I just had soup tonight. It's freezing outside and I'm getting sick to boot. pizza is more a weekend thing for me.

yeah, it was really nice the past 2 days. the temperatures actually in the 50s ... and now it's freaking in the middle to low 20s and they are calling for snow. what the "F"??

Yeah the white stuff is pretty much everywhere where I am. If it were for the road clearer's I would have to walk threw like 3-4 feet of snow. very deep this year.

you know, everybody has been talking about the nasty snow storm we got in '96. I wonder when we will have snow that bad again ...

Maybe, though last year where I am we got a big snow storm in April.

last year was a super mild winter. it was like a chilly spring or something.

sure we are ... just nobody knows when ... we may have had to skip last years or something, I don't know. some folks just got too busy to turn in their part of the work to have the event.

I guess they will have Celes Paradi in August.
I suppose they will have to have some explanation that the goddesses held Celes Paradi somewhere else last year since they can not miss a year. |
well, they WERE beguiled on that other island for so long ... we still don't know if they were under some sort of spell or if they were being so lavished by those that lived on the other island that they lost track of time ... by the time we heard news they were finally aboard a ship to come here it was early winter and you know how the seas are at that time of year! even though they are goddesses, I'm not sure how powerful they are ... like if they could force a ship through weather like that or if they had to turn back or stop somewhere else to wait for the seas to be calm enough to finish their journey ... or if they have to return to their homeland at a certain time of year ... it'll be interesting when we finally know just what happened with and to them.

I wonder if they will ever figure it out seeing as it has been so long! We never did manage to go on our rescue mission. Mr. Mayor didn't help us with it :gonk:

well, he was pretty busy. there was that bad sickness that hit town about Celes Paradi time ... his mansion was used as a sick ward for a while. then it was Halloween and then Christmas then the New Year. and soon will be Valentines' Day ... poor guy has just been super busy!
