[CONTEST] SPOILERNOTES (ARE IMPORTANT): SPOILERTHE FOUR RULES: SPOILERPROLOGUE: SPOILER |
"I'm looking for someone..." I try telling the girl, but she's gone. I look at the paths. I love clouds, my heart tell me he over there, but my mind says he's on the other side. I look at the grass. I take one step on the grass I take a step back where the balance is. I wish I could find the girl that was just hear. "Can you help me please?" I ask. I'm lost in a dream? maybe... It feels to real to be a dream though. I need to find where my reality is I can't stay here forever... Right? where is this girl? is she a guide? "Hello I'm lost can you help me?" I call out to anyone who can hear.

Niya stared in the place where the girl had stood. Even though it had clearly been several hours since the small child had dissapeared she couldn't move a muscle. She could feel eyes staring at the back of her head and her eyes locked on the empty holes of the bleach white skull, the roses glinting an almost yellow in the bight light of the sun that hung above her. Forcing herself the move her eyes snapped away from the grinning skul and towards a smal path that lead away. Her feet moved slowly at first but before long she was making her way through the thcket of bushes towards what she didn't know. A flash of yellow caught her eye ahead and she found herself staring at another person standing and staring in fear and sadness at a spot on the ground, "I wouldn't bother with the girl, I called for a good half and hour and she didn't return." She looked around her, "But I could hear her laughing on the wind around me."
{I hope this is okay >.<} |
(It's just fine, sweet_serender159 :)) A wind begins to pick up and, though it is buffeting the small thicket of bushes rather forcefully, it is quite gentle when it touches the two people. Oddly enough the cloudy snow-like stuff, that makes up the ground, is unmoved by the wind. |
Niya looked at the ground as a large wind lifted the hem of her black high waisted skirt. The red trimming stood out aginst the black fabric along the hem and the red buttons on her stomach flashed brightly in the dark. Trying to keep it down and not above her waist she looked at the ground and couldn't help but notice the unmoved snow that sat on the ground. On further expection she couldn't help but gasp in shock at the realisesation that she was standing on whitee ashes. She shifted her leather boots a little and brown footprints were left in thier place, Okay now I'm creeped out!

Andorra felt dreary, her mind spinning ater the encounter with the girl. She knew it was futile to try to call out to her, to bring her back. The feeling of loneliness spread through her like wildfire. She had always hated being alone, especially in the dark. These childhood fears had remained all 17 years of her life. "H-hello?" She yelled aloud, not to the girl, but to anyone listening. It seemed as if she was sitting on a cloud. Or was it snow? Ashes? Oh god, don't let me be alone here, she thought silently in her head. Her dark blue-ish black hair blew slightly in the wind, her side-swept, swooped-like bangs falling into her face.
Andorra May Deveraux blinked her pale blue eyes and rubbed her semi-pale arms to try to warm herself. Who knew, up here in the clouds, it could be so chilly? She thought it had something to do with cold and warm air, but she never really paid attention in science. It wasn't her thing. When she looked down at herself, she saw she was still in her soft black skirt, black and blue corset-like top held by spaghetti straps, and black flats with lovely light blue stockings which accentuated her pale eyes and blue-black hair. She turned her head, seeing two other figures, along with that frightening, malicious, cruel white skull. |
Looking around her she pulled the black leather jacket around her a little closer and huggin herself slightly, she saw another figure standing a few feet away and she couldn't stop her feet from walking closer and closer to the stranger. Her grey eyes ran over the newcomer warily, "Hi. Seems we are all in the same prediciment." She looked around her as a new gust of wind picked up her skirt again, this time not a strong but still enough to make it difficult to keep her skirt down.

A shadow plays across your path, Seeming to momentarily pause, But then it is gone. |
Niya froze mid-pull and stared at the ground, she could have sworn a shadow had just moved across the ash covered ground. She pushed her brown hair out of her face and pushed it behind her ears, Wait no! She changed her mind and flipped it back in front of her ears, she never had liked it that way. An image crossed her mind as she tried to figure out if t really had been a shadow she had seen dance across her path, a yellow car, a stray tabby and than a large telephone pole. Closing her eyes tight the only thing she saw was her own blood spread aross the dashboard of her red BMW, and all she felt was an intense pain in her neck and back. Not even the ice-cold wind that tried to cut through her like a knife could get through the memory. And than as she looked up a small blonde girl stodd smiling at her from behind a tree, gesturing softly to Niya to follow her away from the crash and her body, where her Mother stood crying, trying to rush past the firemen that couldn't control the blaze that had appeared on impact.

Gulping as the shadow changed shape and seemed to pause to survey her and the others, Andorra watched closely as it flickered away. What was that?! She pondered frantically in her spinning mind. Before she could open her mouth to ask if the other's had seen it, flashbacks reeled in her head like an old fashioned movie. An empty cross walk, the sign on the side flashed it's green moving person, the signal for walk. It was late at night. Maybe midnight, possibly an hour earlier or later. A car came into view, full of kids she knew who wanted to play a practical joke. The horn blared loudly, causing Andorra to jump in shock. But that was all the movement she could muster as her legs stayed glued to the ground, unable to move to get out of the way. At the last second Andorra moved to run, but it was too late. The car's brakes failed and the driver lost control; the car continued to speed towards her. A white hot pain spread through her mid section and she felt as if she was flying before she landed on the wet, dewy grass. Then, nothing. She was suddenly watching as the students ran out towards her. Well, her body actually. The same semi-creepy blonde child that had talked to her earlier tugged on her black skirt, pulling her away into a blinding light. Was this it? The white light? Was Andorra really going to Heaven? Glancing around her now, at the night sky, clouds, and patch of grass and bushes, having snapped herself out of the replay of her death, her mind answered the last question; apparently not.

A pretty tree has, strangely enough, grown from the snowy ground. Beneath athe bow of the tree is the mysterious girl. Her eyes are a little different. "Be warned." She chuckles softly. "The fourth challenge is headed your way." Then she looks up warily before returning her gaze upon you. "Other people may or may not be joining this path, but they will not be able to follow you if you have already begun the fourth challenge." |
