I had my best friend borrow our Lord of the Rings trilogy the other day, and it made me think how I haven't watched them in yeeears. So I had to urge to watch them. Haha. Not much of one, though, because they're rediculously long anyway.

Not to rain on everyones art parade, but from what I've been told, art degrees aren't worth it in the end. Not the full blown ones. I think class's are a great idea though...

I doodle all the time during classes. I go through notebooks like... like something people go through really quickly... and I've drawn people in my classes before. I've never told them about it though. I'm always afraid if they saw my rendition of them, they'd be offended or something. xD

I don't hide it from them, tho. I just assume they won't recognize themselves in my drawing. :B

I dont really hide it. Just doodle them and do my notes. I mean, if they were nearby me, then i'd probably not want them to see it. They'd either find it creepy or flattering. But the guys would probably assume it meant that I had an infatuation with them.

@ Hataa; Stick figurines always help develope body drawing.
Or a cross ~ Then use curvy lines to make out the thighs, arms and middriff.

The head more or less you can lightly do circles until you get the right size one you want, then outline it darker and erase the rest. Then you have to do the cross again inside the head to separate where the eyes go and where the mouth goes. xDD

Sometimes that helps, sometimes it doesn't.
I never really liked guidelines most of the time. My drawness does not like to be restricted.

@ Soda; I know. Most careers aren't going anywhere but everyone needs a Graphics desinger. Those who don't have the talent to do it, need those kinds of people. Yeah, I bet there has been an 100% increase on artists but you always need them for something. For instance: Anniversary Cards, Birthday Cards, Clothing outfits, Stationary, Stuffed animals, Jewelry and all that nonsense. c:
