Looking for an RP partner
Yes you heard right, I am looking for an RP buddy! Rather than provide you with a wall of text, I simplified some information on myself to point form that will prove useful to you when role-playing with me. If you are interested, please contact me via Private Message. I hope to hear from you soon!
- My name is Starling, or Star if you’d prefer. - Literacy is a must. If you do not know what literacy is in the world of writing pros, I will pray for you. - I write 1-3 paragraphs on average, sometimes more and seldom less, I would enjoy if you did your best to match this. I do find walls of text just as annoying as one-liners, with few exceptions so please try to keep it sweet but simple. I will forgive the occasional one-liner if you do the same, but if you harp on me for a one-liner then we are done. - Please do not sacrifice quality for quantity. 15 paragraphs of 3rd grade writing with spelling, punctuation and grammar errors is no more literate than 3 sentences of the same quality (or lack thereof) - I am online once a day for an hour at least, if I am not have no fear, I will be online soon. I will be sure to inform you if this changes. - I don’t mind dressy posts, I’d even say I like them; but do not overdo it! A small icon here and there, coloured text for certain characters or dialog all yes, but don’t go insane with fonts and text size, pictures, icons, animations and alignments please. - I will do romantic settings, but I should hope you would be willing to double. - I LOVE using Original Characters (OC’s), especially with interesting character development. Mary-sues are a definite ‘No’, as are Emo-sues and God-sues. Remember, realistically no one is perfect, and too many flaws or baggage is just as unrealistic. Try to keep the scales even. - I will only RP with Female Partners. Sorry guys, call it prejudice if you’d like, but males have never been up to my standards and I’m tired of giving chances just to be proven right. - I’ll try my best to be open-minded, but if I say ‘no’ to something please understand that pushing it will actually ensure I never RP with you. If I do not want to RP with you, or use an idea, there is a reason behind it. - It is not only rude, but lazy to leave someone in the lurch. If you have to stop the RP, or don’t want to RP anymore, tell me with some manners before you go. It’s the least you can do really. - This RP is not all about you. Yes, I tend to make plots to surround the other character, but that does not mean you can ignore everything else. - No godmoding please, unless it is your turn to play god for the plot-line, do not alter or change what is happening already. - I don’t do Yaoi, Hetero or Yuri only - I don’t do CanonxCanon unless otherwise specified - If I say I don't want to RP anymore just leave it at that. do you have any original story lines you want to RP? I love Ouran and would be willing to try a one on one fanbased RP but I think original story lines have so much more to offer

P.S. I do not have internet at home right now, I am currently relying on the internet at my library. These computers have a time limit of 1 hour a day. In addition to that, I work nights and may not be able to get online every day. So I'm looking for someone with patience, and maturity. and a pony... no, a unicorn. Yeah that would be awesome. A frican' unicorn man. We could pet it, and brush it, and watch it beat the fur off a mountain lion, I mean how cool would that be? A pretty horse/deer/goat creature with a horn in the middle of it's forehead, taking on a mountain lion and winning? Unicorns and mountain lions are mortal enemies you know. Ooops, got distracted. Back on topic now. I'm mostly hoping for a good Greek Mythology rp, so if you know more about the folklore than what censored and inaccurate content they teach you in grade 6 social studies and you can write with better than a 6th grade level, drop me a private message please! |
Hello, I was wondering if you would be interested in a Yu Yu Hakusho roleplay. I usually play as an OC and Kuwabara, Yusuke, or Hiei.

well my spelling is not the problem it is when people say they can't read what I write but i am trying my best but when they said that they hurt me but i have good ideas just want to know you know vampire dairies? :)

Considering I have more than 2 braincells and neither needs a walker, I'd say I have enough intelligence to not be a fan of that steaming pile of- well you know the rest of that sentence.
Anyways bitterness aside, Do you take the time to look over your post and correct spelling and grammar, and do you follow the rules of good character development? |
I do and if you have a problem with it I might get upset about it I had that with one of my friends and I will tell you I can't help it they hurt my feelings it really hurts me when people say that :'(

Seeing as you're killing people for their lack of literacy, I figured I would give it a shot.
First things first, I'm not a fan of fan based roleplays. I see that you appear to be, but that doesn't mean you won't stretch your thoughts. I don't mind throwing original characters into pre-created plot lines such as the love story between Romeo and Juliet. I should also add that I prefer creativity and do enjoy having a roleplay that is simply captivating. With that being said, you will immediately know when I lose interest. I won't reply for several days (and yes, you'll know that I've been on). Sorry, but I'm not really a fan of telling people I'm through. Second point, I'm not always on. I'm a double major third year college student. So yeah, free time is rare. But don't worry, I do make time. With that time, I watch TV shows, check facebook, and come on Mene. Sadly, Mene's last on the list. Ha ha. Oh well. Not sure what else I should bring up, but if you would like to learn more about my style, visit my request thread. |
