Haunted house all year round ! Who needs it just for Halloween

crazymuch 10-28-2010 09:30 PM

sadly, we don't have any haunted areas near us. I wish we did.

HIM_ROCK 10-28-2010 09:33 PM

Our local cemertary is haunted by a pilot, he has been seen wondering round the graves.

Nephila 10-28-2010 10:06 PM

People think I'm haunted. Electronics hate me. My TV turns on and off whenever it wants. and lots of people are uncomfortable in my room. It doesn't bother me though.

HIM_ROCK 10-28-2010 10:09 PM

We have alot of unexplained activities happening in the house I live in not all caused by me. We've had stuff come down the stairs and hit the front door like it's been thrown.

crazymuch 10-28-2010 10:20 PM

yeah, I've had plenty of problems like that in my old apartment.

Connielass 10-28-2010 10:30 PM

My best friend's dad dug up some old toys dating from around the Civil War era out of their back yard. He cleaned them and put them on display in their living room on the mantle above the fireplace.

That's when things started happening, TVs turning on and off by themselves, lights going on and off by themselves, the radio was on playing static when no one had touched it, banging noises in the middle of the night with no cause.

He put the toys back where he'd found them in the backyard, and everything stopped.

I have my granddad's penjulum clock and every time the batteries have run out and needed changing it's always stopped on the same time at about half past 6.

Also it doesn't matter how carefully you hang it the penjulum seems to always bang on the side.

Fauxreal 10-29-2010 03:53 AM

*looks around wistfully*

crazymuch 10-29-2010 05:09 PM

have you ever taken the clock to a repair man or something HIM?

my friend has a grandfather clock and the stupid thing always chimes at the quarter hour instead of the exact hour or half hour. it's really annoying. and the pendulum stops working often. I hate the beautiful thing.

HIM_ROCK 10-29-2010 05:40 PM

It's determed to bang no matter how far to the left you hang it. It's rather a stange clock

crazymuch 10-29-2010 05:49 PM

hmmm. that would be interesting.

a friend of mine was with her daughter in the waiting room waiting while her grandson was having surgery. and it had already taken half an hour longer than they said and nobody had come out to tell them anything. and then the clock stopped dead in the waiting room! they were so freaked out! so my friend went to the desk and asked the gal what was with the damn clock? and she's all, yeah, it stops all the time, we just can't seem to make it work right ... um ... I'd think the first thing you'd do to a clock in such a location would be to GET RID OF IT! how many families have sat in there thinking their loved one must have died in surgery??

HIM_ROCK 10-29-2010 05:57 PM

Most clocks in hospitals and doctors are slow by at least 10 minutes.

crazymuch 10-29-2010 06:19 PM

slow I don't doubt. but stopping all the time? if nothing else, that has to be bad luck.

Connielass 10-29-2010 08:14 PM

Or maybe it's really bad batteries.

crazymuch 10-29-2010 10:11 PM

well, I had a good session with my therapist today. and of course, there cropped up the trying to tell the difference between if I'm crazy and hearing voices, or what I sense being part of my being a medium ... I think we pretty much covered that I'm not crazy and hearing voices ;)

I'm really surprised there hasn't been any activity near me for a while. basically spirits are energy and they feed on energy to manifest (hence cold spots) and with the excitement of Halloween they would have had ample opportunity to feed off my energy and those around me. but so far it's been very quiet this year. hmmm.

HIM_ROCK 10-29-2010 10:21 PM

Someone's been round with a ghost hoover and sucked them all up ?

crazymuch 10-29-2010 10:33 PM

that is entirely possible. and sad, if not tragic.

HIM_ROCK 10-29-2010 10:36 PM

Espcially seeing as ghost aren't bio-degrable.

crazymuch 10-29-2010 10:40 PM

they really aren't. you'd just end up with a landfill full of ghosts in plastic bags for like ever!

HIM_ROCK 10-29-2010 10:44 PM

And they don't make those ghost like they used to, these new one soon turn malevalant the old ones never did that until they turned 65.

Nephila 10-30-2010 01:11 AM

I wonder how the work on the event is going. We got a cool new chat feature...but no one uses it.

Whisper Invictus 10-30-2010 01:27 AM

eveeeeent.... D: do we have to bewitch the goddesses for halloween? *is fully prepared* I WANT HALLOWEEN NAO! :squee:

Nephila 10-30-2010 03:09 AM

Dunno. It's pretty quiet around here though. :(

*pokes Mene with stick*

BellyButton 10-30-2010 03:15 AM

Hey! I felt that! *rubs ribs*
