be corteous to each other, no matter what side your character is on.
- Lets keep things pg-13. Anything above is not allowed on Menewsha.
- Romance and fighting are encouraged, but do not go into too much detail and if you're going under the covers, skip to after. I don't care how you two got down. I really don't.
- I expect the roleplay level of this to be literate. Which means i paragraph consisting of five sentences AT THE LEAST. I understand if it takes you a while to get a post up- this rp will go slowly anyways. Do not trade quality for quantity (meaning, do not sacrafice making one good, long post just to post a bunch of shorter ones.)
- Please do not join and then never post. This irks me.
- If you want to drop out, go ahead and tell me. I won't be mad, it just makes things easier and it helps me try and keep the story organized.
- Regarding the character race- we're al Wolf kemonomimi here. Meaning we all have wolf ears and tails. No, we do not transform into wolves. And no, no one is a dragon/ram/whatever kemonomimi. Everyone is either Native American or European.
- No godmodding. It's not fair D:
- Be creative and have fun!
- Be realistic (or as realistic as you can be, anyways.) If you're a Native American, you aren't going to be able to speak to the Europeans right off the bat, and vice versa. These things take time.
- Title pm's "Through my eyes and behind my soul" so I know you read the rules.
- Rules are half-assed, I know.
- Oh, cussing is fine.
- I'll add more as I see fit.
