Mermaid General Profile

Life Span: Unknown but some are known to be hundreds of years old
Average Height: 5-7 feet (Human), 5-8 feet (Mermaid)
Average Weight: 120-300

Strengths: Being in wet environments, Swim at the speed of sound
Weaknesses: Being in dry environments
Abilities: Hydrokinesis-enabling them to control nearly any aspect of water they please, Regeneration, Turn to Human Form when dry and turn to Mermaid Form when wet, and one individual special ability.

Appearance: In mermaid form, Dolphin tails below the belly button area and look human above the belly button area. They look like normal humans in human form.

Personality: Calm and Reserved, but when angry, extremely aggressive.
Favourite activities: Swimming
Least favourite activities: Climbing to high elevations

History: Mermaids lived peacefully in the water for millennia and separate from the humans. Starting after the Industrial Revolution, pollutants have entered the water and the mermaids have been affected. They grew physically and mentally sick of it and decided to invade the surface world in order to take over and safe their underwater home.

Trivia: They are mammals just like Dolphins and Humans.
--They are omnivores, and their diet mostly consists of fish and seaweed when in the water. They eat what humans eat when on land.
--They mostly like warm water but can stand the cold for no longer than a day depending on the mermaid.
--They date just like humans, and once they find the one, they stay together for life.
--Both parents raise the children and sometimes families get together to raise the children together.

Special Ability: Hypnotic charm that allows her to exert a subtle influence over sentient beings, leading them to believe what she says and agree with her suggestions. However, her hypnotic charm does not work on those who know about it.
Appearance: Long golden hair the length of her body, Bright Blue eyes, Dark-skinned European or "average Caucasian" skin tone
Personality: Cares about her people and Earth, Ruthless against Humans and Traitors
History: She was a loving and fair ruler, who everyone loves. When she found out about what the humans were doing to the Earth, she became obsessed with them and wanted them dead.

History: She wanted the humans dead just as much as Lorelei and was very loyal to her. When she got to know some humans, she began to develop sympathy towards them because not all of the were foul creatures. She is still loyal to her leader, but she has trouble killing humans.

Personality: Only cares about the mermaids' well being, has no sympathy for humans or anything that would cause the mermaids' pain.
History: She lived a happy, carefree life until she realized how upset Lorelei was with the humans. Now she wants nothing but the mermaids' happiness, even if that means destroying the human race completely.
