How's it going?

Busy, as always. :) Planning my Celes Paradi thread, planning a bunch of contests and such for it. Hoping to find a few people to ask for opinions on the contests, and perhaps a few capable of helping me host them, since I am not a hundred percent certain how much time I'll be online during it.

What sort of contests do you have so far?

Several. Pageprizes, planning on a short-story contest, the Hunt for Yumeh's Crown, maybe some treasure hunt maps - I have the basic maps done anyway, so once I put in the prizes, I can just put them up and all. Maybe a few rounds of trivia. Got a few other ideas as well, but they need to be worked out a bit more, and I need to check exactly how much funds I can spare, because I'd rather not spend ALL of my charity's funds. I can restock, sure, but I am trying to increase not decrease my personal funds.

Sounds like you got a bunch of things to keep you busy. I'm teaming up with Alaunt and LoveRoyally to co-run a thread. I've got a hangman game all planned out and just need to work of the prizes for second and third place.

Yeah, I have a lot of things planned. Gladly, several are worked out far enough that I can just throw them in as soon as the event starts - pageprizes, treasure hunt maps, Hunt for Yumeh's Crown, perhaps an event round of Letter Hunting. Trivia games usually are randomly hosted whenever I feel like it and have the time to do so. Short story contest needs a bit more work on the details before I can do anything with it, and I don't have prizes ready yet either. There are loads of other ideas and plans, but I need to work them out. If doable, I'll use them this event, if not, well, there's always Halloween and FoWN.

Always good to have lots of plans worked out. I've got to hash out details on the game I want to do on Halloween and work on getting prizes for it.

Yes, ma'am. I'm sure I'll be fine as long as I can decide on what prizes to use. I was thinking of second place getting an EI set of the event and third place getting either a select amount of gold or a few event commons.

The only problem with planning to use EI sets before the event has started is that, ahead of time, you never know how hard or easy it's going to be to get those sets.

Yeah, that's why I can't decide if I'll do that. I could use an older EI set as a prize. Perhaps some eggs. xD

Use eggs for those that lose. That way, you'll be sure everyone tries their best. xD

Yeah, I totally didn't start planning until pretty much too late. I forgot how hard it is to get things quickly out of the market. People want to haggle, or simply don't log back on for days after I make an offer... Meh.

At least I can offer blobs as prizes, if all else fails. Won't be as exciting as previous Celes items, but I go by the principle that something is better than nothing.

I'll gladly take any eggs you don't want. And I'd pay at least 1 gold for each.

Nah, I only sell eggs if you need them, Liz. xD No need to make your inventory explode with eggs if you then in turn will not be able to get rid of them. xD
