Oh, oh, if it's a latte that's much easier. You'll probably just need the syrup. But it does look like they're using a special holiday one you wouldn't be able to buy right now. Also, the bottles of syrup only have a month-long shelf life once opened... But if you have an espresso machine with a milk steamer, you could make an approximation at home!
I don't even know what my Christmas aesthetic is anymore. Guess it's for the best since I can't afford to decorate. [lol] I'm too caught up on Halloween. Like, for instance, I'm seriously considering getting this bowl and having it at as a year-round centerpiece. [ninja] Tomorrow's my first shift at Sbux so... if I happen to cross your mind between 8 AM and 4:30 PM CST, wish me well... [lol] Unrelated to anything, just something that's tickling me at the moment: With the nice weather we had been having, I had the windows open for a solid two weeks straight. Sammy loved getting up in the big front window so he could watch the street below. It's way too chilly for that now, but I opened the blinds just to get some sunlight in, and Sammy was immediately sitting below the window crying for me to lift the blinds so he could jump up. I did, and then he started sadly meowing because the window wasn't open and he thought it was. [lol] In the time it took me to type this, he gave up and left, sadly meowing as he jumped down. He's the babiest baby that ever babied. EDIT: He left to knead a blanket I left on the couch, and when I asked him what he was doing he yelled at me at full volume. My cat is weird. |
I wonder if I can just find a chestnut flavored syrup a land gerryrig something. I'd need a longer shelf life than that if I wanted to avoid waste. I'd have to figure out what to do for the praline bits though, hm.
He's sulking, that's what he's doing [lol] edit: holy shit yessss http://www.amazon.com/Amoretti-Premi.../dp/B00A66T6BC |
I don't imagine that one would be that good past a month after opening either, though. There's just only so long something can be exposed to air before the quality deteriorates.
Keep in mind with the Starbucks syrups, though, that it's not that they're bad after exactly 30 days. We would still use it on that 30th day. It's just that once you start going past that, the quality would start to go down. First shift went well! Nowhere near as hectic as our dry runs, so that's a relief. No melt downs! |
Yay! I hope it's gonna be a fun experience for you.

It's been over a year since my last post here? I don't understand the concept of time (especially lunchtime)
