Pretty good. Trying to clean out my closet and get caught up in a few things around the house today. :)

I managed to get the front room picked up and most of the trash gathered into one location and half the dishes washed ... so much more to do tomorrow though ... stupid housework ... it's never "done" ...

I was cleaning for guests that never came over. Which is just as well, since the house needs more cleaning than I could give it in time to keep me from feeling embarrassed. A couple of weeks playing games instead of keeping up with stuff and it really shows. |
yeah, I can really relate to that.
but it also does make me angry when I spend time cleaning and anticipating and such and then they are no shows. all that worry and hassle for nothing. |
Well, it did need to be done anyway. My fiancee just flat stopped cleaning when he realized that he didn't 'need' to finish taking all the trash out. :roll:
I did manage to prod him into about 3/4ths of it though. |
phew! the closet is done now. Yay! Now it's just the corner shelf with tons of stuff on it. >.< But that will be next weekend.

I went to go buy a wok today - but discovered that I only have about 10$ in my bank.... >.<'
So, I get to wash more dishes and cook up the huge package of hamburger in very small batches in my smallish skillet. |
yeah it's better to do a full clean once a month then have it pile up for to long.

I steal need to vacuum the stairs and wash all of the silverware in the sink, but I have the bulk of everything else done! yay!! (mostly) all clean and waiting for when the goddesses appear!

The only cleaning I did today was washing dishes and putting them away, cleaning the cat litter (both boxes), and putting some organization into my boyfriend's room.

well, that sounds like a good deal of cleaning to me!
a friend of mine does a "deep cleaning" of her house every weekend. how she does it astounds me! and her youngest kid is less than 2! *puts out new food for the banquet, tends to the empty platters and dirty dishes. puts some new CDs in the stereo. and sweeps and washes the dance floor* there, all set once more for the goddesses when they show up. |
Maybe her older kids help watch the youngest while she does stuff?

Gah, I subscribe to FlyLady - who says that a little cleaning done wrong is better than no cleaning at all, especially for those who are of the mindset of 'if you can't do it right, don't do it at all'. XD
I can't imagine doing a full deep clean every weekend. My little procrastinator's soul would keel over. XD |

Weekend? I'm busy at work all weekend! I don't have time for cleaning on weekends. My one day off is the only time I get to see my boyfriend, though, so I just get no cleaning done. |
